Are there any auto compiling scripts like the ones used at ideone.com and codepad.org available?
(preferably open source, and which execute the code in a safe environment.)
Contrary to Code Contracts in C#, in JML Code Contracts are just text that's used in the form of comments in the header of a method. Wouldn't it be better to have them exposed as Annotations, then? That way even when compiling the information would persist on the .class's metadata, contrary to comments, that get erased.
Am I missing something?
Thanks
I generate some code using CXF from a WSDL-file. When compiling the code with version "1.6.0_16" with the flag -Xlint I get the following warning:
warning: [cast] redundant cast to javax.xml.bind.JAXBElement<java.lang.Boolean>
[javac] this.r = ((JAXBElement<Boolean> ) value);
What does the warning mean, should I be worried? As I have generated and not written the code, what can I do to get rid of this specific warning?
Hi, I'm trying out Visual studio 2010 by compiling a C program. After it displays the solution in the "DOS" command window, the window is immediately closed. In Visual studio 2008, one gets the message press any key to continue and pressing a key closes the command prompt window. How do I set this behavior in 2010?
Thanks a lot...
i have made a program in C using the gcc compiler. Right now it has no GUI components. So, I am basically compiling it with makefile and running it in the terminal. I need to deploy it so that the executable is standalone. So, basically I want the executable to have an icon and when clicked start the program in the terminal. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
I'm on a Mac and I'm trying to make a Vim plugin for compiling/running actionscript files.
First, I need to run mxmlc on the command line, but to do that I have to keep on typing the path to it. Where do I place it so that I don't have to retype the path?
is .net framework 3 compatible with xp? i install visual studio 9.0 (.net 3.5) on win XP. when i compile a WPF project and try to run it, this error occurs:
cannot initialize application ...... at address 0x<some digits>
(antivirus protection is off)
after first fail of wpf, all other project types (windows application, console &...) after compiling don't run.
where is problem?
Hi,
I want to execute the slot of different class. When i execute this code its compiling without any error but not getting Output
pendrive1::pendrive1()
{
UI_CDBurn Obj;
connect( Obj.penDrive, SIGNAL(clicked()),&Obj , SLOT(caller()));
}
Here my slot is not working. Slot in UI_CDBurn is public. But when i called with a button in pendrive1 class its working fine
connect( ui.pushButton, SIGNAL(clicked()),Obj , SLOT( caller())); // Working File
In xcode, while compiling apps with gcc, I want to throw compilation time errors if things like NSZombieEnabled is on for a distribution release, thus ensuring that compilation will fail and I won't accidentally do something stupid.
I did some googling, but could not figure out how to cause the compiler to bail if a certain condition is met. Surely it must be easy, am I just not finding it?
From a basic test program. . .
package main
/*
#include <stdio.h>
static void test() {
printf("hello world");
}
*/
import "C"
func main() {
C.test();
}
I do "cgo hello_cgo.go" and get:
_cgo_.o
_cgo_defun.c
_cgo_gotypes.go
hello_cgo.cgo1.go
hello_cgo.cgo2.c
How do I go about compiling from here to an exe?
When i compiled an empty java file it didn't produce any class file. So wanted to know how compiler react when compiling an empty java file. It should have generated an empty class file in this, why it didn't?
The Android docs indicate that I should ship with different icons for different resolution phone screens. http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/screens_support.html#qualifiers
res/drawable-ldpi/my_icon.png // icon image for low density
res/drawable-mdpi/dpi/my_icon.png // icon for medium density
res/drawable-hdpi/my_icon.png // icon image for high density
This does not work when compiling with Eclipse for the Android. Does anyone has an example of a manifest file that works for multiple resolution icons?
Thanks,
Gerry
Could anyone please tell how jre directory help in the running java programs? I'm calling java interpretor by using java command, and that is in JDK directory, then how could jre directory help in running java programs and jdk for compiling?
This code is compiling clean. But when I run this, it gives exception "Access violation writing location" at line 9.
void reverse(char *word)
{
int len = strlen(word);
len = len-1;
char * temp= word;
int i =0;
while (len >=0)
{
word[i] = temp[len-1]; //line9
++i;--len;
}
word[i] = '\0';
}
template<typename T>
class CConstraint
{
public:
CConstraint()
{
}
virtual ~CConstraint()
{
}
template <typename TL>
void Verify(int position, int constraints[])
{
}
template <>
void Verify<int>(int, int[])
{
}
};
Compiling this under g++ gives the following error:
Explicit specialization in non-namespace scope 'class CConstraint'
In VC, it compiles fine. Can anyone please let me know the workaround?
Noob question, apologies. I'm compiling Java in Windows Vista's command-line and have so many syntax errors that some are being pushed off the top (a lot of 'class, interface or enum expected' errors which leads me to believe it's an obvious syntax mistake early on in the code that I can't spot). Does anyone know how I could get it to display those first errors?
Thanks in advance for the help.
I have a makefile that depending on some properties sets vpath and generates a list of source files into one variable. I need to run the makefile without compiling anything (the compilation is actually handled by a different makefile) and just see to which real files the filenames get matched depending on the vpath settings.
I get the following errors:
error: missing terminating " character
and
error: stray `\' in program
In this line of C code:
system("sqlite3 -html /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger/el.db \"SELECT service_id, event_type_id,free_text, remote_uid FROM Events WHERE remote_uid=\'%d\' ORDER BY start_time DESC;\" > lol.html", nr);
"nr" is a integer variable.
I have gone over this so many times but are totally stuck of finding a solution.
EDIT: The errors is the ouput while compiling with gcc if I didn't make that clear.
I have heard that in Haskell, creating a multi-threaded application is as easy as taking a standard Haskell application and compiling it with the -threaded flag. Other cases, however, have described the use of a par command within the actual source code.
What is the state of Haskell multi-threading? How easy is it to introduce into programs? Is there a good multi-threading tutorial that goes over these different commands and their uses?
I have read under: Compiling Web Application Projects (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa983464.aspx)
... this compilation model creates a single assembly, you can specify attributes, such as assembly name and version.
You can supply a PATH (directory name only) in the Visual Studio "Build Options".
But where can the file name for the assembly be specified?
Im testing something where im compiling some code and analysing output with a perl script.
So first i run make, manually copy&paste the output to errors.txt and then running my perl script (running: perl analysis.pl) in terminal.
Is there away I can do this just with one line in bash?
program is compiling properly, but it is not running. it gives error classnotfoundexception ..i have already included the library path to the classpath ..
Whenever I change my python source files in my Django project, the .pyc files become out of date. Of course that's because I need to recompile them in order to test them through my local Apache web server. I would like to get around this manual process by employing some automatic means of compiling them on save, or on build through Eclipse, or something like that. What's the best and proper way to do this?
Hi,
I'd like to compile a c programm developed for linux using cc under os x.
It includes the header sys/io.h.
When compiling I get the error that this file could not be found?
Isn't there any sys/io.h header file under os x?
Any help would be really appreciated!
Thanks!
I have an ASP.NET website with a regular expression validator text box.
I have changed the expression in the regular expression validation property "validator expression" and after compiling (rebuild) and running, the validation CHANGEs are not reflecting.
The previous validation is working fine but the changed validation is not working.
Please help me!

Second code:
