  hello, i want to add in my settings.py a declaration like: LOGIN_REDIRECT_URL='^private_profile/(?P<id>\d+)/$' #or LOGIN_REDIRECT_URL='/accounts/private_profile/id/' so that when the user with the id 1, for example,is logging in, he will be redirected to LOGIN_REDIRECT_URL='/accounts/private_profile/1/' but both alternatives, LOGIN_REDIRECT_URL='^private_profile/(?P<id>\d+)/$' #or LOGIN_REDIRECT_URL='/accounts/private_profile/id/' are wrong, because in my browser i don't see the current user id, where am i wrong? • Downloading file with Python results in only 4.1kB

  I'm using simple code: import urllib2 response = urllib2.urlopen("http://www.mysite.com/getfile/4355") output = open('myfile.zip','wb') output.write(response.read()) output.close() The web-server is IIS + ASP.NET MVC 4 It returns FileResult wrapping a zip-file with "application/octet-stream" content-type. The problem is that downloaded zip file is broken - only 4.1kB size, where it must be 24kB. When I type the url adress in web-browser directly - it downloads and opens fine. Could you please, suggest, what's wrong with my Python code?

I am developing some plugins for Outlook using C# and this is a crucial part for both plugins.   Hi, I am trying to call an Activity from another instance of the activity. The code is supposed to be a simple file browser (part of a larger application). I am using a ListActivity, and when an item (such as a folder) is selected, it is supposed to open it up in the new Activity. I have a feeling it is a problem with the AndroidManifest (which just has the basic tag). Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve

  I follow this tutorial here to create RESTful web service on Netbean 6.8. However, when I right click on the project node and select Test RESTful Web Service, the browser pop up, and supposedly my project would be listed on the left, and supposedly I would be able to select it, and test against various function that listed on the right. However, I dont see any of that. Any idea why?

  Hi , i am doing one small application , wheich have login functionality, in the user table am maintaining the AVAILABLE status for the logged USER, example : i have three user called foo1,foo2,foo3 , When foo1 logged then his AVAILABLE STATUS WILL UPDATE AS 1 IN THE USERTABLE, if he logged out then his AVAILABLE STATUS goes to 0, like the foo2, and foo3 , for this available status flasg , amsimply using the update operation ..no other big functionality , Now What i want is, If somthing happened when user logged in , then i want to make the available status as 0, Somthing means , I WANT TO CHANGE THE AVAILABLE STATUS TO 0 , WHEN system CRASH OR browser crash Thanks Bharanikumar

• PHP, Ajax, and the lifespan of the request

  I was wondering about the lifespan of a PHP script when called via Ajax. Assume that there is a long-running (i.e. 30 seconds) PHP script on a server and that page is loaded via Ajax. Before the script completes, the user closes the browser. Does the script continue running to completion, is it terminated, or is this a function of the server itself (I'm running Apache fwiw).   yesterday I noticed the possibility to integrate Fragments in older API Levels through the Compatibility package, but thats not really essential for the question. :) I have a Button with an OnClickListener Button button = (Button) findViewById(R.id.button); button.setOnClickListener(new OnClickListener() { @Override public void onClick(View v) { doSomething(); button.setPressed(true); } }); Because of the actual clicking, it is shown as pressed and after releasing the click, the button state is not pressed and stays that way. Is there a simple way that keeps the button state pressed after releasing? First thing I can think of would be some sort of timer, but that seems unreasonable.

The correct 404 status code is sent, but the browser shows a blank page and the access log shows "GET /invalid-url/ HTTP/1.1" 404 - Can anyone tell me how to make ErrorDocument work with Apache URL rewrites?
