I need to store the entered sign up credentials in any database(Oracle, Service based database, local database). Then when he tries to sign in, entered credentials should be compared with stored sign up values for authentication. This is done in visual studio, c#.   I need to source some graphics/icons for my application I'm writing (Windows WinForms). I need graphics for toolbar buttons, icons for form headers and graphics for wizard dialog boxes. As a last resort I'm willing to create them myself - a move that might make them (and my whole application) look amazingly bad. What are some good sources (free or not) where I can get these kinds of programmer icons? I'd like the icons to be at least 32x32 256 color.

  OK so I've got 2 tables for this instance, Users{UserID, Name}, Company{CompanyID, UserID, Name, Payrate} i also have 2 combo boxes, first one is for Users which Displays Name, and the Value is UserID i need the second combobox to get the Names from the Company table, but only showing Companies that are relevant to the selected user. I cant work out how to get it to go... Any ideas???

  I'd like to put a couple images on a surfaceview. I understand that the screen sizes of android devices can vary, so I don't think I can just use an x y position or I might end up placing it off different screens. Say I want to put two boxes in the center of the screen, a blue one and a red one. The blue one is to the left of the red one. How can I accomplish that while accounting for different screen sizes?

Using the browser's developer tools you can see that both boxes have an inherited z-index: auto; I can't reproduce this effect on my website (without using z-index). So, my question is: Why is the gray block under the white one?

  I understand there has been a lot of discussion on this but I have yet to find a solution to fix my needs. Basically I need to autogrow a text area not when you type but on load. I am pulling in content from a database and dependant on the user's settings an overlay is produced over the text area, but upon doing this the text areas are not scrollable therefore I need to autosize these to show all the text. I have tried scrollHeight but this is not working great as there are multiple text boxes on the screen Thanks

  I have several select boxes and textboxes with the same class and I have the following statement. if ($('.selTxtClass:visible').val() == "") { $('.selTxtClass:visible').focus(); } } If I do an alert with ($('.selTxtClass:visible').val()) it comes as undefined. I want to check that the value of these elements are empty, but I cant see what is wrong with this if statement, could you give me a hand, please? Thanks a lot.

  I am running the same AIR application under windows, linux and Mac OSX Windows and Linux look fine, but under mac OS-X the controls are not showing any text. Button, Tooltips, Labels, Check boxes, everything is blank. I just ported that app to Flex 4. Flex 3 versions of the same app on the same OSX machine works. How can I get controls to show text under Max OSX? Is this a font problem?
