• Is there any method of backing up Google Drive files in some sort of versioning system?

  Backstory My company is utilizing Google Drive for our shared files. Each user has their own Drive account. In addition, we have a corporate Drive account which holds documents which are shared to each user. Each folder is shared to different users depending on their permissions and positions in the company. Many users are able to add files, and updated folders within this shared Drive account. This is fine. What is not fine, is when someone deletes something that they shouldn't. I have little to no way of knowing when I file is deleted wrongfully. Furthermore, anything that gets deleted goes into the trash bin of the file's creator, so I can't just restore it from the trash. Question Is there any method of backing up Google Drive files in some sort of versioning system that would allow me to revert files back to defined points in time? What i have Tried I currently have this corporate drive account synced up to my personal computer through the Google Drive application. Each night, I run a backup on the file using Windows "Backup and Restore." This allows me to at least get back files that are lost, but I a cleaner method than this. It's very possible that I may not have the very latest version of a document on my computer when the utility runs.

• Redhat Linux password fail on ssh

  I am trying to ssh into my linux machine from my mac. If I am physically at the machine I can log in with my password just fine, but if I am sshing it refuses. • Best way to restrict access to a folder in Dropbox

  I currently run a business with around 10 staff members and we currently use Dropbox Pro 100GB to share all of our files. It works very well and is inexpensive, however, I am taking on a number of new staff and would like to move the more sensitive documents into their own, protected folder. Currently, we all share one Dropbox account, I am aware that Dropbox for teams supports this, but it is far too expensive for us as a small company. I have researched a number of solutions: 1) Set up a new standard Dropbox account just for use by management, which will contain all of the sensitive documents, and join the shared folder of the rest of my team to access the rest of the documents. As i understand it, this is not possible with a free account, as any dropbox shared folder added to your account will use up your quota 2) Set up some sort of TrueCrypt container, and install TrueCrypt on each trusted staff member's machine, and store the documents inside that. Would this be difficult to use? I'd imagine the sync-ing would not work so well as the disk would technically be mounted at the time of use and any changes would be a change to the actual container rather than individual files. I was just wondering if anyone knows a way to do this without the drawbacks outlined above? Thanks!

• Windows 7 permissions and Samba domain

  I'm the main desktop support in an office of mixed MacOS and WinXp machines, about 60. I'm new to Windows 7. Currently our XP users are admins on their own machines, and my boss is wanting us to get away from that now that we're going to Windows 7 (64bit). My boss is largely absent from my day-to-day work, so I'm here looking for help =) I have numerous unattended .cmd scripts that we run from a server share, unattended software installs. Some run at login, some have to be run manually. With the NetworkAdmin account logged on to the computer, I am able to run the .cmd files and install stuff just fine. With my test account logged on (Power User), I cannot run the .cmd file - I get an Access Denied. When I change my test account to an Admin on the machine, I still get access denied. However, the test account can simply double-click the .exe and install the software just fine, as admin. Power User can't install anything. How do I fix it so that any power user or admin on the machine can run anything as long as it's on our shared software drive?

• Users Password does not reset after successful login at the console but works fine with SSH

  The title says it all. I have my unsuccessful login attempts set to three. I purposefully fail logging in 2x, then when I SSH into the box successfully the 3rd time my count drops back to zero; exactly what should happen. But at the console I get failed login attempts EVEN for my successful login attempts. I am using RHEL 5.6 and no I am not able to upgrade. • Is Google tracking our web history even when we do not visit Google or if affiliate websites?

  I have recently updated to Google Chrome 29.0.1547.76. And when I click a the new tab button there is a new homepage now. Ok. My current settings forbid from third party cookies being set. And I clear all of my browsing data every time I close or well if its been too long browsing. Ok so there is this help dialog that appears first time you open the new tab page. What I did was Cleared all my browsing settings (From Beginning of time) and then again I went to the new tab, the Help dialog appears. And for the third time I did the same and the Same thing Happened. So For the fourth time I cleared all my Browsing data. Clicked open new tab and then. navigate myself to chrome://settings/cookies. and there were So does this mean google is tracking our web History just for using Chrome. I know Its not Illegal because these cookies only appear when you click the new tab Google Chrome 29.0.1547.76. maybe that was the reason google redesigned the entire New:tab page. From this Google is forcing us to allow them track us. I don't want to set another page as my new:tab page. I just want the old one. Google has a long History of invading Privacy without users consent. There was that Safari incident. I am sure you people remember. So can anyone tell me about this issue? I maybe wrong. So please explain.

