  • swf file upload control not filtering the files for the second time

    iam using swf file upload control in my application developed in asp.net & c#.net. i am having a dropdown box with file types like jpeg,.xls ,.txt etc. so when i select particular file type in the dropdown and clicking on the button would open a filedialog showing only the files of the type selected in the dropdown. The problem is that when i select "jpeg" for the first time file dialog shows only jpeg files. when i select ".xls" next time it shows again the prevoiusly selected jpeg files and not currently selected ".xls". but while debugging it was found the file type definition in the swf code has been changed to .xls . can any one guide why the file upload control not mapping the selected file for the second time

  • Appengine not liking my .jspx files

    I have a little app that runs fine on local dev appengine, but appengine itself is not processing my .jspx files. The jspx files are in WEB-INF so they should not be excluded by appengine (as a static resource) I am using Apache Tiles to define my views.   • Silverlight navigation control not showing link

    hi, I am playing around with the silverlights navigation frame. Starting from the navigation project, I have basically copied the main page frame and launched it from a new hyperlink button. So I have a type of nested navigation (i.e. my new button "Employees", launches a new page which has a frame (named differently from parent) which has a number of hyperlinks). This seems to work fine however the URL for the sub frame hyperlinks do not not change. When I click on any of the nested links, it shows the parent link for Employee. Any ideas what needs to be changed? JD.

  • Cinema4D XML scene not rendering texture

    I was playing with the Cinema 4D command line options and ran into a problem that might not be specific to the command line options. I saved a basic scene(a textured cube) in two formats: the original .c4d(binary) format and .xml(Cinema 4D XML via File Export). the .c4d file renders with the texture applied, while the .xml file renders without the texture applied. I had a look at the xml file, and there is a node that holds a reference to the image used as texture, and there is another node which seems to store the pixels in xml. When I opened the .xml document in Cinema 4D, the document did store the material with the texture, but it was not applied to the object. Am I missing something when I export to XML ? How can I export a Cinema 4D XML that can render with the texture applied ?

[This is part of a larger system that can not be represented as a template.] Is it possible to define a macro "foo" so that foo(a) --> foo1(a); foo(a, b) --> foo2(a, b); foo(a, b, c) --> foo3(a, b, c); Basically, I want this macro to expand to a different macro depending on the number of args it has. Pretty much, I want number_of_(__VA_ARGS) as a symbol. Thanks!

  • User controls do not properly fit on the screen

    Hi, My application has several controls. Like in one screen has TreeView on left side, GridView with paging in the middle and 4 buttons at right side. The controls properly appear when the form is in a maximized state, but if I minimize it the controls do not properly fit on the screen. I tried with different different tricks like table layout.. in dat I added a panel, etc... But I could not solve the problem. How can I create such type of screens which fits independently of size of my window? Thanks

  • Rails redirect_to jQTouch site does not work as expected

    I have a Rails app with a jQTouch mobile site that is displayed if the user goes to m.blah.com. First, I detect the browser, then to a redirect_to m.blah.com if it's an iphone, etc. All well and good. When I use desktop Safari, this all works exactly right. However, when I use an actual iPhone or the Apple iPhone Simulator, it does not. The mobile site appears to load without the browser actually doing the redirect. The URL in the browser is still www. I am wondering if this behavior is due to Mobile Safari, or if it is somehow jQTouch trying to load the page with AJAX, not a reload (which is odd as jQTouch hasn't been loaded at all before the redirect). Any ideas?

    I a writing a gallery app in php. The images are dynamically displayed through php. On each load of the page, not all images are showing. it does this randomly, on each load. I have not had this problem before, as I am new to php.   • Nhibernate not tracking changes

    I'm using nhibernate and it appears that changes to my new object are not persisted. After creating and saving an object I then modify it and commit the transaction. However none of the modifications are saved. The strange thing is this code was working previously and I have no idea what could cause this. Nothing was changed that's obviously related.. As an attempted work around I saved the object later in the procedure after all the changes where made however I was greeted with an Assertion Failure collection [] was not processed by flush. Any ideas?

