    Question: Is there any such thing as a programming language (other than an esoteric language such as BrainF@#$, or the languages PHP or VB) that you can "compile" into non-obfuscated PHP source code? Rationale: Swip wants to generate ordinary PHP code because it is so ubiquitous for the types of projects swip wants to do. Unfortunately swip would like to actually avoid writing PHP -- strange but true! Swip is crazy enough to want to generate PHP source code without having to type any PHP into Swip's editor.

    Hi guys. I'm having a problem using ActiveSupport's core extensions on a gem I am developing. I had it working with AS 2.3.8, but as soon as I wanted to port it to 3b4, the extensions stopped working and my test results are filled with lines such as: undefined method `blank?' for "something":String I've included it via gem "activesupport" followed by require "active_support" Is there anything else I need to call to include those extensions?     Are there ANY tools that lets an animator / designer create scripted animations that can export to an OpenGL compatible format -- that are similar to the timeline editing in Flash or After Effects? Does OpenGL ES have some kind of animation playback or container format? ( is there something similar to .swf for OpenGL? ) Im looking for something that lets a designer / animator do his work with a timeline and in a traditional animation environment... meanwhile still having integration with OpenGL.

So I'm not testing QPid within my test, I'll use integration tests for that, however be very useful to test methods handling msgs with having to mock out a load of services.

    I have inherited a SSIS project. I have never worked with SSIS before, and the one thing that seems strange to me, is that there is no way to manage multiple configurations. For each SSIS package we have 3 delpoyment environments, DEV, UAT and PRODUCTION. At the moment I am having to edit the configuration for every package we deploy manually for each change (and there are a lot of packages). Does anyone know of a more graceful way to handle these configuration changes?

  • Apache/Tomcat configuration to allow multiple incoming DNS served by one app (SAAS)

    Is there a way to setup apache and tomcat so that I can have d1.webapp.com d2.webapp.com d3.webapp.com etc. All hosted by the same tomcat instance without having to add aliases to the HOSTS element in the tomcat config file? I will be allowing new users to have thier own domain when they sign up and it will be a subdomain of the web app. I don't want to keep updating the hosts file for aliases and restarting tomcat though each time a new user signs up.

  • Problems With Eclipse and Ruby Plugin

    I installed Eclipse and then the Ruby Development Tools (RDT), but it would crash when I try to alter certain features, like having line numbers, how far back to have history, and the code coloring scheme didn't work fully. I decided to try to uninstall Eclipse by doing sudo aptitude remove eclipse and then sudo aptitude install eclipse but instead it installed it back with the broken Ruby plugin. I also tried aptitude purge but that didn't help either. How can I freshly reinstall eclipse and get a properly working Ruby plugin?

  • Has anyone got the vim taglist plugin working with Scala?

    I'm having trouble getting the taglist plugin working properly with Scala. I've installed the plugin and ctags and verified that it works properly with Java and C++. I then followed the instructions on this page (minus the Lift specific instructuions), but was nothing shows up in the taglist window when I open it while editing a Scala file. Has anyone got this working and what are the proper steps? Thanks.

    I'm using wx.AUI and having a bit of a problem managing panes. Once you have created a new pane using AddPane(), what is the syntax to update or change the pane? I've seen the SetPane command but I can't find any examples. Can someone direct me to an example? Or perhaps it makes sense to use some command to delete the pane and create a new one? Should sticky_session be set to true or false for in memory session replication. http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/reference/workers.html mentions : Set sticky_session to False when Tomcat is using a Session Manager which can persist session data across multiple instances of Tomcat. where as /tomcat-6.0-doc/cluster-howto.html (Cluster Basics) mentions : Make sure that your loadbalancer is configured for sticky session mode.
