• NullPointerException when trying to connect to web service using kSoap method Android

  My web service should be returning an integer, but every time i run the code i get the NullPointerException error. • Spring, Jersey and Viewable JSP Integration

  I'm trying to integrate Spring 3.0.5 with Jersey 1.4. I seem to have everything working, but whenever I try and return a Viewable that points to a JSP, I get a 404 error. However, now that I have to use the SpringServlet to get spring integration, I'm at a loss for how to access resources, since I can't use the filter above. • Outlook Marking Email as Junk Email

  I know. I sound like a spammer but these emails are completely legitimate email confirmations for people that have signed up for an account on this website we developed. These emails all make it through to various mail providers (gmail, yahoo, aol, hotmail/live) but they always get directed into the Outlook Junk Email folder. I am have tried using Zend Framework mail, PEAR Mail and phpMailer. All of those methods result in the same thing happening. This seemed to start happening after Microsoft released their update to the Outlook Junk Email filter in January of this year. This is the most basic test we could run and the above generated email gets dumped into the Outlook Junk Email folder. We have reverse DNS on the mail server and it matches the forward DNS, SPF and DKIM are set up and there is nothing "spammy" with the above content. Can anybody see something with the above code that could cause Outlook to mark it as Junk? Thanks!

  I'm trying to develop a simple Android app, fixed in landscape mode. I am using Eclipse 1.3, compiling for Android SDK version 7 (OS version 2.1). When I try to run it in the emulator, it crashes on boot. (It gets as far as the unlock slider, but shortly after that when trying to launch the application itself, I get "The application Failtest (process com.wcs.failtest) has stopped unexpectedly.   I'm trying to test that I'm throwing an exception when appropriate. In my test class I have a method similar to the following: public void testParseException() { try { ClientEntitySingleton.getInstance(); fail("should have thrown exception."); } catch (RuntimeException re) { assertEquals( "<exception message>", re.getMessage()); } } This works fine (green bar) whenever I run that single unitTest class. However, when I add that test to a testSuite, I get a red bar Unit test failure reported on the exception. One more thing... it works in the testSuite, if it's the first test in the suite. Actually, I'm doing two of these tests and just figured out that if I make them the first two tests in the suite, all is good, but I get this failure if a "regular" test precedes it. So I have a work-around, but no real answer. Any ideas? • CDI SessionScoped Bean instance remains unchanged when login with different user

  I've been looking for the workaround of this problem for rather plenty of time and no result, so I ask question here. Simply speaking, I'm using a CDI SessionScoped Bean User in my project to manage user information and display them on jsf pages. Also container-managed j_security_check is used to resolve authentication issue. Everything is fine if first logout with session.invalidate() and then login in the same browser tab with a different user. But when I tried to directly login (through login.jsf) with a new user without logout beforehand, I found the user information remaining unchanged. I debugged and found the User bean, as well as the HttpSession instance, always remaining the same if login with different users in the same browser, as long as session.invalidate() not invoked. We can see that the instance(1st row) the same while session id(2nd row) different. Seems that session object is reused to contain different session id and CDI framework manages session bean life cycle in accordance with the session object only(?). I'm wondering whether there could be only one server-side session object within the same browser unless invalidated? Since I'm adopting j_security_check I fancy intercepting it and invalidating old session is not so easy. So is it possible to accomplish the goal without altering the CDI+JSF+j_security_check design that one can relogin with different account in the same or different tab within the same browser? Really look forward for your response. More info: Glassfish v3.1 is my appserver.

  I have a database (for tracking email statistics) that has grown to hundreds of megabytes, and I've been looking for ways to reduce it. It seems that the main reason for the large file size is that the same strings tend to be repeated in thousands of rows. The corresponding cell in the EmailInfo table contains an orphaned ToAddrRef value. If you do the INSERTs one at a time, you'll see that Alice's ID in the AddressLookup table changes! It appears that this behavior is documented: An ON CONFLICT clause may be specified as part of an UPDATE or INSERT action within the body of the trigger. However if an ON CONFLICT clause is specified as part of the statement causing the trigger to fire, then conflict handling policy of the outer statement is used instead. So the "REPLACE" in the top-level "INSERT OR REPLACE" statement is overriding the critical "INSERT OR IGNORE" in the trigger program. Is there a way I can make it work the way that I wanted?

• NO FBML is working in iframe in facebook using PHP (ie or ff or anywhere else!)

