    I have created a COM component that uses CRViewer to load and display some reports. i consume this COM control on the windows application using C#. THe problem is before vista SP1 was installed the CRViewer is to load propery and show the report but after SP1 it does not , CRViewer.IsBusy is always set to true.

  • Mandatory Embedded schema field not throwing excepiton when empty in SDL Tridion 2011

    I am pulling back to the basic schema questions in Tridion 2011. I have an embedded schema with three optional fields and I referred this schema in a content schema and marked it as mandatory. When I create a component and save it without entering data to this mandatory field; CME is not throwing any exception and proceeds with saving. Please let me know if there are any patches to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance.

  • Best forum solution for symfony

    I'm looking for a good solution to integrate a forum in a symfony application. Something like phpBB. I've seen the plugins to integrate just the user of phpBB with symfony but that's not enough, and mapping database tables is a lame aprouch. So if anybody knows a good working component of a forum that would go well with a symfony app then I would really apreciate it :) Thanks !

    Hi Friends, I used Vaadin Table component in my application and i set a page length to 15, Length of the Table is not consistent in different screens resolutions . For example in 1440 x 900 resolution height of the table is big but in 1280 x 1024 resolution the height of the table is less .     I have a website that is using the viewport META tag to tell mobile browsers how to display content ( ). Viewing the page in the Android browser looks correct (and iPhone, etc). When I load the page into a WebView component in an android Application, the WebView ignores the "VIEWPORT" tag, and renders the page at "full" resolution, which is zoomed-in in this case.

I've noticed that some form processors make a mess out of posted TinyURLs (converting the thing to a broken 'tinyurl": "http:\/?\/?tinyurl.com\/?whatever", "ok": tr') while leaving alone other plain URLs. I've seen it happen in WordPress, and I've seen it here on SO (eg.: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2508690/whats-the-most-efficient-way-to-setup-a-multi-lingual-website - second comment to first answer). Has anybody looked into what component or function is doing this? Is there a way to prevent it?

    We are using two load balancing server for asp.net site in that we have a functionality which will create a receipt of order in pdf using abcpdf component it was working fine without load balancing server and but when we move it to load balancing server it is giving errors like.     I want to make a component that includes a list of integers as one of its serialized properties. I know I can't declare a TList<integer> as a published property, because it doesn't descend from TPersistent. I've read that you can define "fake" published properties if you override DefineProperties, but I'm not quite sure how that works, especially when it comes to creating a fake property that's a list, not a single value. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Hi all, currently I'm assigning a TextWriter to the Log property of my Linq to Sql data context (per request instancing) and write this to my logging when an exception is thrown while executing a stored procedure (is strongly typed mapped in the context, so not executing a custom command) however when using ADO.NET we normally inspect the SqlCommand upon unhandled exception to read out the parameters and log them is it possible to access the SqlCommand that was used for executing a Stored Procedure in L2S so we can reuse that existing logging component? This would be far nicer than the current Log TextWriter solution.... greetings, Tim
