  I'm struggling to find a query which will return members who aren't friends of a certain member. Here is the layout of my tables: member_login: MemberID, email, password member_info: memberID, first_name, last_name member_friends: friendID, req_member, req_date, app_member, app_date, date_deactivated I tried to use NOT IN to run a query that would return the opposite of friends but nothing I try seems to be working. • How can I create a new email account in Java?

  I am able to send and receive emails from my JSPs and associated Java code using the Java Mail API (javax.mail.*). Now I would like to create a new POP3 email account programmatically when a user registers for my site. I've found surprisingly little information about this with web searches. I would think it would be a somewhat common problem. It appears that the Java Mail API does not provide any assistance in this area. I have many email accounts available under my godaddy account, and to manually create an account, I just go to the godaddy email control panel, click Add, and specify the email address and password. This is exactly what I would like to do via a Java program. Any ideas?

  Situation: I have a "dumb" Javascript frontend that can contact some kind of SSO middleware (MW). The MW can obtain sessions by issuing requests that contain authentication credentials (username, password). I.e. the session will be created for a certain user. My frontend needs to "restart" the session to gain the user's permissions to the target system. For that i need a valid session cookie. The target system is not under my control (could be a more or less public WFS, WMS, etc.), so i cannot add any SSO mechanism to it. Question: Is it possible to "steal" a Session forging a request which URL contains a valid session ID in the jsessionid parameter? Goal : Issue such a request to a Servlet and make it respond with a Set-Cookie header that contains the same id. That way the frontend joins the session and may do whatever the user, which was used to create the session, is able to do.

  hi, I just started working with ASP.Net MVC 2. I created a new ASP.Net MVC application and created one vehicle controler with a database table connected with LINQ. Then created forms authentication mechanism for the application and tried to use the uri instead of cookies it was working smoothly but when i submit the form by creating a "Create" view from the controler using the utility it just dont work. The autherization got failed and asking to enter the user name and password again.I had created the authorization mechanism by adding Authorise attribute to the Controller so as to get authorized for all the actions. namespace MVCNEW.Controllers { [Authorize] public class VehicleController : Controller { But if i use the cookies instead of uri it works fine. • SVN Mac oSX issue - permissions?

  Hello there, /Volumes/sites is a connection to a samba share that hosts some of our sites. We authorise using a username & password that is the same user/pass to log onto the mac. When committing, (or even doing a cleanup) from the Mac Client side using the svn command line tool or SCPlugin, this error occurs: Commit succeeded, but other errors follow: Error bumping revisions post-commit (details follow): In directory '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html' Error processing command 'committed' in '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html' Error replacing text-base of 'index.php' Can't move '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html/.svn/tmp/text-base/index.php.svn-base' to '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html/.svn/text-base/index.php.svn-base': Operation not permitted Any ideas? I think it's to do with permissions on the mac side not being able to move files around on the samba share. Apologies if my question is kinda vague so any extra information I can give please shout.   I signed up for github and notice the ssh key option which looked interesting. I originally expected something like an ssl key (name, co name, etc). After going through it i notice i only put a password and it is always myuser@comp-name (this is windows). Why? I thought it was a user/pass id and i can create separate keys for separate purpose for privacy reasons. Now i see i am required to use one to create a repository. Also i see something about a 'private key file' when looking at options. What exactly is an SSH Key and how can i create a separate user without creating a separate login in windows.

• Not Seeing Ajax Requests In Firebug If Header Has Been Modified

  Hey braintrust, I'm making an ajax call using jQuery's library to an api, which requires a username and password encoded to base64 be added to the header. here's a basic example: $.ajax({ type: "GET", contentType: 'application/json', beforeSend:function(xhr){ xhr.setRequestHeader("Authentication", "Basic " + base64EncodedValue); } url: 'https://api.company.com/uri/', complete: function(result) { alert(result); } }); But when this fires off, I get a black alert box, so it doesn't appear as if something is coming back. There is no log in the Firebug console that a get ajax request was done. However, if I remove the beforeSend option, I do see the ajax request get logged, but the request gets back a 'not authorized', so it definitely hit the right place. Any ideas on why it's not showing up in Firebug so I can verify the headers are being sent out correctly?

