• How to get Wordpress MU / BuddyPress wp_signup meta data

  I am trying to get a value from the meta data that is stored in the wp_signups table for a Wordpress MU / BuddyPress installation. I see it's stored in the meta field as s:3:"age";s:2:"25"; ...which is age = 25 I put the information there using $usermeta['age'] = $_POST['signup_age']; in a plugin subscribing the the bp_signup_usermeta filter. I need to get it back during a function subscribing to bp_before_activate_content. How can I do this? Whats the function call? (searched documentation to no avail)

  Maybe I'm misunderstanding how to use an IValueConverter or data binding (which is likely), but I am currently trying to set the IsReadOnly property of a DataGridTextColumn depending on the value of a string. I am using xml source nad oledb destination My issue now is this xml file generate multiple outputs .(event,produt,offer,form) etc. But i need to write all in one data row(more than one if 2 products are there for the event) in the database. But i do not know how to use this multiple outputs and make a single row for a event. I hav read numerous articles about this subject but not able to take a decision.what is the right way of doing this. 1) xml source ?   I want to create a report which aggregates the number of activities per customer per week. If there has been no activites on that customer for a given week, 0 should be displayed (i.e week 3 and 4 in the sample below) CUSTOMER | #ACTIVITIES | WEEKNUMBER A | 4 | 1 A | 2 | 2 A | 0 | 3 A | 0 | 4 A | 1 | 5 B ... C ... The problem is that if there are no activities there is no data to report on and therefor week 3 and 4 in the sample below is not in the report. What is the "best" way to solve this?

  I have a data structures homework, that in addition to the regular AVL tree functions, I have to add a function that returns the minimum gap between any two numbers in the AVL tree (the nodes in the AVL actually represent numbers.) Lets say we have the numbers (as nodes) 1 5 12 20 23 21 in the AVL tree, the function should return the minimum gap between any two numbers. In this situation it should return "1" which is |20-21| or |21-20|. It should be done in O(1). Tried to think alot about it, and I know there is a trick but just couldn't find it, I have spent hours on this. There was another task which is to find the maximum gap, which is easy, it is the difference between the minimal and maximal number.

  Hi, I am writing a Core Data-based iPhone app and I am new to Objective-C. I have a bug that I am really struggling to nail.   I have some polygon data saved in a PostGIS database with projection SRID 27700. geom = models.MultiPolygonField(srid=27700) I want to display the shapes on OpenStreetMap, i.e. with SRID 900913 (I think?). So, two questions: How do I change the code below to output with the right SRID for OpenStreetMap? • Can't create flex4 project in flexbuilder using remoting or LiveCycle Data Servcies ES

  I'm trying out the FlasBuilder ide with ColdFusion 8 on OS X. When I try to create a new project, I get stuck at the server setup screen that forces you to validate your paths for your ColdFusion root folder and your webroot. Every combination I try says either "LiveCycle Data Services is not installed at the specified location" or "Invalid root. The WEB-INF/flex folder must contain either flex-config.xml or services-config.xml." The flex-config.xml file is sitting in that directory. Is there some trick to getting this to work?

  Hi, I tried to save data and merge with CoreData and multi-thread for iPhone app. But I can't get managed objects in the main thread after merging. I wrote code just like this: [managedObjectContext performSelectorOnMainThread:@selector(mergeChangesFromContextDidSaveNotification:) withObject:notification waitUntilDone:YES]; [self performSelectorOnMainThread:@selector(didMerged:) withObject:objectIds waitUntilDone:YES]; So I tried to pass objectIds to get NSManagedObject instances in the main thread which were generated in another thread. At first I tried "objectWithId" method but it generated fault objects. Then I tried "existingObjectWithID" method but it generated objects partly and others were nil with following Error: [Error] Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=133000 "Operation could not be completed. (Cocoa error 133000.)" What is wrong? Is there any way how to retrieve all objects by objectIds after merging in another thread? Thank you.

• How well do zippers perform in practice, and when should they be used?

  I think that the zipper is a beautiful idea; it elegantly provides a way to walk a list or tree and make what appear to be local updates in a functional way. Asymptotically, the costs appear to be reasonable. But traversing the data structure requires memory allocation at each iteration, where a normal list or tree traversal is just pointer chasing. This seems expensive (please correct me if I am wrong). Are the costs prohibitive? And what under what circumstances would it be reasonable to use a zipper?