  • IIS Browser caching not working

    Hi, I have enabled caching in IIS 6 for all our static images and CSS(by right clicking on those folders in IIS and enabled Content Expiration after 30 days under HTTP Headers). When I run Google PageSpeed, and look at the resources tab, the status of those images and css shows up as 200, but I was expecting a 304(not modified). When I checked Yahoo.com in Pagespeed, all its images have a 304 status. So my caching is not working? or is this how IIS content expiration works. Any help would be appreciated.

  • ASP.Net Web Site Project - Errors Not Caught at Compile time

    For the first time in my career, I'm working on an ASP.Net (v3.5) project that has been set up as a Visual Studio 2008/10 Web Site Project. I'm not keen on this way of working this way for various reasons but for the moment and until such time as the company sees the virtue in working in an environment with namespaces, designer and project files etc., I have to continue with the existing codebase. I've run into some odd issues since I began this but perhaps the oddest one of all is that althought VS lets me build the code, it doesn't reliably pick up compilation errors so these are not noticed until runtime. I know the website model allows dynamic/hot compilation when a request is made for a specific but I can't see why it wouldn't do this when I manually (F5) build/rebuild the project. Its immensely annoying as you can imagine and I can't find a workaround. Could any StackOverflow person help with suome suggestions to make things better?

  • Software to find dependencys in a database that not have them as restrictions

    I have a database in SQL server 2005 that originaly comes fom an old mainframe. All relations was set in the surrounding software and there are non i the database. I need to find the relations, not by field name but by actual contence in the registers. (as suggestions, I realize I'l have to check them up) It would be nice with some extras, like finding motherless posts etc. but not a primary demand. There are some 200 registers with max 2 000 000 posts in any register. Does any one know of a software that can help me with this? The software I can find presuposes that relations are set in the database :(

  • Boost 1.4.0, "assert" identifier not found

    I'm trying to compile an old project that was originally written for linux on windows. It uses boost 1.4.0, and whenever I compile it throws error C3961: "assert" : identifier not found. I'm using Visual Studio 208 SP1 When I drill down into assert.hpp it includes this: # include <assert.h> // .h to support old libraries w/o <cassert> - effect is the same # define BOOST_ASSERT(expr) assert(expr) BOOST_ASSERT is actually what's failing, and VS doesn't seem to recognize assert() even though assert.h is obviously included. As far as I can tell, all the fails are in files that are part of boost, not my own code, but it throws about 1200 of them. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Recently, i have upgraded my iPhone SDK OS from version 2.2.1 to 3.0 version. After that while building my application i get an error the the provisioning profile has expired. So i created a new provisioning profile. Then i made the distribution of my application with the provisioning profile. But i get an error in iTunes while syncing my application into iPhone device. The error message is "The application"iGVA " was not installed on the iPhone because the entitlements are not valid." I checked the code signing Entitlements that contains the correct entitlement plist file. Please suggest me to solve it out. Any help would be appreciated ! Sathiya

In this case some workarounds are to simply inline the decltype(T() / U()), to give the point class a default constructor, or to use decltype on the full result expression, but I got this error while trying to simplify an error I was getting with a version of op_div that did not require a default constructor*, so I would rather fix my understanding of C++ rather than to just do what works.     I'm trying to stream a file from a remote website to a local command and am running into some problems when trying to detect errors. The code looks something like this: use IPC::Open3; my @cmd = ('wget','-O','-','http://10.10.1.72/index.php');#any website will do here my ($wget_pid,$wget_in,$wget_out,$wget_err); if (!($wget_pid = open3($wget_in,$wget_out,$wget_err,@cmd))){ print STDERR "failed to run open3\n"; exit(1) } close($wget_in); my @wget_outs = <$wget_out>; my @wget_errs = <$wget_err>; print STDERR "wget stderr: ".join('',@wget_errs); #page and errors outputted on the next line, seems wrong print STDERR "wget stdout: ".join('',@wget_outs); #clean up after this, not shown is running the filtering command, closing and waitpid'ing When I run that wget command directly from the command-line and redirect stderr to a file, something sane happens - the stdout will be the downloaded page, the stderr will contain the info about opening the given page. wget -O - http://10.10.1.72/index.php 2> stderr_test_file When I run wget via open3, I'm getting both the page and the info mixed together in stdout. What I expect is the loaded page in one stream and STDERR from wget in another. I can see I've simplified the code to the point where it's not clear why I want to use open3, but the general plan is that I wanted to stream stdout to another filtering program as I received it, and then at the end I was going to read the stderr from both wget and the filtering program to determine what, if anything went wrong. Other important things: I was trying to avoid writing the wget'd data to a file, then filtering that file to another file, then reading the output. It's key that I be able to see what went wrong, not just reading $? 8 (i.e. I have to tell the user, hey, that IP address is wrong, or isn't the right kind of website, or whatever). Finally, I'm choosing system/open3/exec over other perl-isms (i.e. backticks) because some of the input is provided by untrustworthy users.

