    [http://jsfiddle.net/mhmBs/][1] I tried using the method that he uses in a jquery validator plugin.. My error container is separated from the form, it is outside the form. When I use that method to validated that the user input at least one from 3 input text boxes. It validates the field, but the other items to be validated is ignored specially the items before 3 input text boxes.

  • Why do you have to mark a class with the attribute [serializable] ?

    Seeing as you can convert any document to a byte array and save it to disk, and then rebuild the file to its original form (as long as you have meta data for its filename etc.). Why do you have to mark a class with [Serializable] etc? Is that just the same idea, "meta data" type information so when you cast the object to its class things are mapped properly?

    I have a jQuery Dialog box on one of my pages. One of the buttons in the dialog boxes triggers a JavaScript prompt OnClick. Everything seems OK with the lastest versions of Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, but some users are reporting weird behavior. Are there any known browser compatibility errors with jQuery UI dialog boxes?

    I have 4 check boxes and by default they are checked and depending on these check boxes i have to show a value some where else. for ex: suppose for first checkbox i say 1, second 2 ,third 3 and fourth 4 so initially i store this value in a string name dg="1,2,3,4" if the user unchecks the second check box the value in my dg must be showing : dg="1,3,4" And again if the user checks the second chekbox , my dg must store the value : dg="1,2,3,4" How to achieve this?     I have applied a color theme called Vibrant Ink (or some modification of it), and since I installed Visual Studio 2010 Pro Power Tools all my statement completion boxes are undreadable. What setting changes the colors of these boxes? Preferrably, I'd like to change the background color to something darker, but if that's not possible at least I want to change the text color.

I'm looking for the syntactic sugar that will make it possible to call a method on a class whose name is stored in a hash (as opposed to a simple scalar): use strict; use warnings; package Foo; sub foo { print "in foo()\n" } package main; my %hash = (func => 'foo'); Foo->$hash{func}; If I copy $hash{func} into a scalar variable first, then I can call Foo->$func just fine... but what is missing to enable Foo->$hash{func} to work?   • Cannot change the height of a combo box in the VS Dialog Editor

    Any combo box I create seems to be stuck at 12 dialog units in height. Microsoft's guidelines for spacing and sizing of controls in dialog boxes state that a combo box should be 14 dialog units high. I have even tried editing the resource file in notepad and recompiling in Visual Studio without opening the resource editor - but the combo boxes are still the wrong size! Any ideas?

    I am having a weird experience. I am dynamically creating a row of textboxes at runtime when the user clicks a button. However, on my local machine the text boxes appear correctly (example [TextBox1] [TextBox2] [TextBox3] [TextBox4] [TextBox5] [TextBox1] [TextBox2] [TextBox3] [TextBox4] [TextBox5] [TextBox1] [TextBox2] [TextBox3] [TextBox4] [TextBox5] When I run this app on the production, the output side-by-side is: [TextBox1][TextBox1] [TextBox2][TextBox2] [TextBox3][TextBox3] [TextBox4][TextBox4] The output should be one row of textboxes, then a second row of 5 text boxes Anyone experience this?

I have the function with following signature: void box_sort(int**, int, int) and variable of following type: int boxes[MAX_BOXES][MAX_DIMENSIONALITY+1] When I am calling the function box_sort(boxes, a, b) GCC gives me two warnings: 103.c:79: warning: passing argument 1 of ‘box_sort’ from incompatible pointer type (string where i am calling the function) 103.c:42: note: expected ‘int **’ but argument is of type ‘int (*)[11] (string where the function is defined) The question is why? Whether int x[][] and int** x (and actually int* x[]) are not the same types in C?
