  • Cannot get document.getElementById() to find my textarea

    Maybe I've been working on my site for to long, but I can't get the following to work. I am having my textarea fire an onkeyup() event called limiter which is supposed to check the textarea and limit the text in the box, while updated another readonly input field that shows the amount of characters left.   • Java split is eating my characters.

    Hi, I have a string like this String str = "la$le\$li$lo". I want to split it to get the following output "la","le\$li","lo". The \$ is a $ escaped so it should be left in the output. But when I do str.split("[^\\\\]\\$") y get "l","le\$l","lo". From what I get my regex is matching a$ and i$ and removing then. Any idea of how to get my characters back? Thanks

  • Jquery accordion, next and previous wizard, how to get previous and next sections?

    Hi I have a Jquery accordion which works fine. Sections get expanded/collapsed when clicked on respective headers. But I want to add the functionality so that when I click on "next" button it opens up the next section and clicking "Previous" button takes me back to previous section. This has been done on this page http://jquery.bassistance.de/accordion/demo/?p=1.1.2 (last example) but not sure how do I implement the same in my case. Any suggestions please.     I'm making a webapp, and I'd like an input field to show the Iphone's number keypad. I understand that type=number will make the keypad show the way I'd like. The trouble is that type=number does not support placeholder text. So if I would like this: Expiration Date: [eg: 2010] I can not get it to work, and also show the right keyboard. Is there a way to force the iphone keyboard into number mode without using the number input type?

I want to check how many numbers the 'price' variable contains, and add a space in the variable depending on how many numbers. I want to show this output to the user in an NSTextView (so basicly stream the stdout to the NSTextView).     Is it possible check the Accessibility of a page before loading it? I have a form, running on mobile device using wireless connection. The problem is: not always this connection is avaible and i would like to alert the user when is doing a submit or an unload of the page. Also if I want to generalize my script i do not know the value of "mylocation" previously.   • Handling a colon in an element ID in a CSS selector

I need to specify some styling on that element, but that colon looks like the beginning of a pseudo-element to the browser so it gets marked invalid and ignored.