• jQuery Sortable + Droppable z-index problem

  I am having a probelm with the z-index of my sortable object not being above my droppable. If you visit http://clareshilland.unknowndomain.co.uk/. Press Ctrl + L to bring up the login screen. Enter the username clare and the password shilland. It will then load in the admin bar and if you click manage gallery. A pop down thumbnail view will appear with all the photos from that gallery. The issue is that when you drag the 'polaroids' from the grid to the delete area they are under the delete area. I tried putting the delete area inside the same div as the grid but it makes no difference, I just don't know what to do at this point so any help would be a massive help!

Let's say that you'll store the passwords os UTF-8. Now the question is how you should normalize the Unicode data? You had to be sure that you'll be able to compare it. You need to be sure that when the next Unicode standard will be released it will not invalidate your password verification.   I have a bog-standard login form - an email text field, a password field and a submit button on an AIR project that's using HTML/jQuery. When I hit Enter on the form, the entire form's contents vanish, but the form isn't submitted. Does anyone know if this is a Webkit issue (Adobe AIR uses Webkit for HTML), or if I've bunged things up? I tried: $('.input').keypress(function(e){ if(e.which == 13){ $('form#login').submit(); } }); But that neither stopped the clearing behavior, or submitted the form. There's no action associated with the form - could that be the issue? Can I put a javascript function in the action?

• How can I authenticate when using the Bugzilla Perl API in a script?

  Working from the Bugzilla API, I've written a quick Perl script to clone a Bugzilla Product (recreating all the Components under their new Product). The Bugzilla Perl API is quite easy to use from the command line. I could have just worked on the database directly, but I wanted a longer-term solution. Another option was the webservice, but I thought I'd try using the API directly this time. The one problem I'm running into is authenticating as my Bz admin user so I can create the new components. Looking at Bugzilla's Bugzilla.pm file, I see that they just run login() from a Bugzilla::Auth object. I'm not sure how to get the username and password in there. I suppose I could just add the script to the Bugzilla admin interface... Can any of you point me in the right direction?

  Hi all, I'm trying to use the StoreKit API in OS3.0 for the iphone to do in app purchase. However, I'm getting the following error when trying to purchase something in the SANDBOX ENVIRONMENT. The item you tried to buy is no longer available [Environment: Sandbox] Here's the code I use to do the payments: SKPayment* payment = [SKPayment paymentWithProductIdentifier:model.productId]; [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] addPayment:payment]; I've also queried storekit for the list of available products and that seems to work just fine returning the same product identifiers that I'm now using to purchase the item. I have all the products setup in iTunes Connect and created a test user. Before debugging the app I signed out of the store in the settings menu and entered my test account and password when debugging my own app. What could be going on here?

• Php deliberately awkward?

  I'm trying to create a login process (as people who have answered my previous question will know) But it seems impossible to create one process that will work with a desktop app and a standard website. Instead I have the login function in Usermanagement.php (which is a class, icyntk) but then in another php file (api/login.php) I have: <?php require_once '../usermanagement.php'; $m = new usermanage(); echo $m->login($_POST['username'], $_POST['password']); ?> And then I will still need to make another login.php just to be used with the login form on the website. As I can't see anyway to get the result (the echo) of the api/login.php script from the index.php file (where the login form is, it only has HTML in though) Is there anyway I can simplify this so I only need one login.php?

• jQuery .html works but .load causes some weird results.

  Hello, I am currently working on some jQuery - it works perfectly when I uses .html but when I changed the method to .load and attempt to load a page in breaks the jquery on the rest of the page. • Accessing a module's action rendered output

  Hi. I'm writing an "Account" module which should take care of everything about accounts: registration, login/logout, user administration, password recovery, account activation, etc. So I thought it would be best to reuse whatever the module's DefaultController::actionRegister() generates to show on the main page. So my question is: how to create a new "sub request" (similar to CController::forward()) from any controller (either SiteController, read: from views/layouts/main.php, or another controller, eventually of another submodule) to a given module/controller/action? I've tried with $this-forward() from within my application layout without success: it shows a blank page, no error whatsoever. Thanks

• how to automate / script processes like signups .

  which is the best tool for this - Automation of signup process to a website , e.g an email signup The tool should be able to take data from an external data file like an excel of csv file this data file would contain data such as first name , last name , username, password etc. basic data required during an email signup . I am imagining the data file to contain of each field in a seperate column and each row to contain data for different registration / user. At the places where manual intervention is required like image verification etc. the tool should be able to pause the script until manual bit is done then continue with the script. What is the best way to do this - an automation tool , or any scripting language - please suggest .
