  I'm trying to adopt crispy-forms and bootstrap and use as much of their functionality as possible instead of inventing something over and over again. Is there a way to have inline forms functionality with crispy-forms/bootstrap like django-admin forms have? On the sreenshot below you are able to fill out data for 'Question' object and below that you are able to add data for QuestionOption objects -you are able to click the '+' icon to add as many QuestionOptions as you want. I'm not looking for a way to get the forms auto-generated from models (that's nice but not the most important) - is there a way to construct a form that will let you add 'rows' of data like django-admin does?

• UIActivityIndicatorView is not display at the right time

  I'm making a form that allows the user to enter datas in my IOS application. This form allows the user to enter a lot of repetive datas. So, sometimes, the process takes time and I would like to display a UIActivityIndicatorView during this process. Unfortunalty the spinner appears only one second or less at the end of the process, not at the beginning as expected. • MVP, WinForms - how to avoid bloated view, presenter and presentation model

  When implementing MVP pattern in winforms I often find bloated view interfaces with too many properties, setters and getters. An easy example with be a view with 3 buttons and 7 textboxes, all having value, enabled and visible properties exposed from the view. Adding validation results for this, and you could easily end up with an interface with 40ish properties. Using the Presentation Model, there'll be a model with the same number of properties aswell. How do you easily sync the view and the presentation model without having bloated presenter logic that pass all the values back and forth? (With that 80ish line presenter code, imagine with the presenter test that mocks the model and view will look like..160ish lines of code just to mock that transfer.) Is there any framework to handle this without resorting to winforms databinding? (you might want to use different views than a winforms view. According to some, this sync should be the presenters job..) Would you use AutoMapper? Maybe im asking the wrong questions, but it seems to me MVP easily gets bloated without some good solution here..

• Table element in CSS table-cell offsets other table-cell contents

  The following table element in the "center" div causes the contents in the "left" divs to be offset by several pixels from the top (8 in my browser). Adding some text prior to the table removes this offset. Why? • How to change image and disable UIBarButtonItem

  I have a NavigationBar app with two views: a parent and a sub view. In the sub view I'm adding a button to the right corner as follows: - (void)viewDidLoad { UIBarButtonItem *tempButton = [[UIBarButtonItem alloc] initWithImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"lock-unlocked.png"] style:UIBarButtonItemStylePlain target:self action:@selector(lockScreen)]; self.navigationItem.rightBarButtonItem = tempButton; [tempButton release]; } When that button is clicked I want to change the image of this rightBarButtonItem and disable the leftBarButtonItem (which was added automatically by the controller). Basically have two states of a button, locked and unlocked. Question 1: The only way I can find how to change the image is to create a new UIButtonItem with a new image and replace rightBarButtonItem with that new one. But I'm wondering if there's a way to just change the image without creating a new UIBarButtonItem. Am I creating a memory leak if I keep creating new UIBarButtonItem? Question 2: How can I get a hold of self.navigationItem.leftBarButtonItem and disable/enable it? I don't create that one manually, it's created automatically for me by the controller. I don't see any method/property on UIBarButtonItem to enable/disable user interaction with it.

• How do you protect against specific CSRF attack

  I am going trough the OWASP Top 10 list of 2007 and 2010. I stumbled upon Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) this is often called session riding as you let the user usee his session to fulfill your wishes. Now a solution to this is adding a token to every url and this token is checked for every link. For example to vote on product x the url would be: 'http://mysite.com?token=HVBKJNKL' This looks like a solid solution to because a hacker can not guess the token. But I was thinking of the following scenario(I do not know if it is possible): You create a website with an hidden iFrame or div. After that you can load my website in it either using just the normal iFrame or ajax. When you have my website loaded hidden inside your website, and the user has a stored session, the following can be done. You can retrieve the token from the URLS, and still do all the actions needed. Is it possible to do something like this. Or is it not possible to do this cross domain.

