  We have a Windows server, with Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6 clients. On the server are some Automator workflows with custom icons stored in external resoruce fork files, like this: foo.wflow ._foo.wflow The custom icons are only visible to the 10.5 clients.

  Mac OS X Spaces change when I drag a window at the edge of the screen. Is there an application or 'defaults' command to disable this? Warp looks like it might help, but hasn't changed the behavior for me, even though I tried turning it off, or setting a modifier key.

• Netstat flags on OS/2

  On an OS/2 box, what do the flags UGDP mean in the output of netstat -r. Google seems to point to them meaning Up, Gateway (i.e. an indirect root), and Dynamic (learned from a redirect), but that leaves me mystified as to the meaning of P. The only suggestion I've had is permanent but that doesn't make any sense with dynamic. Any ideas?

• Focus issues in OS X Spaces

  Spaces rarely returns focus to my last used window. Haven't been able to peg universally reproducible steps, but spend any time switching among spaces and windows and you'll come across this. It often happens with Finder windows. I'm thinking this is because Mac OS X treats Finder as a single app, so bringing Finder forward in one space brings it forward in all spaces. Extremely annoying! Anyone have a fix for this?

  On the native mac widgets, emacs keybindings (ctrl-a,ctrl-e,ctrl-k,etc) are default. On Ubuntu, I can configure GTK to use emacs keybindings. I've recently installed Tomboy on OS X, which uses Mono and GTK. Does anybody know how to configure this application (which uses GTK widgets) to use emacs keybindings?

How do I fix it to where it prints black and white by default, and if you want color, you have to change the settings? Edit: The thinking is that I have one mac update itself using Software Update, and then somehow share the downloaded updates with other macs. For example, I have a mac pro and a mac mini on my local network. I'd like to download the Mac OS X 10.6.5 update only once, instead of having to download it separately for each mac.

  My host is running Win 7 ultimate 64bit, ESET NOD32 AV 4.0 (64 bit). My guest OS is Windows XP Professional (Sp3) Using bridge mode, I can ping gateway just fine, even ping public dns server (8.8.8.8 or 208.67.222.222). But cannot resolve any dns request. I tried using nslookup with public dns, my gateway but no good. I can access my host share file normally thou. Any suggestions?

Under Windows there is the Universal Extractor, I am looking like something like that for Mac. • Stick floating eclipse windows on second screen with Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks

  When working with eclipse, I'm used to have a floating window with the console and other views on my secondary monitor. Since the update to OSX 10.9 (Mavericks), I still can drag the floating window to the secondary screen, but it keeps popping back to the main monitor when e.g. changing the perspective - which is really annoying. This did not happen with Mac OS 10.8. Is there a way that the floating windows of eclipse stay on the secondary monitor?

  Note, there's already a question on this regard, but it's totally useless. I need to blur, or put a small opaque mask to a moving object on a movie I took, I am using Mac OS X.
