  • Is it possible to plot a single density over a discrete variable?

    The x-axis is time broken up into time intervals. There is an interval column in the data frame that specifies the time for each row. Plotting a histogram or line using geom_histogram and geom_freqpoly works great, but I'd like to use geom_density to get a filled area. Perhaps there is a better way to achieve this. Right now, if I use geom_density, curves are created for each discrete factor level instead of smoothing over all of them.

    Hey all, what would be best practice for clipping the bottom borders of a Bitmap? Just manipulate the Bitmap itself or overlay an alpha mask drawable or ...? The whole story: I've a Listview which looks like the iPhone's grouped UITableView style. I would like to display a Bitmap in the last row, but for now the Bitmap overlaps my custom background drawable of the Listview cell. Thx in advance!

  • In MS Access form, how to color background of selected record?

    I have a somewhat complicated looking Access Form with a continuous display (meaning multiple records are shown at once). I'd like to change the background color of the selected record only so the end-user can easily tell which record they are on. I'm thinking of perhaps a conditional format or maybe something like this: Private Sub Detail_HasFocus() Detail.BackColor(me.color)=vbBlue End Sub and something similar for when that row loses focus. This code snippet obviously won't work, but it's the kind of code I'd like to achieve.

Im assuming a good way of doing this is to grab the id = 1 row and split its values into separate rows in a new view.   • Memory Allocation increases in didSelectRowAtIndexPath

    Hello, I'm testing my App and in a very simple view, each time a tap on a UITableView row, my allocation overall bytes get higher and higher and never go downs. I don't have any special code there, so I created a new project from scratch with a very simple view, force one section and just three rows. In the didSelectRowAtIndexPath code do nothing, and fire it with instruments and memory allocation and, the memory goes up with every cell selection ...     We have a java app which uses Java Web Start. The jnlp file is configured with [j2se version="1.5+"]. So if JRE 1.5 and 1.6 are installed, the app is run on 1.6. Now, we have requirement where the app should be restricted to run only within the range - JRE 1.5.0_07 through JRE 1.5.0_17 [j2se version="1.5*"] will not work - it will always launch the app with the latest jre from 1.5 family. I can request an exact product version by including the href attribute. [j2se version="1.5.0_14" href="http://java.sun.com/products/autodl/j2se"/] But how do I specify a specific range of JREs in the jnlp file so that JWS picks up a JRE from that range only? So if 1.5.0_07, 1.5.0_17 and JRE 6 are installed, it should run the app on 1.5.0_17. Is there a good way to accomplish this?
