    In statistical language R, mean() and median() are standard functions which do what you'd expect. mode() tells you the internal storage mode of the R object, not the value that occurs the most in its argument. But surely there is a standard library function that implements mode for a vector (or list).

  • Geometry library for python (or C++) for CAD-like operations?

    I'm trying to put together a simple program that will let me visualize a series of consecutive cuts on a wood panel using a router with a particular cutting head. I'm trying to find a decent geometry library that will give me a shortcut through the CAD-like stuff. Specifically, I'd like to be able to define a rectangular solid (the wood panel) and then define a bit profile shape, and take cuts through the rectangular solid (sometimes on a straight line, sometimes on a circular arc). Does anyone know of anything that will do this?

    I am using VS2010, CrystalReport13 & MVC3. My problem is unable to add an external assembly in Crystal Report using "Database Expert" Option. I have a class named WeeklyReportModel in an external assembly. In my web project, data retrieving from DB as IEnumerable collection of WeeklyReportModel. I tried ProjectData - .NetObjects in Crystal Report for adding the WeeklyReportModel. But this external assembly is not showing under ".NetObjects". Then I tried other option as Create New Connection - ADO.Net – Make New Connection and pointed this External Assembly. It has been added under Ado.Net node, but while expanding displays as "...no items found..." Totally frustrated. Please help.     Per subject, how does msbuild decide whether it needs to rebuild a library (ie, invoke csc), or not, when it is run against a C# project file? I imagine (but want to confirm): If there's no output directory, rebuild (duh :) ) If a C# file has changed, rebuild If an included file marked copy-always has changed, rebuild or is it smart enough to not rebuild, but just copy the file to the existing output? If an included file marked copy-if-newer has changed, rebuild same question as above

  • Why is jQuery's .removeClass() adding a space to the class attribute?

    I'm having some strange issues with .removeClass() and .addClass() in jQuery. Specifically it seems that when I use .removeClass() the class is indeed removed, but a single space is left in it's place. then when I .addClass("secondclass") I get class=" secondclass" (with the space in front). I'm using jQuery 1.4.1 Is this intended behaviour or a bug? How to stop it?

I can't use "name" and "ID" because there are generated dynamical via PHP and i don't know their name. So maybye i can add class "xxx" for these what i wan't control ? Is is possible ?
