    I created the following JavaFX script, which when run, generates an Invalid memory access on Snow-Leopard. What is it about javafx.scene.control.ScrollBar that is causing a memory failure?   • ASP.Net Form Databound problems

    I know there is a similar problem on this forum, but the solutions did not really work for me. I am populating form controls with fields from a few different data sources, and the data shows up great. I have an ImageButton controlwhich has an OnClick Event set to grab all of the data from the form. Unfortunately, when I click the button, it seems as though the page is reloading first, and THEN is executes the OnClick call. The data that was hand-entered, or hard-coded seems to be pulled fine from the controls it was entered in, but anything that was pulled from a datasource is not able to be read. Any ideas. this is the last hurdle in a project that I have been working on for 6 months. I want to go home... Thank you so much in advance. Jason

  • Do I have to bind an UDP socket in my client program, to receive data? (I always get WASEINVAL)...

    Hey There, I have the following problem: I am starting WSA, then I am creating a UDP socket (AF_INET, SOCK_DGRAM, IPPROTO_UDP) and try to recvfrom on this socket, but it always returns -1 and I get WSAEINVAL (10022)... I don´t know why?... When I bind the port, that does not happen... But it is very lame to bind the clients socket... (As far as I remember, i never had this problem before:/ )... Anyone knows why this happens?... (I am sending data to my server, which anwsers[ or at least, tries to^^])...   • How to preserve data integrity while minimizing the transmission size

    we have sensors in the wild that send their data to a server every day via TCP/IP, either through 3G or through satellite for the physical layer. The sensors can automatically switch from one to the other depending on their location and the quality of the signal with the local 3G operator. Given that the 3G and satellite communications are very expensive, we want to minimize the amount of data to send. But also, we want to protect ourselves from lost data. What would be the best strategy to ensure with reasonable certainty that the integrity of our data is preserved, while minimizing the amount of redundancy, i.e the amount of data transmitted ? I've read about the zfec codec, but I'm not sure if we need to transmit all the chunks, or if we need to send a hash code along each chunk.

    I'm not a developer. I have no domain, nor wish to have one at the time. Rather I'm just a regular person who likes to upload photos to some photo related sites. My uploading process constantly gets interrupted by one of these annoying API errors. I get it at least two times, one when I click the page to upload, and also right after it has uploaded. It also pops up if I go to edit a photo or delete it. This interrupts my browsing experience until I click okay. I just want a fix for the annoying without having to register for a key. I tried before and it required a web domain. I rather not have to create a domain and go through such hoops just to fix this. Is there a solution for this problem that doesn't require registration? Another thing to note: I have used two computers. One has the message pop-up and the other doesn't. What is different about the two computers?

I have looked at few options but cannot find much info on these kind of apps.     Hi I have below pseudo code with throws an exception like this throw new MyException("Bad thing happened","com.stuff.errorCode"); where MyException extends Exception class. So the problem is when I try to get the message from MyException class by calling myEx.getMessage() it returns ???en_US.Bad thing happened??? instead of my original message i.e. Bad thing happened I have checked that MyException class doesn't overrides Throwable class's getMessage() behavior. Below is the how the call passes from MyException.getMessage() to Throwable.getMessage() public MyException(String msg, String sErrorCode){ super(msg); this.sErrorCode = sErrorCode; this.iSeverity = 0; } which then calls public Exception(String message) { super(message); } and finally public Throwable(String message) { fillInStackTrace(); detailMessage = message; } when I do a getMessage on myexception it calls Throwable's getMessage as below public String getMessage() { return detailMessage; } So ideally it should return the original message as I set when throwing the exception. What's the ???en_US thing ?

  • What caused the rails application crash?

    I'm sure someone can explain this. we have an application that has been in production for an year. recently we saw an increase in number of support requests for people having difficulty signing into the system. after scratching our head because we couldn't recreate the problem in development, we decided we'll switch on debug logger in production for a month. that was june 5th. application worked fine with the above change and we were waiting. then yesterday we noticed that the log files were getting huge so we made another change in production config.logger = Logger.new("#{RAILS_ROOT}/log/production.log", 50, 1048576) after this change, the application started crashing while processing a particular file. this particular line of code was RAILS_DEFAULT_LOGGER.info "Payment Information Request: ", request.inspect as you can see there was a comma instead of a plus sign. this piece of code was introduced in Mar. the question is this: why did the application fail now? if changing the debug level caused the application to process this line of code it should have started failing on june 5th! why today. please someone help us. Are we missing the obvious here? if you dont have an answer, at least let us know we aren't the only one that are bonkers.

I am on Windows, and I have tried system("C:\\Program Files (x86)\\PHP\\php.exe -l \"C:/Program Files (x86)/Apache/htdocs/a.php\"", $output); var_dump($output); without luck. The parameter -l should check for correct PHP syntax, and throw errors if some problems exist.   • PHP 5.4: disable warning "Creating default object from empty value"

    I want to migrate code from PHP 5.2 to 5.4. This worked fine so far except that all the code I use makes extensive use of just using an object with a member without any initialisation, like: $MyObject->MyMember = "Hello"; which results in the warning: "Creating default object from empty value" I know that the solution would be to use: $MyObject = new stdClass(); $MyObject->MyMember = "Hello"; but it would be A LOT OF WORK to change this in all my code, because I use this many times in different projects. I know, it's not good style, but unfortunately I'm not able to spend the next weeks adding this to all of my code. I know I could set the php error_reporting to not reporting warnings, but I want to be able to still get other warnings and notices. This warning doesn't seem to be effected by enable or disable E_STRICT at all. So is there a way to just disable this warning?!

    Hi, I have a DataGridView that is bound to a list of object. It has some columns that the user can edit. There are certain inputs that are not allowed for a row as a whole. How can I roll back if the user enters invalid inputs in some cell. I tried using the RowValidating event handler but it was not called after cell value has been changed. Even when I implemet CellValueChanged, I still cannot roll back the changes. Any idea how to accomplish this

    i'm trying to delete a registry from the Local_Machine\Software in the registry i made a key titles "DeleteMe" as a test to try it out but i cant get it to work iv tried multiple options and they all say that the "subkey" "subkeytree" and "value" do not exist BUT IT DOES! and i hope i'm using the right terminology here to its HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DeleteMe i want it and all the sub keys/values deleted.. (i hope key is the right terminology they look just like folders but when right clicked on they have the option "copy key name")

  • What is the standard way to parse floats at runtime in C?

    Hello, I have a scientific application for which I want to input initial values at runtime. I have an option to get them from the command line, or to get them from an input file. Either of these options are input to a generic parser that uses strtod to return a linked list of initial values for each simulation run. I either use the command-line argument or getline() to read the values. The question is, should I be rolling my own parser, or should I be using a parser-generator or some library? What is the standard method? This is the only data I will read at runtime, and everything else is set at compile time (except for output files and a few other totally simple things). Thanks, Joel

    So, I have a Scala class that looks like this: class TestClass { var value: Option[Int] = None } and I'm tackling a problem where I have a String value and I want to coerce it into that Option[Int] at runtime using reflection. To do so, I need to know that the field is an Option and that the type parameter of the Option is Int. What are my options for figuring out that the type of 'value' is Option[Int] at runtime (i.e. using reflection)? I have seen similar problems solved by annotating the field, e.g. @OptionType(Int.class). I'd prefer a solution that didn't require annotations on the reflection target if possible.

But as soon as the link is something like: http://www.shazam.com/music/web/track?id=41970148" it doesn't.
