  I can write a code. In this I can take a Template Column & in this I build a RadCombobox. When it's Index changed I want to affect the below text box. Link the selected value of the Combo box is set as Text on Below TextBox. Combo Box & Text Box are different Controls of Different Template Column. I am having another button called "insert Values" and also 5 textboxes.   I'm attempting to use a Silverlight ComboBox with a static list of elements in a very simple binding scenario. The problem is the selected item is not returning me the Text of the TextBlock within the ComboBox and is instead returning "System.Windows.Controls.TextBlock". Everything works fine except when I try to open the file in gedit (linux), it says it can't identify the character encoding. Notepad (on windows) opens the file just fine. • Des decryption returns empty

  Hi, I am using Des.php for decryption. For few texts descript function returns Correct output in readable text format. For few... it just returns blank(empty.) After debugging in Des.php, i found that function _unpad($text) is returning false. The input $text is also still encoded. What could be the reason? Every time I get a match, I want to show, in some sort of control, the File it came from, and the whole text line. (aka streamreader.ReadLine() result). First I tried just putting it all in a read-only text box, but it doesn't have a scroll bar. What is the best form control to help me display this data neatly?

  I'm taking an intro course to UNIX and have a homework question that follows: How many files in the previous question are text files? A text file is any file containing human-readable content. (TRICK QUESTION. Run the file command on a file to see whether the file is a text file or a binary data file! If you simply count the number of files with the ".txt" extension you will get no points for this question.) The previous question simply asked how many regular files there were, which was easy to figure out by doing find . -type f | wc -l I'm just having trouble determining what "human readable content" is, since I'm assuming it means anything besides binary/assembly, but I thought that's what -type f displays. Maybe that's what the professor meant by saying "trick question"? This question has a follow up later that also asks "What text files contain the string "csc" in any mix of upper and lower case?". Obviously "text" is referring to more than just .txt files, but I need to figure out the first question to determine this!

• SQL indexes for "not equal" searches

  The SQL index allows to find quickly a string which matches my query. Now, I have to search in a big table the strings which do not match. But, here, "not equal" searches are really slower. Any way to make these "is not equal to" searches faster? Here is another example, to address Mark Byers' excellent remarks.