  When I install my application, along with the binaries, a conf file is installed that the user can change as he needs (it's actually the user data file). I would like this file to not be overwritten or deleted when a repair, upgrade, modify happens and it should be deleted only when a real uninstall happens. In other words: this conf file is installed along with the binaries and should never be touched again (overwritten/deleted) until a real uninstall happens (not repairs, modifies, upgrades) in which case it should be deleted. So I was thinking of doing: <Component Id="aaa.cfg" Guid="GUID"> <File Id="aaa.cfg" Source="aaa.cfg" KeyPath="yes" /> </Component> But I don't know how could I condition the component so that: 1) the component to be removed only on a real uninstall - not upgrades, repairs, modifies? 2) the file should in no case be overwritten if already exists. • How to Obtain Data to Pre-Populate Forms.

  The objective is to have a form reflect user's defined constraints on a search. At first, I relied entirely upon server-side scripting to achieve this; recently I tried to shift the functionality to JavaScript. On the server side, the search parameters are stored in a ColdFusion struct which makes it particularly convenient to have the data JSON'ed and sent to the client. Then it's just a matter of separately iterating over 'checkable' and text fields to reflect the user's search parameters; jQuery proved to be exceptionally effective in simplifying the workload. One observable difference lies in performance. The second method appeared to be somewhat slower and didn't work in IE8. Evidently, the returned JSON'ed struct was seen as an empty object. I'm sure it can be fixed, though before spending any more time with it, I'm curious to hear how others would approach the task. I'd gladly appreciate any suggestions. --Stan

  If i have file for eg: a log file created by any background process on unix, how do i view the data that getting updated each and every time. i know that i can use tail command to see the file.but let's say i have used tail -10 file.txt it will give the last 10 lines.but if lets say at one time 10 lines got added and at the next instance it has been added 2 lines. now from the tail command i can see previous 8 lines also.i don't want this.i want only those two lines which were added. In short i want to view only those lines which were appended.how can i do this?

  I'm trying to add suggestions to product pages along the lines of : "Customers who purchased this item also purchased x and y". The way the data is compiled right now is a mysql table with 3 rows. PRODUCT | CUSTOMER |QUANTITY Product is the product ID. Customer is the customer ID. Quantity is the number of time that product was bought by that customer. For each product description page, the system needs to figure out which users bought that product, what other products those users bought, in what quantity and then return the 2 products that were bought the most by people who bought the current product. Hopefully this makes sense and someone can point me in the right directions as to what the mysql query should look like. Thanks.

• SQLServer Replication, dealing with updating data in a subscriber without merging with the publisher

  To simplify my problem, picture two databases, one is a publisher, one is a replicated subscriber. Most of the time, changes are configured in the publisher, and pushed to the subscriber once per day using transactional replication. (The subscriber is the main production database). However, on a rare occasion, we need to make a change directly to the subscriber database. This does not break replication, however to ensure consistency, we also want to replicate this single change back to the publisher database. My first thought was to make both databases publishers to each other, but that does not work. Merge replication also does not work as that merges the data together, and we really only want to push that single change from the subscriber back to the publisher. Is there some other replication scheme I can use here, or do I need to invent my own thing?

• C# .net -> SQLite error: Unable to open the database file

  Hello all, I'm getting "System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: Unable to open the database file." when I attempt to access the database to save a record upon the "first" opening of my program. Here's the thing, it works fine when debugging locally in Visual Studio, but stops working when I package the program in an installer, and then install the program somewhere. I was guessing that it was the location of the database, which I just have set at database.s3db without a path, because it is stored next to the program's exe, but how could that cause problems? I'm at a loss, any further ideas or suggestions for solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

• UITableView gives empty table, does not load data

  Hi, Everything works fine when the view that holds my table is the main (first) view. However, when it's not the first view and I switch into that view, my table does not load data and I get an empty table. Using NSLog I can tell that the program is not invoking numberOfRowsInSection and cellForRowAtIndexPath. I have <UITableViewDataSource, UITableViewDelegate>, IBOutlet UITableview *tableView all declared. They are also connected in the InterfaceBuilder. I tried using viewWillAppear and [tableView reloadData] but that did not help. I'm new to iPhone development and your help is appreciated!

  I have a Plone site that has a lot of data in it and I would like to query the database for usage statistics; ie How many cals with more than 1 entries, how many blogs per group with entries after a given date, etc. I want to run the script from the command line... something like so: bin/instance [script name] I've been googling for a while now but can't find out how to do this.   Why doesn't this work in IBM Data Studio (Eclipse): IF EXISTS (SELECT 1 FROM SYSIBM.SYSVIEWS WHERE NAME = 'MYVIEW' AND CREATOR = 'MYSCHEMA') THEN DROP VIEW MYSCHEMA.MYVIEW; END IF; I have a feeling it has to do with statement terminators (;) but I can't find a syntax that works. Another similar question at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/355687/how-to-check-a-procedure-view-table-exists-or-not-before-dropping-it-in-db2-9-1 suggests that they had to create a proc but this isn't a solution for us.
