    I am trying to echo a result from xml into my html code form expedia. But I ran into a problem.     Hi, The basic question is: How do I perform a basic override of a plugin method without editing the original plugin file? Is it possible to create an override for a specific instance: Example: An rtf plugin uses: $('selector').wysiwyg('setContent',newContent); In order to display the rtf text as readonly I would like for the same method to be applied to a div instead of the body of the IFRAME I would like to overwrite the original 'setContent' with my own code, just for this one element.     Simple as that: I have some inputs that are rendered inside another form element, but I want to submit then individually. I tried "serializing" the div that contains them, but it didn't work. Is there an easy way to do this? My code: var form = $("#my_div"); var get_data = $(form).serialize(); /* Get #my_div inputs value */ $.get(self.url_form_rendering, get_data, function (data){ /* handle server response */ }) Serialize returns "", any ideas that don't involve redesigning the layout to avoid form nesting?

  • Preventing fixed footer from overlapping content

    I've fixed my footer DIV to the bottom of the viewport as follows: #Footer { position: fixed; bottom: 0; } This works well if there isn't much content on the page. However, if the content fills the full height of the page (i.e. the vertical scroll bar is visible) the footer overlaps the content, which I don't wont. How can I get the footer to stick to the bottom of the viewport, but never overlap the content?

Now the problem is that I need to add sub-menus under Science and Pipeline heading. Since I didn't use UL or LI, how can I add sub-menus under those heading. OR, can you tell me any other way to create a NAV bar that shows the logo as well. so it would be LOGO and MENUS on the same line. Great thanks in advance.

  • is it possible that a greasemonkey script can work on one computer but not on another?

  • Video playback with jQuery Mobile and Phonegap

    I'm fairly new to mobile apps, so am trying to knock up a simple video player using Phonegap and jQuery Mobile. The problem is, jQuery mobile appears to be blocking the video playback for some reason. I don't know jQuery mobile at all, but searching in the js for a reference to the video elements doesn't show up, so I've no idea what is blocking it. The code works fine in Chrome and Firefox. There are no console messages in Xcode. I also tried hooking up to http://debug.phonegap.com/ but this gave no error messages either. Any ideas??

    I have following code with a RequiredFieldValidator. The EnableClientScript property is set as "false" in the validation control. Also I have disabled script in browser. I am NOT using Page.IsValid in code behind. Still, when I submit without any value in textbox I will get error message. From comments of @Dai, I came to know that this can be an issue, if there is any code in Page_Load that is executed in a postback. There will be no validation errors thrown.
