• Listener error not connecting

  I have two database running on Port No : 1521. When i m connecting to ORCL db it get's connected, but when i try to connect to another DB it gives me following error. ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor. • I am Unable to Post Xml to Linkedin Share API

  I am using Delphi 2010, with Indy 10.5.8(svn version) and oAuth.pas from chuckbeasley. I am able to collect token with app key and App secret, authorize token with a web page and Access the final token. Now I have to post a status with Linkedin’s Share API. I am getting a unauthorized response. My request and responses are giving bellow. • How to share data between SSRS Security and Data Processing extension?

  I've spent a lot of time trying to solve the issue pointed in title and have no found a solution yet. I use MS SSRS 2012 with custom Security (based on Form Authentication and ClaimsPrincipal) and Data Processing extensions. In Data extension level I need to apply filter programmatically based on one of the claim which I have access in Security extension level only. Here is the problem: I do know how to pass the claim from Security to Data Processing extension code... What I've tried: IAuthenticationExtension.LogonUser(string userName, string password, string authority) { ... ClaimsPrincipal claimsPrincipal = CreateClaimsPrincipal(...); Thread.CurrentPrincipal = claimsPrincipal; HttpContext.Current.User = claimsPrincipal; ... }; But it doesn't work. It seems SSRS overrides it within either GenericPrincipal or FormsIdentity internally. The possible workaround I'm thinking about (but haven't checked it yet): 1. Create HttpModule which will create HttpContext with all required information (minus: will be invoke getting claims each time - huge operation) 2. Write to custom SQL table to store logged users information which is required for Data extension and then read it 3. try somehow to append to cookies due to LogOn and then read each time on IAuthenticationExtension.GetUserInfo and fill HttpContext None of them seems to be a good solution. I would be grateful for any help/advise/comments.

  I am testing PayPal payments through Sandbox. So what do I do: Make a payment from my Android device, using SDK AppID: "APP-80W284485P519543T". Receive RESULT_OK in applicationResult and receive response on server side through IPN service. Now I am taking all responce from IPN and send it to paypal verification sandbox server to verify payment. It cat return (VERIFIED or INVALID). But the problem is that it is return INVALID. So whats can be the problem? What I am doing wrong? Thanks. • C# Multi CheckboxList update inserts checked records but doesn't delete unchecked records

  I have a multi checkboxlist on a formview. Both use queries in a tableadapter. I'm using VS 2012. When the user updates the form, I use the following code to update the checkbox data. If a user checks a new box, a new record is inserted correctly, however if the user unchecks a box the existing record is not deleted. The delete query works fine if I run it from the query builder in the table adapter, it's reaching the expected line in the code correctly, all values are correct and I receive no errors. I use a similar query to delete records when the form level data is deleted which works fine. The very last line is the one that doesn't work.   I'm attempting to create a Portable Class Library in Visual Studio 2012 to be used for a Windows 8 Store app and a Windows Phone 8 app. I'm getting the following error: 'await' requires that the type 'Windows.Foundation.IAsyncOperation' have a suitable GetAwaiter method. Are you missing a using directive for 'System'? At this line of code: StorageFolder guidesInstallFolder = await Package.Current.InstalledLocation.GetFolderAsync(guidesFolder); My Portable Class Library is targeted at .NET Framework 4.5, Windows Phone 8 and .NET for Windows Store apps. I don't get this error for this line of code in a pure Windows Phone 8 project, and I don't get it in a Windows Store app either so I don't understand why it won't work in my PCL. The GetAwaiter is an extension method in the class WindowsRuntimeSystemExtensions which is in System.Runtime.WindowsRuntime.dll. Using the Object Browser I can see this dll is available in the .NET for Windows Store apps component set and in the Windows Phone 8 component set but not in the .NET Portable Subset. I just don't understand why it wouldn't be in the Portable Subset if it's available in both my targeted platforms.

• What is the best database structure for this scenario?

  I have a database that is holding real estate MLS (Multiple Listing Service) data. Currently, I have a single table that holds all the listing attributes (price, address, sqft, etc.). There are several different property types (residential, commercial, rental, income, land, etc.) and each property type share a majority of the attributes, but there are a few that are unique to that property type. My question is the shared attributes are in excess of 250 fields and this seems like too many fields to have in a single table. My thought is I could break them out into an EAV (Entity-Attribute-Value) format, but I've read many bad things about that and it would make running queries a real pain as any of the 250 fields could be searched on. If I were to go that route, I'd literally have to pull all the data out of the EAV table, grouped by listing id, merge it on the application side, then run my query against the in memory object collection. This also does not seem very efficient. I am looking for some ideas or recommendations on which way to proceed. Perhaps the 250+ field table is the only way to proceed. Just as a note, I'm using SQL Server 2012, .NET 4.5 w/ Entity Framework 5, C# and data is passed to asp.net web application via WCF service. Thanks in advance.

