I made two outlets : wnd - main window display - the text box Then I've tried using this code: [wnd setTitle:[display value]]; Unfortuanately it didn't work ...     Hi, I have a contact css tab on my left side on my website, I have more then 30 pages and I don't wantto manually alter all those pages later when data had changed. Does anyone knows a sollution so I only have to alter 1 file to have all pages edited? Perhaps in javascript?   • How can one cache bust files referenced in a LESS file when using Symfony2, Twig, and Assetic?

    I have a web site built on Symfony2 which uses twig templates, LESS, and assetic. In order to cache bust assets, I'm simply using this in my config.yml: framework: templating: engines: ['twig'] assets_version: 'asset-version-here' And then I use the asset() function to load the asset and the cache busting is handled for me. However, the concern I have is when I load my LESS (css) file, there are references to other files, and I would like to know how these files can be cache busted as well. Example: .someSelector { background:url('../images/filename.png'); } How can I make sure that the referenced file, filename.png is cache busted upon deployment? The asset files referenced in Twig using asset() are cache busted automatically upon deployment (I use a deployment script hook that updates the assets_version in the framework's config), but those referenced in a stylesheet are not. How can I do this?

  • How can I redirect all traffic from one domain to another with an .htaccess file?

    Say I have a subdomain xxx.yyy.com running Apache. The files are stored in /home/someone/public_html/xxx. What I want to do is redirect all requests to a domain name zzz.com which is using the same location for its files. (In other words, xxx.yyy.com and zzz.com are aliases for each other) I just want people accessing zzz.com, so if someone goes to xxx.yyy.com they should be redirected to zzz.com. Can this easily be done with a rewrite rule in an .htaccess file?

  • Algorithm: Determine shape of two sectors delineated by an arbitrary path, and then fill one.

    NOTE: This is a challenging problem for anybody who likes logic problems, etc. Consider a rectangular two-dimensional grid of height H and width W. Every space on the grid has a value, either 0 1 or 2. Initially, every space on the grid is a 0, except for the spaces along each of the four edges, which are initially a 2. Then consider an arbitrary path of adjacent (horizontally or vertically) grid spaces. The path begins on a 2 and ends on a different 2. Every space along the path is a 1. The path divides the grid into two "sectors" of 0 spaces. There is an object that rests on an unspecified 0 space. The "sector" that does NOT contain the object must be filled completely with 2. Define an algorithm that determines the spaces that must become 2 from 0, given an array (list) of values (0, 1, or 2) that correspond to the values in the grid, going from top to bottom and then from left to right. In other words, the element at index 0 in the array contains the value of the top-left space in the grid (initially a 2). The element at index 1 contains the value of the space in the grid that is in the left column, second from the top, and so forth. The element at index H contains the value of the space in the grid that is in the top row but second from the left, and so forth. Once the algorithm finishes and the empty "sector" is filled completely with 2s, the SAME algorithm must be sufficient to do the same process again. The second (and on) time, the path is still drawn from a 2 to a different 2, across spaces of 0, but the "grid" is smaller because the 2s that are surrounded by other 2s cannot be touched by the path (since the path is along spaces of 0). I thank whomever is able to figure this out for me, very very much. This does not have to be in a particular programming language; in fact, pseudo-code or just English is sufficient. Thanks again! The function is supposed to display two parameters that have certain values, both of which point to the same structure. I know that I should declare test_2 as well, like this : trial test,test_2; But what about passing the address in the function ? I do not need to edit it right ? trialtest(&test); --- This will remain the same ? Actually I have the latest version from the Repository (eg revision 98). After Checkout I made some changes to the file and now I want to get rid of those local changes and get the copy from the repository (which is still at revision 98). How can i do this on Linux machine???

    Disclaimer: JS novice I have a JS widget that depends on JQuery. The widget's going to be embedded in a 3rd party site but I figure out how to avoid declaring dependency on jquery on the widget-hosting page: 3rd party's page: <head> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://mydomain/mywidget.js"></script> </head> mywidget.js jQuery(document).ready(function() { //do stuff }); I'd rather not include jquery.js in the 3d party page but express the dependency inside mywidget.js (so i can change this dependency or add/remove others w/o having to update the widget-hosting page) I tried adding: var script = document.createElement('script'); script.src = 'http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.js'; script.type = 'text/javascript'; document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(script); to the top of mywidget.js but that didn't work - jquery.js did load on page load but "jQuery" was not recognized. What did work was concatenating jquery.js and mywidget.js into a single .js file. But that seems kind of lame - is there no equivalent to? import com.jquery.*; thanks!

  • Excel macro to change external data query connections - e.g. point from one database to another

    I'm looking for a macro/vbs to update all the external data query connections to point at a different server or database. This is a pain to do manually and in versions of Excel before 2007 it sometimes seems impossible to do manually. Anyone have a sample? I see there are different types of connections 'OLEDB' and 'ODBC', so I guess I need to deal with different formats of connection strings?

  • Are application servers necessary? Advantages of using one? (And other JEE questions)

    Apologies for the long question.. there seems to be other similar questions on here but none really clear up my confusion. I'd be really grateful if someone could confirm or correct my understanding: Java Enterprise Edition is a set of APIs for building enterprise applications, which take away the burden of developing parts of the system that aren't actually features of the application you are trying to build (i.e. messaging, transactions etc). To do this, you can use an application server, which implements these APIs. So you could use JBoss, Glassfish, WebSphere, WebLogic etc which would provide your application with these enterprise services. However, there are many other implementations of these individual services available such as ActiveMQ for messaging, Hibernate for persistence, OpenEJB etc. You can download these implementations as Java libraries and include them in your application, and use the services they provide in a similar way to using the services provided by an application server. So if my understanding is correct, my questions are: I've read a lot of places that application servers are necessary for JEE features like EJB, but can't you just use an implementation such as OpenEJB and not need an application server at all? Are there any features that an application server provides which you cannot get from another source? Why would/wouldn't I choose an application server over a custom stack such as Tomcat, OpenEJB, ActiveMQ, and Hibernate? Is Spring a complete alternative to JEE? Does it ever require an application server or always just a servlet container? Why would someone choose Spring over JEE? Any help would be much appreciated!

  • Flash content in eLearning: one SWF vs. many?

    I am designing a Flash-based language course, and I am not sure which architecture I have to choose. The content won't be uploaded to the Internet, it will be used only locally. Possible architectures: 1) A single SWF with all the data stored internally - it seems a rather clumsy and inefficient way (or it's not?). 2) To make a Flash-based interface, and to keep the data saved in a MySQL database. It presumably allows to organize the content better, avoiding self-repetitions. The problem is that the language teacher (who is not an IT specialist) will have to install additional software to handle MySQL. 3) To make a number of separate SWF files, and to make a simple HTML-file with the index. (and some other solutions I didn't think of) Which is the right architecture, most usable for the teacher and most elegant from the IT point of view?