  I have tried for three days now and gotten nowhere on this.... I absolutely can not get any "fb:" code to render anything! I've tried the exact code in the sandbox and it works fine. I've read through every search result I could find and gotten nowhere... I'm using a standard xd_receiver page, and in the body there's this line: < script src="http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/XdCommReceiver.js" type="text/javascript"></script> Here's my index page.   Let me describe my question - I have a Java application - Hibernate as the DB interfacing layer over MySQL. I get the communications link failure error in my application. The occurence of this error is a very specific case. I get this error , When I leave mysql server unattended for more than approximately 6 hours (i.e. when there are no queries issued to MySQL for more than approximately 6 hours). But these values dont seem to have had an effect. Is this the correct approach to fixing this? If not, what is the right way to get over this? • Phonegap web view thinks device screen taller than it is - results in offscreen tabbar

  I have a jQTouch application loaded via server, so all I need to do is display the webpage full screen in PhoneGap for a faux-Native app. Unfortunatley each solution I've tried in PhoneGap has an issue: it thinks the screen size is taller than it is. This resuls in the tabbar that is pinned to the bottom being permantly offscreen and there fore unusable. You should be able to recreate this with my code below and going to the iTabbar online demo. Any thoughts on how to correct this issue? For background, going to the app page in iOS safari works fine, as well as saving the page to the home screen. In both cases the webview stops at the bottom of the screen and the tabbar is therefore viewable. Also, I'm using build.phonegap.com to compile (I'm not compiling locally) I've tried two methods: load the childBrowser plugin and call up the page (with navbar hidden via options) set the following config.xml parameter to prevent phonegap from switching to Safari, and then just load the link (preferable as it's cleaner in my mind. • How to store array of NSManagedObjects in an NSManagedObject

  I am loading my app with a property list of data from a web site. This property list file contains an NSArray of NSDictionaries which itself contains an NSArray of NSDictionaries. Basically, I'm trying to load a tableView of restaurant menu categories each of which contains menu items. My property list file is fine. I am able to load the file and loop through the nodes structure creating NSEntityDescriptions and am able to save to Core Data. Everything works fine and expectedly except that in my menu category managed object, I have an NSArray of menu items for that category. Later on, when I fetch the categories, the pointers to the menu items in a category is lost and I get all the menu items. Am I suppose to be using predicates or does Core Data keep track of my object graph for me? Can anyone look at how I am loading Core Data and point out the flaw in my logic? I'm pretty good with either SQL and OOP by themselves, but am a little bewildered by ORM. I thought that I should just be able to use aggregation in my managed objects and that the framework would keep track of the pointers for me, but apparently not. • Custom CSS menu, "Active" tab remains on 'Home' not the actual page

  As far as I can tell my Exchange 2010 Mailbox and Client Access server is working fine except for Outlook Anywhere. I fired up the Exchange Connectivity Tester and ran it against my server and I get this report: Part 5 Testing HTTP Authentication Methods for URL https://mail.contoso.com/rpc/rpcproxy.dll?server6.corp.contoso.com:6002. The HTTP authentication test failed. Additional details: A Web exception occurred because an HTTP 503 - ServiceUnavailable response was received from Unknown. When I do a search for "ServiceUnavailable response was received from Unknown." I get only a couple of relevant results, including a 22k-view Exchange Forum thread, but none of the solutions discussed help. There is nothing of relevance in the server's Event Log. mail.contoso.com is the public domain name of the CAS/MB/HT server. server6.corp.contoso.com is the internal domain name of the server.

• How do I enable ciphers for NSS?

  I am trying to use curl built with NSS (not built with OpenSSL) on Fedora 14 to connect to a webpage over https. The server to which I am connecting (example.com) uses the RC4-SHA cipher for its SSL. Whenever I try to connect to example.com, I get the NSS error SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP. I can connect via curl on this computer to example-2.com which has the DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA cipher. I can connect to example.com from a different computer that has curl built with OpenSSL. How do I find out which ciphers are enabled on NSS and how do I enable the RC4-SHA cipher on NSS?

• Firefox 3.6 Kiosk mode

  I've developed a FF 3.6+ only web app that needs to run in kiosk mode. I has assumed that since nearly every other browser has a built in kiosk switch FF would have this too. I haven't been able to find this. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Command_line_arguments does not have a kiosk mode listed. R-Kiosk doesn't work in FF 3.6. Apparently their is a new "experimental" version of R-Kiosk (v0.8.0) but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know of anyway to put Firefox in kiosk mode? I'd be especially great if the solution forced full screen, hid all toolbars and context menus, disables (Ctrl+) Alt + * combos, and disables "Windows Key" + * combos.