• Problem using FtpWebRequest to append to file on a mainframe

  I am using FtpWebRequest to append data to a mainframe file. Each record appended is 50 characters long, and I am adding them one record at a time. In our development environment, we do not have a mainframe, so my code was written and tested FTPing to a Windows-based FTP site instead of a mainframe. Initially, I was writing each record using a StreamWriter (using the stream from the FtpWebRequest) and writing each record using WriteLine (which automatically adds a CR/LF to the end). When we ran this for the first time in the test environment (in which we're writing to an actual MVS mainframe), our mainframe contact said the CR/LFs were not able to be read by his program (a green-screen mainframe program of some sort - he's sent me screen captures, which is all I know of it). I changed our code to use Write instead of WriteLine, but now my code executes successfully (i.e no thrown exceptions) when writing multiple records, but no matter how many records we append, he is only able to "see" the first record - according to his mainframe program, there is only one 50-character record in the file. I'm guessing that to fix this, I need to write some other line-delimiting character into the end of the stream (instead of CR/LF) that the mainframe will recognize as a record delimiter. Anybody know what this is, or how else I can fix this problem?

• UIAlertView -show causing a memory leak

  I'm relatively new to iPhone Development, so this may be my fault, but it goes against what I've seen. :) I think that I'm creating a UIAlertView that lives just in this vaccuum of the 'if' statement. That makes the retain count 0, but I still show a leak. And if it helps, the leak's Responsible Frame is UIKeyboardInputManagerClassForInputMode. I'm also using OS 4 Beta 3. So anyone have any ideas how a local UIAlertView's retain count would increment itself by 5 when calling -show? Thanks for your help!

• Integrating CKFinder with InnovaStudio WYSIWYG Editor

  I use InnovaStudio WYSIWYG Editor, and I am trying to replace InnovaStudio's Asset Manager with CKFinder. There's a line in the editor configuration for what URL to use for the asset manager. I have pointed it at CKFinder. The part I can't get to work is getting the field to populate with the double-clicked file's path from CKFinder. It appears to use the 'func' parameter to specify the callback function. The URL I'm calling is: /common/ckfinder/ckfinder.html?action=js&func=setAssetValue The InnovaStudio WYSIWYG Editor provides the setAssetValue(v) callback function for setting the field value. The v parameter should hold the URL. CKFinder pops up as expected when it's invoked, but neither double-clicking the thumbnails nor using the "select" option in the context menu works. The normal/expected behavior is that CKFinder closes and the target field is populated with the URL for the selected asset. Additional Info: The InnovaStudio WYSIWYG Editor has a "popup" for adding an image or flash file to the content. This pop-up is in an iframe. When it calls CKFinder (or it's own asset manager), that is also in an iframe. It appears that CKFinder is looking in the scope of the main window rather than the image/flash iframe that actually contains the field that needs to be populated.

  Hi all ive looked through the current related questions but have not managed to find anything similar to my needs. Im in the process of creating a affiliate store using zencart - now one of the issues is that zencart is not designed for redirects and affiliate stores but it can be done. I will be changing the store so it acts like a showcase store showing prices. There is a mod called easy populate which allows me to upload datafeeds. This is all well and good however my affiliate link will not be in each product. I can do it manually after uploading the data feed and going to each product and then adding it as an image with a redirect link - However when there are over 500 items its going to be a long repetitive and time consuming job. I have been told that I can add the links to the data feed before uploading it to zencart and this should be done using python. Ive been reading about python for several days now and feel im looking for the wrong things. I was wondering if someone could please advise the simplest way for me to get this done. • MKMapKit custom annotations being added to map, but are not visible on the map

  I learned a lot from the screencast at http://icodeblog.com/2009/12/21/introduction-to-mapkit-in-iphone-os-3-0/ , and ive been trying to incorporate the way he creates a custom annotation into my iphone app. He is hardcoding annotations and adding them individually to the map, whereas i want to add them from my data source. So i have an array of objects with a lat and a lng (ive checked that the values are within range and ought to be appearing on the map) that i iterate through and do [mapView addAnnotation:truck] once this process is completed, i check the number of annotations on the map with [[mapView annotations] count] and its equal to the number it ought to be, so all the annotations are getting added onto the mapView, but for some reason I cant see any annotations in the simulator. I've compared my code with his in all the pertinent places many times, but nothing seems to stand out as being incorrect. Ive also reviewed my code for the last several hours trying to find a point where I do something wrong, but nothing is coming to mind. The images are named just as they are assigned in the custom AnnotationView, the loadAnnotation function is done properly, etc... i dont know what it could be. so i suppose if i could have the answer to one question it would be, what are possible causes for a mapView to contain several annotations, but to not show any on the map?   hi, the PLAYHEAD_UPDATE event is not triggered by my videoDisplay component in Flex. If I add the attribute playheadUpdate="playUpdate()" everything works fine.   I need feedparser (se http://www.feedparser.org) for a project, and want to keep third party modules in a separate folder. I did this by adding a folder to my python path, and putting relevant modules there, among them feedparser. I made sure the indent in the function in question where ok (moved some line breaks down to no-indent). • Logging in worker threads spawned from a pylons application does not seem to work

