  • Bitmap.Save problems

    Hello, can anyone tell me if you know to be a problem with Bitmap and steganography for WM 6? I am working on a project and i have to hide a digital signature in a bitmap. The algorithm works perfect, as in untill i have the image on the memory the bitmap contains the modified bytes. But after i save the image (Bitmap.Save()) and I reopen the image, than those bytes are lost. When i say lost i mean they are the orriginal bytes from when the picture was taken. Thank you.

    I want to check in zend, whether a posted form value 'name' contains a value.For this i have used the following code one method if ($this->_getPatram('name') != null ) { echo 'field name contains value'; } else { echo 'field name contains no value'; } second method if ($this->_hasParam('name')) { echo 'field name contains value'; } else { echo 'field name contains no value'; } output , when submitting the form with the 'name' field contains no value in first method field name contains no value (result is correct) in second method field name contains value (result is wrong) So what is the difference between these two ? _hasParam and _getParam

  • CF - How to "lose" focus from a control

    Hello. I have a control with two buttons (zoom in, zoom out). Both buttons have onClick event that handle the zoom. When any of the button is pressed, the button gets focus and bolds its border and text. Is there a way to disable/remove focus? Actually the solution im looking for would be that on mouseDown the button would receive focus and would lose it on mouseUp. thanx !

  • Upgrading From EF 4x to 6 breaks everything

    Attempted to upgrade my project from EF4 to EF6, I get build errors It appears that if i swap out the namespaces manually to include the entity.core it works, but if i change the .edmx file at all, the code reverts back to the old references and i have to manually edit the code generation files to include the update namespace references. I have attempted to "add code generation item" that does not resolve the issue at all. When i open the .edmx file in the IDE it shows me everything correctly.

    I'm trying to use the following code and it still strips out all the tags. Am I doing something wrong?   • Unable to delete inherited entity class in EF4

    I have two entities in an EF4 model (using Model First), let's call them EntityA and EntityB. EntityA is marked as abstract, and EntityB inherits from EntityA. They are similar to the following: public class EntityA { public Guid Id; public string Name; public string Uri; } public class EntityB : EntityA { public string AnotherProperty; } The generated database tables look as I would expect them, with EntityA as on table, and then another table like: EntityA_EntityB Id (PK, FK, uniqueidentifier) AnotherProperty (varchar) There is a foreign key constraint on EntityA_EntityB that references EntityA's Id property, no cascades are configured (although I did try changing these myself). The problem is that when I attempt to do something like: Context.DeleteObject(EntityA_EntityB); EF attempts to delete the EntityA_EntityB table record before deleting the EntityA table record, which of course violates the foreign key constraint on EntityA_EntityB table. Using EFProfiler I see the following commands being sent to the database: delete [dbo].[EntityA_EntityB] where (([Id] = '5c02899f-09ea-2ed9-d44b-01aef80f6b64' /* @0 */) followed by delete [dbo].[EntityA] where ([Id] = '5c02899f-09ea-2ed9-d44b-01aef80f6b64' /* @0 */) I'm completely stumped as to how to get around this problem. I would think the EF should know that it needs to delete the base class first, before deleting the inherited class. I know I could do some triggers or other database type solutions, but I'd rather avoid doing that if I can. All my classes are POCO built using some customized T4 templates. I don't want to paste in a lot of extraneous code, but if you need more information I'll provide what I can.

  • Trying to edit an entity with data from dropdowns in MVC...

    Hello! I'm having trouble getting my head around sending multiple models to a view in mvc. My problem is the following. Using EF4 I have a table with attributes organised by category. Couldn't post an image :-( [Have a table called attributes (AttributeTitle, AttributeName, CategoryID) connected to a table called Category (CategoryTitle).] What I want to do is be able to edit an attribute entity and have a dropdown of categories to choose from. I tried to make a custom viewmodel public class AttributeViewModel { public AttributeViewModel() { } public Attribute Attribute { get; set; } public IQueryable<Category> AllCategories { get; set; } } But it just ended up being a mess. <div class="editor-field"> <%: Html.DropDownList("Category", new SelectList((IEnumerable)Model.AllCategories, "CategoryID", "CategoryName")) %> </div> I was getting it back to the controller... [HttpPost] public ActionResult Edit(int AttributeID, FormCollection formcollection) { var _attribute = ProfileDB.GetAttribute(AttributeID); int _selcategory = Convert.ToInt32(formcollection["Category"]); _attribute.CategoryID = (int)_selcategory; try { UpdateModel(_attribute); (<---Error here) ProfileDB.SaveChanges(); return RedirectToAction("Index"); } catch (Exception e) { return View(_attribute); } } I've debugged the code and my _attribute looks correct and _attribute.CategoryID = (int)_selcategory updates the model, but then I get the error. Somewhere here I thought that there should be a cleaner way to do this, and that if I could only send two models to the view instead of having to make a custom viewmodel. To sum it up: I want to edit my attribute and have a dropdown of all of the available categories. Any help much appreciated!

One processes is redirecting output of some unix command to a file on server side.the data is always appended to the file eg : find / > tmp.txt 2.)Another process is opening and reading the same file and storing it in a string and sending the entire string to the client Now, this things take simultaneously.     I am trying to create an Entity SQL that is a union of two sub-queries. (SELECT VALUE DISTINCT ROW(e.ColumnA, e.ColumnB, 1 AS Rank) FROM Context.Entity AS E WHERE ...) UNION ALL (SELECT VALUE DISTINCT ROW(e.ColumnA, e.ColumnB, 2 AS Rank) FROM Context.Entity AS E WHERE ...) ORDER BY *??* LIMIT 50 I have tried: ORDER BY Rank and ORDER BY e.Rank but I keep getting: System.Data.EntitySqlException: The query syntax is not valid. Near keyword 'ORDER' I do not think it is a problem with the Rank column. I do think it is how I am trying to apply an order by to two different esql statements joined by union all. Could someone suggest: How to apply a ORDER BY to this kind of UNION/UNION ALL statment How to order by the non-entity column expression. Thanks.

  • Why doesn't this CompiledQuery give a performance improvement?

    I am trying to speed up an often used query. Using a CompiledQuery seemed to be the answer. But when I tried the compiled version, there was no difference in performance between the compiled and non-compiled versions.     Hi there I need to create something like this: select name from table where active = 1 AND (name LIKE 'bla' OR description LIKE 'bla') The first part is easy: $sqlcmd = $db->select() ->from("table", "name") ->where("active = ?", 1) Now comes the tricky part. How can I nest? I know that I can just write ->orWhere("name LIKE ? OR description LIKE ?", "bla") But thats wron, because I need to dynamically change all the parts. The query will be built all the time the script runs. Some parts get deleted, some altered. In this example I need to add those OR-s because sometimes I need to search wider. "My Zend Logic" tells me that the correct way is like this: $sqlcmd = $db->select() ->from("table", "name") ->where("active = ?", 1) ->where(array( $db->select->where("name LIKE ?", "bla"), $db->select->orWhere("description LIKE ?", "bla") )) But that doesn't work (atleast I dont remember it working). Please. Can someone help me to find a object oriented way for nesting "where"-s

  • Front-end phtml template form doesn't connect to controller.php file

    The web system which I'm working on right now, has a add.phtml (in views folder) form, which contain normal form elements and pageController.php (in Controller folder) file which has function to be connected when user hit "add page" button on the form. The codes goes like this. on add.phtml file, input type = "submit" value ="Add Page" on pageController.php file, function insertAction(){ } For some reason these two doesn't connect now.