I've linked the sub-report to dataset and dataset has one table call image and it contain column system.byte[]. main report link to another dataset . main report has parameters and sub report has only image field. but when run main report display data but sub report don't display. no error message. sub report dataset not pass data to report. anyone have any idea what might be causing the sub-reports to not work??

    I have posted similar question before . I have tried 2 things here .. C# code to make use of MS exchange web service exposed by our companys server, and send emails. THis works in our US offfice ... when i run the same application from our columbian client .. it does not work. C# code to send email a) use senMail C# API b) C# script to manually do the telnet to client smtp outgoing email server and send emails. BOth work in our US office .... but does not work when run from columnbian client location I need a solution asap ... pls help ..

  • Speech Recognition Server Does Not Stay Open

    I am trying to create a simple program that loops for user speech input using com.apple.speech.recognitionserver. My code thus far is as follows: set user_response to "start" repeat while user_response is not equal to "Exit" tell application id "com.apple.speech.recognitionserver" set user_response to listen for {"Time", "Weather", "Exit"} with prompt "Good Morning" end tell if user_response = "Time" then set curr_time to time string of (the current date) set curr_day to weekday of (the current date) say "It is" say curr_time say "on" say curr_day say "day" else if user_response = "Weather" then say "It is hot outside. What do you expect?" end if end repeat say "Have a good day" If the above is run on my system it says good morning and it then pops up with the speech input system and waits for either Time, Weather, or Exit. They all do what they say they are going to do, but instead of looping if I say Time and Weather and asking again until I say exit the speechserver times out and never pops up again. Is there a way of either keeping that application open until the program ends or is applescript not capable of looping for user speech input?

    The following code #include <stdio.h> template <typename T, T v> class Tem { T t; Tem() { t = v; } }; typedef Tem<FILE*,NULL> TemFile; when compiled in a .mm file (Objective C++) by Xcode on MacOS X, throws the following error: error: could not convert template argument '0' to 'FILE*'. What's going on, please? The code in question compiled fine under MSVC. Since when is the 0 constant not a valid pointer to anything? Is this an artifact of Objective C++ (as opposed to vanilla C++)?

  • IE 8 dialog windows not decompressing files

    Hi, I've got a website where we have pre-compressed all of our HTML files. In general this works fine, but since IE 8 has come out some people are finding that they can not use some parts of the website. We've used the showModalDialog command to open a dialog window and pointing to one of our pre-compressed files but it displays it just show up as strange characters (ie not decompressed). Now it only happens in the dialog. I'm pretty sure our compression is all fine because the page they are viewing to open the dialog is also compressed. Has anyone else come across this or got any suggestions cuz i'm stumped??? Thanks, Mike

When creating the project within Visual Studio I chose the "Automatically generate a test page to host Silverlight at build time" option.   • Are Sphinx & thinking_sphinx really stable? Not indexing Columns

    I'm encountering strange behaviour from thinking_sphinx/sphinx. My define_index block is about 100 lines, so quite a lot of columns i'm indexing. For full-text searching I only need about 10 attributes, for sorting and filtering I have another approximately 50 columns, mostly floats and integers. By filtering I mean using the "with" or "without" options. Searching does not really work consistently. All of a sudden, one attribute fails to filter. Or if I add a new one, it does not work. Only after a lot of tinkering it suddenly starts working. I cannot really reproduce it. Steps I that sometimes lead me to success where: rm -rf db/sphinx change the attribute definition e.g. has some_attribute = has some_attribute, :sortable = true or = has some_attribute, :sortable = true, :as = "some_attribute" restarting the server assigning a new :as name = has some_attribute, :as = "some_attribute_new" (yes, I did rake ts:rebuild or rake ts:in after every step) Does anybody else encounter similar problems?
