I want to charge my users on a per project basis, e.g. they purchase a base version of my app to manage 3 projects for 300$ and can buy extensions for 100$ per project. Do you know of any good tools that support this type of licensing? Currently the project counter is buried in the database, but I am looking for something more reliable.

    Hi all, I am writing a small script by Python to connect and post content to my WordPress blog. It's pretty straightforward with https://github.com/maxcutler/python-wordpress-xmlrpc However, when i tried to input a HTML data, for example: <b>Hello</b> It appears exactly in the WordPress post (I watch it from the visual editor, and I need to re-format it by copying the data to HTML mode to have the expected result. I can create a text file with this information, but we need design time support as well, and it is not practical to have a connection string in every App.Config and Web.config file in the solution.     The linux kernel (and various other projects including git) have very nice makefiles that hide the giant cc calls into nice little acronyms. For example: gcc -O2 -o cool.o cool.c -llib gcc -O2 -o neat.o neat.c -llib would become: CC cool.c CC neat.c Which is really nice if you have a project with a large number of files and long compiler flags. I recall that this had to do with suppressing the default output and making a custom one. How do you do it?

  • Can't convert the PocketPC project in Visual Studio 2010 project format

    Just downloaded the Visual Studio 2010 Premium and realized that can't compile the project, made for PDA! The error log in output window says: Loading D:\Work...\PDA2.csproj ... D:\Work...\PDA2.csproj : error : The project file 'D:\Work...\PDA2.csproj' cannot be opened. The project type is not supported by this installation. I want to know if mobile development projects are supported in RTM version or they are deprecated?

    RDS uses the same set of parameters for all instance sizes and they don't seem to be that far from defaults (max_packet_size being too small etc.) Has anyone looked at them and reviewed them for how sensible they are, especially on relatively bigger instances?
