    I am trying to download a list of files from a ftp server using: NSURL *ftpUrl = [NSURL URLWithString:@"ftp://xxx:[email protected]"]; I HAVE to use FTP, so please do not recommend an alternative. I want to know how to get the list of files from the root directory and also navigate inside folders (of FTP server). P.S: I do not think external library would be required to accomplish such an easy task, but if I must, any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank You :)

    Hello, in my python project I call a c++ dll using ctypes library. That c++ dll consists on a wrapper dll that calls methods of a c# com interop dll. Sometimes I have a COM exception.     I have read the tutorial from ibm about xml parsing (http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/opensource/library/x-android/) In this example,there are four types of xml parsing.Dom,Sax,Android Sax and xml_pull.Could you please tell me what's the difference between these four types and when i have to use each one? Also,with every way of xml parsing in this tutorial,the feeds are shown in a listView. I have done this on windows (VS2008 C#, sockets), but here on linux (ubuntu 10.04) I have installed mono, and i can handle many things there, but it's speed is unacceptable for my 600MHz processor. so i decided to move on c++, but i'm new to c++ and i'm not familiar to many of it's headers. Is there any header or any library which can do that for me? thanks

    We have an application that takes snapshots of certain web pages. It's quite tightly integrated into the code, so we're not ready to incorporate another library. But we don't have a way of being able to calculate the web page height, so we end up taking snaps of 8000px height. Which is now proving troublesome when inserted into PDFs. Is there a way to find the height of the webpage in PHP?

I'm looking for a function that will take something in Javascript, be it an array, an associative array, a number, or even a string, and convert it to something that looks like it. For example: toString([1,2,3]) === '[1, 2, 3]' toString([[1,2], [2,4], [3,6]]) === '[[1,2], [2,4], [3,6]]' toString(23) === '23' toString('hello world') === 'hello world' toString({'one': 1, 'two': 2, 'three': 3}) === "{'one': 1, 'two': 2, 'three': 3}"

    HI I'd like to know how to check out the speed of a file being uploaded in real time using the curl library in c++. This is what I have written: curl_easy_getinfo(curl,CURLINFO_SPEED_UPLOAD,&c); But the manual says that it shows average speed, but even this doesn't seem to work with me, because I can only see a 0. There is one more thing: How to set an upload limit that works, because if I write this: curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_MAX_SEND_SPEED_LARGE, 100); I get an error 502 message

    I have moved my Opencart website to a new host, and I receive the error: Notice: Error: Could not load language total/sub_total! in .../vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_library_language.php on line 41 How do I resolve this? I have tried renaming vqmod/xml to vqmod/xml.bad, with no result. I have tried renaming /vqmod/vqcache to /vqmod/vqcache.bad, with no result. Update: In \system\library\language.php, I commented out an else branch which resulted in an application exit.

    In some library I'm using (written in C) its StorePGM(image, width, height, filename) char *image; int width, height; char *filename; { // something something } All functions are defined this way. I never seen such function definitions in my life. They seem to be valid to MSVC but when I compile it as C++ it gives errors. What is it? some kind of old version C?

By programmatically I mean via a command-line tool, C# via a .NET library, COM-invocation via Python, ... whatever doesn't involve any manual steps, really.
