The loaded .swf - is passed to me as is and I can't edit - it has some as3 functions in it Is it possible in the "parent" application (the one with ) to override functions included in the "child" swf (the imported one)?     When moving to Spring 2.5.x I found that it adds more stereotype annotations (on top of @Repository from 2.0): @Component, @Service and @Controller. How do you use them? Do you rely on implicit Spring support or you define custom stereotype specific functions/aspects/features? Or is it predominately for marking beans (compile time, conceptual, etc.)?

I need to be able to extend the Eclipse Java Editor component and add coloured overlays to the code based on pluggable external metrics. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any kind of syntax highlighting extension point. Does anyone know how I might be able to extend the exisitng eclipse Java Editor to add custom highlighting rules? I have a vb.net web form with a html editor, when I add a hyperlink to the html editor, for example my application website for instance http://myapplication/myloginpage.aspx When I run and click the link I can browse my application from inside the Html Editor, which is so weird. How do I stop this from happening. This is an Intranet application. And the component for Html Editor is of TMS.

    Hi, I'm currently adding a PDF viewer in a Delphi program using TAcroPDF. My problem is, the touch screens that need to show the PDF are rather small, so I wanted to add bigger buttons for scrolling. I thought I could use the function ScrollBy(DeltaX, DeltaY), but the function scrolls the component within it's container in stead of scrolling the document itself. Is there some way to scroll the PDF document?

    I am trying to implement position-sensitive zooming inside a JScrollPane. The JScrollPane contains a component with a customized 'paint' that will draw itself inside whatever space it is allocated - so zooming is as easy as using a MouseWheelListener that resizes the inner component as required. But I also want zooming into (or out of) a point to keep that point as central as possible within the resulting zoomed-in (or -out) view (this is what I refer to as 'position-sensitive' zooming), similar to how zooming works in google maps. I am sure this has been done many times before - does anybody know the "right" way to do it under Java Swing?. Would it be better to play with Graphic2D's transformations instead of using JScrollPanes?   • flex coverflow adding links to the images

    Hi, I'm using sebastiaan holtrop's cover flow component in Flex. I would like to be able to add the sources to the images using xml. I would also like each image to have its own URL assosiated with it, so when I click it (if it's in the front of the coverflow), I go to that URL. I'm a bit clueless as to how to get that done (this is the first time I use Flex and the project docs think I'm a higher level Flex programmer...). Thanks, Niv

  • JSF Ajax refresh issue

    In my JSF page, I have a dropdown that needs to be populated onload of the page which is set in request scope, now I have a Ajax call that refreshes a part of the page. The Ajax piece works fine but the issue is on refresh it also calls the getter for the Dropdown and returns null ( because its in request scope). To me it makes no sense to call the getter for a component that's not part of the Ajax refresh. Am I doing it correct , please suggest.

  • Why encodeXxx methods in UIComponent accept FacesContext parameter?

    I haven't ever before created custom component in jsf so I've noticed it only now that methods like encodeBegin(), encodeEnd() etc accept FacesContext parameter. FacesContext instance can usually be received with FacesContext.getCurrentInstance(). So, I wonder whether these methods have FacesContext parameter just for convenience or some different objects can be passed there (maybe from external resources..). If the latter is possible then could you give an example pls.

  • Wicket WAR in Jetty: .html files not on classpath

    Hi, I deployed a Wicket-based app's .war file to Jetty 7.0.2. The problem is that Jetty copies the classpath to a temp dir, but only copies *.class, so *.html is not available for the classloader and I get the error: WicketMessage: Markup of type 'html' for component 'cz.dynawest.wicket.chat.ChatPage' not found. Copying the war as an expanded directory helped. Still, I am wondering how to configure Jetty to copy everything. And, with mvn jetty:run I get the same error. Thanks, Ondra
