    In databases you might take about one-to-many. This means there's one thing that maps to zero or more others. In this kind of style I'm looking for words that define min/max amounts of things. So far, I have: min max one 1 1 many 0 infinite optional 0 1 ??? 1 infinite Is there a single word that fits '???' to mean more than one? Do you have better alternatives for 'optional'? I'm wondering if there are any conventional names for those concepts?

  • Cannot Connect To VMWare Guest OS Using NEither RDP Nor

    Hi, I have a PC (Windows XP SP3) with VMWare Workstation 7 installed. The VMWare hosts Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition R2. RealVNC (4.1.3) is installed on both OS'es. Both of them use Hamachi2. Host OS (WinXP) also runs ZoneAlarm Firewall. Hamachi network is set as trusted. My goal is to allow RDP and VNC connections to be made to the guest OS (Windows Server 2003). Both options work absolutely fine if I connect from the host OS. However I have problems when other computers from our Hamachi network try to connect the guest OS (Win2K3). 1) RDP connections. RDP window opens, shows black content and after 15-20 seconds displays following error: http://lh6.ggpht.com/_yQhsRRimgKU/TArRrtiteQI/AAAAAAAABZA/e96za-y9wzo/rdp_error.JPG 2) RealVCN connections. Users are able to connect but all they see is a black screen inside VNC window. At the same their input (keystrokes or mouse moves/clicks) are visible when looking at the console window of the Win2K3. I really appreciate any ideas on how to resolve mentioned problems.     Its annoying that the default ffmpeg in ubuntu's repositories is outdated and hobbled for legal reasons, however, there's a great page on the forums that walks you through building it from scratch: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=786095 (I also add in support for --enable-libdc1394 --enable-libgsm --enable-libopenjpeg --enable-libschroedinger --enable-libspeex when I build, which is nice, but not essential.) Anyway, I'm getting set to setup a computer lab running ubuntu for a multimedia class I'm teaching, and I was wondering if there was PPA out there that did something similar to what is available when building from scratch. The things I absolutely need from it are up-to-date libxvid, libx264, libfaac, and libmp3lame support plus the un-encumbered stuff (vorbis, theora, vpx). Is there a PPA out there that provides something like this?

    Is it considered an overkill for console application to be design like MVC , MVP or N tier architecture? If not which is more common and if you can link me to simple example of it. I want to implement a tic tac toe game in console application. I have a solution which hold two projects: TicTacToeBusinessLogic (Class library project) and TicTacToeConsoleApplication (Console application project) to represent the view logic. In the TicTacToeConsoleApplication I've Program.cs class which holds the main entry point (public static void Main). Now I face a problem. I want the game to handle its own game flow so I can: Create new GameManager class (from BL) but this causing the view to directly know the BL part. So I'm a little confused how to write it in an acceptable way. Should I use delegates? Please show me a simple example.

    Suffice to say there is now a document in place and I'm the drill sergeant, harassing people to do proper check in, and throw out those who don't.Some people suggest that in a SSIS project, it doesn't really matter if developers don't have the latest version of the project since package check in put the package in the repository, which we can pull out later.  I beg to differ because:When people don't see the package, they might start creating one because their user story require the use of the table.  So they will proceed to create a package and override whatever might already be in the repository.I didn't really see anywhere in the repository to say that which packages were for "deletion".  So I ended up restoring them all, and send the list out to developers.  Then we get into the area where we are relying on people's memory.I'd love to hear other people's experience using Subversion to manage a BI project.
