  • About Backward Compatibility of .NET Framework 4

    We have an WPF Application build on .net framework 3.5. Some testers find if they uninstall .net framework 3.5, but install .net framework 4.0, our APP fails to launch itself. Dose this mean that .net framework 4.0 does not include all 3.5 libs, and users have to install .net 3.5 even though they have 4.0? I see here are some migration issues listed by Microsoft http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee941656.aspx#windows_presentation_foundation_wpf Are they all breaking changes so that the backward compatibility is ruined?     Hello. I want to send a double click to a listview. From what I've read on msdn it seems I gotta send a WM_NOTIFY message and something with NM_DBLCLK. But I do not understand really well hwo to implement it.   • IE 8 install how to get version 8.0.6001.18702

    I am having trouble installing the latest version of IE namely version 8.0.6001.18702. I downloaded the install from Microsoft but when the install is completed, the version number is reported as IE 8.0.6001.18702IC. This version does not work on all web applications and I need to get the correct final version installed. The problem is compounded by the installation downloading any updates from the Microsoft site so that there is no real control over the final version you get. Any ideas?
