  • Can not connect to my sql database.

    Hi all, I am trying to connect to mysql database on amazon through a php script, but I am shown this error: Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111 I have tried and searched places and did the following things: In "/etc/mysql/my.cnf" I commented out the line bind address: 127.0.0.1 to allow the acccess to all. checked /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny and made sure that there are no rules present that may cause But still no luck.   • eAccelerator problems. Please help

    I just recently installed eaccelerator and switched php to dso everything was fine on server Server load was about 1-2 (4 cpus) and after some time server got overloaded (Server load increased to 250) and server stopped. In suphp mode server was overloading by traffic so i decided to switch it to eaccelerator and now i am lost... Can someone explain that?

    I have a collection of ripped CDs that were transcoded to a very low bitrate. (and I lost the original MP3s) I'd like to re-rip the CDs to a higher bitrate, and apply the ID3 tags from the existing rips to the new files. (These are custom tags; they will not be found in online databases) Is there any way to automatically copy ID3 tags by length and track number, or do I need to write one myself?

    I did some reorganisation of my mail in Lotus Notes 7 this mornign, and seem to have lost some in the process. Not knowing Notes very well, I have two questions: if I selected some mail in the Inbox using the check-column, and dragged that mail into a folder, then selected some more mail in the Inbox, and hit the Del key, will the group of emails that were dragged into the other folder be deleted too, because I didn't unselect them? is there a way to search in all folders, rather than just the current folder?

    What's the best course of action after the forwarding of domain has been done and apparently the email has been forgotten to be taken into account? I just forwarded the domain to a new server hosting and i forgot to take into account the emails from the old provider? A few concerns arise: the emails won't be lost, right? will pointing the MX records to the old mail server IP address fix this issue right away? Thanks!

  • Multiple [Stand-alone] zip files creation?

    How can I automatically zip a group of files into multiple zip files (say, 2mb in size for each file), and that each zip file is a stand-alone zip file? (i.e. not mult-volume zip files, that you can't lost any one of the files, otherwise you can't unzip) Is there any tools available to do so? Actually I just need to group the files into many groups, 2mb each etc, zipped or not zipped doesn't matter thx!

  • Why does pinging a local router return "Destination Host Unreachable"?

    I have two tomato routers. One is bridged wirelessly with the other. I have a new server on the network. It's running Ubuntu Server 11.04. They are all connected like this: A - Linux PC B - New Server C - Mac Mini D - Macbook T1 - Tomato 1 T2 - Tomato 2 They are connected like so: A -----+-T1 ==== wireless bridge ==== T2----- ADSL modem | | C & D Connected wirelessly to T2 B -----+ A, C & D do not experience any issues. I have an active SSH session to B from A and it's not experiencing any loss. B, the new server occasionally cannot ping T2 and therefore cannot connect to the internet. However, A can always contact B and B can ping A and B When the network is lost, B can still ping T1, but not T2 yet at the same as B has lost connection to T2, A can still ping T2. Any ideas on what this could be? there is nothing that gives any clues in any of the logs on either router or the linux server. One thing that is interesting is that I set up a ping running between B and T2.     Apparently, on my notebook, I have suddenly lost any ability to use network connections, involving SSL and/or data encryption, provided my MS: 1) remote desktop connections: Because of an error in data encryption, this session will end 2) browse HTTPS sites: Can't browse HTTPS pages. TLS error 3) communicate over WiFi, while wired is ok Is there any possible one central reason for all of these problems in Windows? Third party applications, like Putty, works fine. Is it possible to reset/repair certificate store or something in Windows?

The license was bought online and emailed to someone, however, that computer crashed and the email with the license is lost. Is there a way to recover the license from the laptop?     I have partially downloaded a torrent file in ubuntu and unfortunately i renamed it. and after some time i resumed the remaining torrent file.but the torrent then got downloaded with its default name and i lost the complete file information into two different files... please help me out...is there any way that i can produce the whole information into one file...i can't open either file that means both file got corrupted or so...the file is in mp4 format...please help me

    I have an issue with IIS7 url rewrite module, when I add following rule I get an 404 error on all pages. <rule name="Remove .aspx" stopProcessing="true"> <match url="(.+)\.aspx" /> <action type="Redirect" redirectType="Permanent" url="{R:1}" /> All I want to do to remove all files extensions.     I've had an offer of a 256MB PC2700 SODIMM, apparently from an iBook, to upgrade a Toshiba laptop. Is that suitable? I've seen "DDR 266 SODIMM" on sale as the official upgrade memory. How in general should I work this out? I've long since lost track of what memory goes with what system.
