    I know this is a strange question but the idea is simple: I prefer C# syntax rather than C++: -Setters and getters directly inside a property -interfaces -foreach statement -possibility to declare an implicit cast operator other small things... What I really don't know is if is possible to import a c++ dll (expecially std libraries) in C# if I don't use any namespace (even System) The idea is just to write a program using everything that you will normally use in C++ (nothing from CLR so), even printf for example Thanks for any answer

    I want to create backup SQL tables using variable names. something along the lines of DECLARE @SQLTable Varchar(20) SET @SQLTable = 'SomeTableName' + ' ' + '20100526' SELECT * INTO quotename(@SQLTable) FROM SomeTableName but i'm getting Incorrect syntax near '@SQLTable'. It's just part of a small script for maintence so i don't have to worry about injections.

    I'm searching for algorithms to reduce the LOD of polylines, lines (looped or not) of nodes. In simple words, I want to take hi-resolution coastline data and be able to reduce its LOD hundred- or thousandfold to render it in small-scale. I found polygon reduction algorithms (but they require triangles) and Laplacian smoothing, but that doesn't seem exactly what I need.

Quick question - I am using this wonderful package: http://ooweb.sourceforge.net/index.html Unfortunately, the JAR is only available through Sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ooweb/files/ooweb/0.8.0/ooweb-0.8.0-bin.tar.gz/download Is there a way to get Ivy to download a specific JAR?   • [CakePHP] Can not Bake table model, controller and view

    I developed small CakePHP application, and now I want to add one more table (in fact, model/controller/view) into system, named notes. I had already created a table of course. But when I run command cake bake model, I do not get table Notes on the list. I can add it manually, but after that I get some errors when running cake bake controller and cake bake view. Can you give me some clue why I have those problems, and how to add that new model?

    Partial duplicate of this Notes: I already use JSLint extensively via a tool I wrote that scans in intervals my current project directory for recently updated/created .js files. It's drastically improved productivity for me and I doubt there is anything as good as JSLint for the price (it's free). That said, is there any analysis tool out there that can find repetitive or near-duplicate code blocks, the goal being to make it easier to find opportunities to consolidate large files or small/medium sized projects?

    Having no end of trouble including a large landscape pdf in a portrait .tex document (using pdflatex). When it does show up, only the leftmost end of the pdf shows up, now matter how small i make the scale. And i cant seem to get it to show in landscape mode at all...     I'm trying to setup a Pinax demo to work on and I've tried it under both Windows and FreeBSD with no luck...in both OS's, the virtual environment is created without a hitch, but then the following happens: For Windows, I can start the virtal environment and clone one of the sample projects as my starting point....however, running: manage.py syncdb Gives this error:Error: Can't import Pinax. Make sure you're in a virtual environment that has Pinax installed... For FreeBSD, when I try to start the environment: Badly placed ()'s What could be the problem?

  • eclipse 3.5 filter .git folder

    I'm using eclipse 3.5.2 and cannot seem to use "filter resources" to filter out .git folders in any of my projects for any of my perspectives: javascript, ruby, and php. I've tried adding the filter to plugin.xml as suggested on this blog but it is for eclipse 3.4 and doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?