• SQL 2008 Querying Soap XML

  I have been trying to process this SOAP XML return using SQL but all I get is NULL or nothing at all. I have tried different ways and pasted them all below. • writing into csv file

I couldnt split them into seperate fields. as the results showing is as I want to split the details I want each element in details to be in a column to be somthin like its realy annoying :-) please help , thank you in advance

• Grabbing rows from MySql where current date is in between start date and end date (Check if current date lies between start date and end date)

  I'm trying to select from the database to get the "campaigns" that dates fall into the month. So far i've been successful in grabbing rows that starts or ends inside the current month. What I need to do now is select rows that start in one month and ends a few months down the line ( EG: It's the 3rd month in the year, and there's a "campaign" that runs from the 1st month until the 5th. other example There is a "campaign" that runs from 2012 until 2013 ) I'm hoping there is some way to select via MySql all rows in which a capaign may run. If not should I grab all data in the database and only show the ones that run via the current month. I have already made a function that displays all the days inbetween each date inside an array, which is called "dateRange". I've also created another which shows how many days the campaign runs for called "runTime". I'm also using some HighChart pie charts. Those are rendered without any issues on all browsers. All of the demos on the HighStock Demo Gallery are working without problems.

• Javascript errors on internet explorer with jQuery but working fine on Firefox

• Service Bus / Request Forwarding

  I'm doing some development with a thrid party that issues either a Get or POST to a public URL that I specify. What I would like to do is set up a Relay service on the Azure Service Bus that my dev machine can listen to. When the request comes in, I want to forward that request as if my web service was taking the request directly from the thrid party service. When I'm ready, I'll deploy the application to a public service, change the URL that the thrid party service is sending too, and viola I should be up and running. What I'm looking for looks exactly like this: Clemens the Master of Service Bus but it's from the 2009 CTP. I'm working at it, but haven't yet got it working using all the new bits in 2012 (a.ka. its over my head at the moment). Somebody want to help? Clemens also help somebody else create a Reverse Proxy using the Service Bus, but I can't seem to find it. Yes I've also tweeted Clemens, but I'm sure he is a busy man! p.s. I know about Application Request Routing, but my dev machine is not on a public URL, I need to rewrite the URL after my client listener on the service bus recieves the message that was relayed from the Server side endpoint.

  Does anyone know why the results of the following 2 queries do not add up to the results of the 3rd one? SELECT COUNT(leadID) FROM leads WHERE makeID NOT IN (SELECT uploadDataMapID FROM DG_App.dbo.uploadData WHERE uploadID = 3 AND uploadRowID = 1) AND modelID NOT IN (SELECT uploadDataMapID FROM DG_App.dbo.uploadData WHERE uploadID = 3 AND uploadRowID = 2) SELECT COUNT(leadID) FROM Leads WHERE makeID IN (SELECT uploadDataMapID FROM DG_App.dbo.uploadData WHERE uploadID = 3 AND uploadRowID = 1) OR modelID IN (SELECT uploadDataMapID FROM DG_App.dbo.uploadData WHERE uploadID = 3 AND uploadRowID = 2) SELECT COUNT(leadID) FROM Leads The first query is the count I need. The second one is to tell the user how many records were suppressed based on the contents of the DG_App.dbo.uploadData table. The third query is just a straight count of all the records. When I run these the results of query 1 + the results of query 2 comes up about 46K records less than the count of the entire table. I have played with grouping the WHERE statements with () but that did not change the counts at all. This is MSSQL Server 2012. Any input on this would be great. Thanks

The interface to implement when I run the application the cctor runs fine, which shows that unity resolution was successful: But when I try to call a method of this class, the code just passes through without actually invoking the function of the implemented class: Edit: Added on June 11, 2012 Following is the Unity Configuration I have.   I've been unable to register any achievements. I keep getting the following: {"error":{"message":"(#3502) Object at achievement URL is not of type game.achievement","type":"OAuthException","code":3502}} When I run my URL through the linter, I get: Open Graph Warnings That Should Be Fixed Inferred Property: The 'og:url' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags. Inferred Property: The 'og:title' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags. Although when I load the URL myself I clearly see those set in the meta tags.