• How to remove all data that a website stores on a PC? [on hold]

  I was a member in a computer forum website (sevenforums.com) for months. Two days ago I created a thread and many members participated in it, some of them asked me some irrelevant questions and I said “this question is irrelevant” and didn’t get them the answer. Thread finished and I could get the answer from another website and posted it to that website to arise members’ knowledge. Yesterday like every day I went to that website and faced a massage which was banning me, and my account was disabled. I shocked and I didn’t have even any option to appeal against that wrong decision. So I had to do something. And I did the following works: 1- I disconnected my Internet connection and cleared all the history data on the browser I use, the Google chrome. 2- I then ran “ccleaner” tool and marked almost all the options and then clicked on “run” button. Then it cleared all the data including the cookies. 3- I connected the machine (desktop) to the Internet and immediately changed my IP address. 4- I created a new Hotmail account and tried to register as a new member to that website (sevenforums.com). 5- I succeeded and my new account was enabled so I start to posting to that website. But unfortunately, after less than 1 minute I faced this message: “You are already banned”! My question is that, how they could know me again? How to create a new account without they know me? • Wpf binding to a function

  I've a created a simple scrollviewer (pnlDayScroller) and want to have a separate horizontal scrollbar (associated scroller) to do the horizontal scrolling. All works with the below code accept I need to bind the visibility of the associated scroller. I can't simply bind this to the visibility property of the horizontal template part of the scroll viewer as I've set this to be always hidden. • Bing maps silverlight control pushpin scaling problems.

  Baiscally my problem is that i've adapted a piece of code found here http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vemapcontroldev/thread/62e70670-f306-4bb7-8684-549979af91c1 which does exactly what I want it to do, that is scale some pushpin images according to the map's zoom level. The only problem is that I've adapted this code to run with the bing maps silverlight control (not virtual earth like in the original example) and now the images scale correclty, but they are repositioned and only reach the desired position when my zoom level is maximum. Any idea why? • Resizing and saving an image in WinMobile and .NET CF throws OutOfMemoryException

  I have a WinMobile app which allows the user the snap a photo with the camera, and then use for for various things. The photo can be snapped at 1600x1200, 800x600 or 640x480, but it must always be resized to 400px for the longest size (the other is proportional of course). • Did I find a bug in WriteableBitmap when using string literals

  For performance reasons I'm converting a large list of images into a single image. This code does exactly what I want. My code to load all the images looks like this. Public Function BuildTextures(Layer As GLEED2D.Layer) As FrameworkElement Dim Container As New Canvas For Each Item In Layer.Items If TypeOf Item Is GLEED2D.TextureItem Then Dim Texture = CType(Item, GLEED2D.TextureItem) Dim Url As New Uri(Texture.texture_filename, UriKind.Relative) Dim Img As New Image Img.Source = New Imaging.BitmapImage(Url) Container.Children.Add(Img) End If Next Return FlattenControl(Container) End Function The GLEED2D.Layer and GLEED2D.TextureItem classes are from the free level editor GLEED2D (http://www.gleed2d.de/). The texture_filename on every TextureItem is "Images/tree_clipart_pine_tree.png" This works just fine, but it's just a proof of concept. What I really need to do (among other things) is have the path to the image hard coded. If I replace Texture.texture_filename in the code above with the string literal "Images/tree_clipart_pine_tree.png" the images do not appear in the final merged image. I can add a breakpoint and see that the WriteableBitmap has all of it's pixels as 0 after the call to Invalidate. I have no idea how this could cause any sort of difference, but it gets stranger. If I remove the call to FlattenControl and just return the Canvas instead, the images are visible. It's only when I use the string literal with the WriableBitmap that the images do not appear. I promise you that the value in the texture_filename property is exactly "Images/tree_clipart_pine_tree.png". I'm using Silverlight 3 and I've also reproduced this in Silverlight 4. Any ideas?

• problem with revalidating a jframe.

  I have this code which should take the radio button input do a little math and display a popup. which it does fine. but then it is supposed to re validate and ask the next question. when i get to the second question, the answer always comes out as the isSelected(true) value no matter which radio button you click on. • XSL apply templates not working...could be XPath error

  I have converted mny stylesheet to use apply templates instead of call templates and it worked fine for my other styesheet, which was more complicated, but this one doesn't seem to work even thought it is a much simpler template. All that it outputs is the sex node and the userlevel node. I think it has to do with my Xpath.   So here's the issue: I'm building e-mails to be sent by my application by rendering full view pages to strings and sending them. This works without any problem so long as I'm not redirecting to another URL on the site afterwards. Whenever I try, I get "System.Web.HttpException: Cannot redirect after HTTP headers have been sent." I believe the problem comes from the fact I'm reusing the context from the controller action where the call for creating the e-mail comes from. More specifically, the HttpResponse from the context. Unfortunately, I can't create a new HttpResponse that makes use of HttpWriter because the constructor of that class is unreachable, and using any other class derived from TextWriter causes response.Flush() to throw an exception, itself. New subsets are created from old ones in O(1) time by just cons'ing the element to the front. I am not sure what the runtime complexity of it is, but appears that with each element "sum" grows by, the size of "subsets" doubles, plus one, so it appears to me to at least be quadratic. I am posting this because my impression before was that NP-complete problems tend to be intractable and that the best one can usually hope for is a heuristic, but this appears to be a general-purpose solution that will, assuming you have the CPU cycles, always give you the correct answer. How many other NP-complete problems can be solved like this one?

  Hello friend, I want to print tree structure showing in WPF treeview control in multiple page. I tried PrintVisual() but it only prints only visible parts. Then I tried FlowDocument and written AddNode(), but its not showing the same result as treeview doimg.
