• Can I use a previous version of iText(Sharp) under the LGPL?

  I'd like to use iTextSharp for PDF manipulation. I need it to run under medium trust (webserver) and to be free of charge (sice this is a very small project), therefore there is not much competition. Unfortunately, since I need it for a commercial project, I cannot the AGPL introduced with version 5.0. Do you know if I may use the 4.x versions using the LGPL? Or is their license automatically updated to the APGL?

  I am trying to work out with ORM tool to move over to and have narrowed it down to two candidates. nHibernate or LLBLGen Pro Please can you guys give me pros and cons in using both these tools especially if you have experience in both. Also they generate sync SQL scripts when run from command line. What I need is an output as a comprehensive report ( XML , HTML ) suitable for parsing so that I would be able to show similar diff grid in my application ( updated old/new values for each column , added - all values for row , deleted - all values for row and etc... ) .

  Not sure if yall can help this time, as I'm just using this particular program not coding with it... I downloaded Deluge, a free torrent app, and it requires GTK2 Runtime which I've also installed. Unfortunately, on my English WinXP with East Asian Language support Deluge sets itself to Chinese menus and has no option to alter the language. A bit of poking around on the internet suggests this is due to GTK2 selecting the wrong default language. Does anyone know how I can override this?

• Move Physical Windows Server 2008 into a Hyper-V VM

  Hello, I'd like to import a real Windows Server 2008 server as a Hyper-V Virtual Server on another Windows Server 2008 instance. Anyone have any idea how to do this? I'm looking at the System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 but it doesn't seem to import Windows Server 2008 - nor is it free. Is there some other workaround (i.e. import the image into VMWare first, then convert to Hyper-V)? Please help. Regards, Randall
