  Hello everyone, I have a 3D object with about 2000 or 3000 triangles. I want to reduce the number of triangle without affecting shape of object. for eg, I have two triangles, (1,1.5,2) (1.5,1.5,2) (1.7,2,2) (1.5,1.5,2) (1.7,2,2) (2,1.5,2) In this case these two triangle is same as a single triangle - (1,1.5,2) (2,1.5,2) (1.7,2,2) I dont want the manual method, But if there is any direct function or such thing which will reduce my triangle list. • IE8 disappearing image bug

  In IE8 (& maybe others), when I leave my page to go to another tab in IE and then come back to my page's tab, each time the cursor runs over an image it disappears until I refresh the page. I've heard of disappearing image bugs, but I couldn't find anything on this particular case, especially given this isn't a weird pre-IE8 bug.   I am having a problem figuring how to check a string for the same characters in a row then count that same character in a row then printing it out then giving the location of the last occorance of that character count then printing it out then moving to the next character in the string that is different then the previous character and the program is case sensitive. So the input could be: aaaaAAAbbbddccc How would I compress this string to: a4A3b3d2c3 ? and then decompress it?

  Hi all, I have some files that in windows enable me to prompt messages when a device is plugged. In case it is lost it pops up a message that says the user to please return it to he owner. Does anybody know how can I do this in Linux? I doesnt need to be a complex thing, it can be an option in a right clic menu, or a splashcreen, or anything, just to make sure that the owner of the device may be looking for it.

  hi, I'm passing data to a ListView to display some restaurant names. Now when clicking on an item I'd like to start another activity to display more restaurant data. I'm not sure about how to do it. Shall I pass all the restaurant data in a bundle through the intent object? Or shall I just pass the restaurant id and get the data in the other activity? In that case, how can I access my restaurantList from the other activity? In any case, how can I get data from the restaurant I clicked on (the view only contains the name)? Any help, pointers welcome!
