    Seriously, I don't know what to google. Here's the thing, I like this java-like code writting: if (condition == true) { doSomeStuff(); } But VisualStudio "helps" me with his own "style", which I don't like and I am unable to change (after rather big time of desperate checking all settings :/) if (condition == true) { DoStuff(); } I obviously want the "{" char to be in same line where condition is ... I am using MS Visual Studio 2010 professional Any help appreciated!

  • Facebook Graph API: Feed publishing showing up as link type instead of status?

    So I'm publishing to a Facebook Group's Feed in my app, using the Graph API. It works fine, except facebook keeps treating the published info as a 'link' feed item type instead of 'status' like it does when I enter the same from facebook's site. eg: string url = "https://graph.facebook.com/<id-of-group/feed?access_token=<access-token>"; string data = "message=hello"; webClient.UploadString(url, "POST", data); Now when I pull the feed items, the json that is returned has "item":"link", with "link":"http://www.facebook.com", whereas I'd expect it to be "item":"status" and no or an empty "link" property. Any ideas?

  • How to add a Page to Frame using code in WPF

    I have a Window where I have put a Frame. I would like to add a Page to the Frame when I click a button that is also on the Window but not in the Frame. There are several buttons in the Window and each click on a button should load a different Page in the Frame. Since I'm a total newbie on this WPF stuff it's quite possible that this approach is not the best and I have thought about replacing the Frame with a Canvas and then make UserControls instead of Pages that will be added to the Canvas. I welcome any ideas and suggestions on how to best solve this. I aiming for a functionality that is similar to the application Billy Hollis demonstrated in dnrtv episode 115. The code uses a UIPickerView, but there's no reason to use a different view controller, like a UITableViewController that uses a table instead of a picker.   • Is it possible to provide a resize indication (resizer-grip) on a form without adding a status bar?

    I would like to have a resize indication on a windows forms Form (the same resize-grip as when you have a status bar). I do not want to add a status bar to the form - that would break the design of the form. The form can have various controls inside that are docked (Fill). I have not found any solution to this besides drawing the resize indication in lower right corner of every control, which is not very feasible. Is this possible without adding a picture of the resize grip to every control that can be docked in the form?

    Not quite sure whether I'm using the right terminology here, but Netbeans has a very nice feature where e.g. if you start typing for it will offer to write a code fragment looping over an array or list, basing it on the name and type of an array or list variable actually in scope. If more than one such variable is in scope it will guess, sometimes correctly and sometimes not. Is there a way to aim this feature at the correct array/list variable?

Edit: some clarification; I don't necessarily expect the compiler to generate the AST for me - a parser would be fine, although I'd like to use something "official." I mean I know that technically almost anything can be done, but im wondering if this can be done in a reasonable amount of time?
