If you’ve got a Verizon Mi-Fi and you’re having problems with it disconnecting all the time, there’s a quick and easy fix—you’ll just need to upgrade the firmware to the latest version. Here’s how to do it, and fix your connection issues.
If you aren’t experiencing any issues at all, you might not want to upgrade, but in our experience, the Mi-Fi will sometimes disconnect in certain areas—and this is the solution. Once you’ve run the update, the problems are mostly gone.
Note: there are a number of difference Mi-Fi type of devices from Verizon, and the same process should work for all of them.