  I have a pylons application where, under certain cirumstances I want to spawn multiple worker threads to process items in a queue. Right now we aren't making use of a ThreadPool (would be ideal, but we'll add that in later). The main problem is that the worker threads logging does not get written to the log files. When I run the code outside of the pylons application the logging works fine. So I think its something to do with the pylons log handler but not sure what. • Code Golf: Collatz Conjecture

  Inspired by http://xkcd.com/710/ here is a code golf for it. The Challenge Given a positive integer greater than 0, print out the hailstone sequence for that number. The Hailstone Sequence See Wikipedia for more detail.. If the number is even, divide it by two. If the number is odd, triple it and add one. Repeat this with the number produced until it reaches 1. (if it continues after 1, it will go in an infinite loop of 1 -> 4 -> 2 -> 1...) Sometimes code is the best way to explain, so here is some from Wikipedia function collatz(n) show n if n > 1 if n is odd call collatz(3n + 1) else call collatz(n / 2) This code works, but I am adding on an extra challenge. The program must not be vulnerable to stack overflows. So it must either use iteration or tail recursion. Also, bonus points for if it can calculate big numbers and the language does not already have it implemented. • WCF Named Pipe IPC

  I have been trying to get up to speed on Named Pipes this week. The task I am trying to solve with them is that I have an existing windows service that is acting as a device driver that funnels data from an external device into a database. Now I have to modify this service and add an optional user front end (on the same machine, using a form of IPC) that can monitor the data as it passes between the device and the DB as well as send some commands back to the service. My initial ideas for the IPC were either named pipes or memory mapped files. So far I have been working through the named pipe idea using WCF Tutorial Basic Interprocess Communication . My idea is to set the Windows service up with an additional thread that implements the WCF NamedPipe Service and use that as a conduit to the internals of my driver. I have the sample code working, however I can not get my head around 2 issues that I am hoping that someone here can help me with: In the tutorial the ServiceHost is instantiated with a typeof(StringReverser) rather than by referencing a concrete class. Thus there seems to be no mechanism for the Server to interact with the service itself (between the host.Open() and host.Close() lines). Is it possible to create a link between and pass information between the server and the class that actually implements the service? If so, how? If I run a single instance of the server and then run multiple instance of the clients, it seems that each client gets a separate instance of the service class. I tried adding some state information to the class implementing the service and it was only retained within the instance of the named pipe. This is possibly related to the first question, but is there anyway to force the named pipes to use the same instance of the class that is implementing the service? Finally, any thoughts on MMF vs Named Pipes? Thanks for you help

• nHibernate Mapping with Oracle Varchar2 Data Types

  I am new to nHibernate and having some issues getting over the learning curve. My current question involves passing a string value as a parameter to a stored sproc. The error I get is: Input string is not in correct format. • How do I convert some ugly inline javascript into a function?

  I've got a form with various inputs that by default have no value. When a user changes one or more of the inputs all values including the blank ones are used in the URL GET string when submitted. So to clean it up I've got some javascript that removes the inputs before submission. It works well enough but I was wondering how to put this in a js function or tidy it up. Seems a bit messy to have it all clumped in to an onclick. Plus i'm going to be adding more so there will be quite a few. Here's the relevant code. There are 3 seperate lines for 3 seperate inputs. The first part of the line has a value that refers to the inputs ID ("mf","cf","bf","pf") and the second part of the line refers to the parent div ("dmf","dcf", etc). • NetBeans generates JpaController with errors

  Hi, I am using NetBeans 6.8 for building Spring MVC application. Techonologies : Spring MVC 2.5 Derby DB Hibernate for ORM GlassFish v3 server I use New JPA Controller Classes from Entity Classes for adding ORM file. It is supposed to generate class for managing queries with my POJO files.   I'm parsing an RSS feed with NSXMLParser and it's working fine for the title and other strings but one of the elements is an image thats like <!CDATA <a href="http:image..etc> How do I add that as my cell image in my table view? Would I define that as an image type?
