    I'm trying to use a Method in my class 'Visual' to write a line of code into a JTextArea and it prints when I call it from 'Visual' but when I call it from 'Login' It only prints Text into the Console, not to the TextArea. private static Visual Visual; Visual.WriteLine("I'm sorry, your username or password is incorrect.     Specifically, it behaves inconsistently regarding text field focus. I have an LSUIElement popping up a status menu. Within that menu there is a view containing a text field. The text field needs to be selectable -- not necessarily selected by default, but whichever. When the status item is clicked, it triggers [NSApp activateIgnoringOtherApps:YES]; And it works, about half the time.* The other half the status menu seems to consider itself "in the background" and won't let me put focus on the text field even by clicking on it. (I know the status item click-trigger is firing b/c there's an NSLog on it.) Is this a bug in the way Apple handles these status items, or am I mishandling activateIgnoringOtherApps? *In fact, it seems to fail only the first time after another app is activated.     Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask this, I feel like the question is slightly off-topic even though it is also about programming. I am inputting todo-tasks for my WebDAV-project into my issue tracker, as I read through the relevant RFC's, and it would be nice to be able to add a link in my issue text directly to the relevant text, instead of just a link to the RFC file with a section number in the issue text, and then I have to use the find function to find it. For instance, a link like this: http://ieft.org/rfc2518.txt#1000 <-- line 1000 http://ieft.org/rfc2518.txt#9.8.3 <-- section 9.8.3 Neither of these two works, since they just post the full text files, so my question is this: Does anyone know of hosted versions of the RFC documents that contains such links?

    Hi, I'm taking some information from some variables I have already defined outside this function to create a html svg text box. Here is the function which is causing me trouble: RenderTextBox:function() { alert('this.x: ' + this.x); alert('this.y: ' + this.y); this.textBox = paper.text(this.x, this.y, this.htmlTextBox); } The alerts works prefectly, and prompt me with the values expected. However, the final line which is supposed to create the text box puts them nowhere to be seen. Does anybody know why? If I replace 'this.x, this.y..' with numerical values in the final line of the function, the text box is placed correctly. It's only when I use the 'this.x' and 'this.y' that I have issues.

    Hello, I got problem in cocos2D application. I have a sprite and text in one screen. The text should be able to move up/down when we swipe. And when we select on the sprite it should take to next scene. So, both should have the istouchEnabled to YES. But text should take the touchesMoved and sprite should take touchesEnded. But my problem is either one is working. If am able to swipe the text, I am not able to select the sprite.( touchesEnded for sprite is not called). Please guide me, I am stuck here.
