My idea is : Select all post&page's images by regex from MySQL Navigate the image url and get the response header (404 ,403 error etc) print a report Since i don't need actual to download the binary file, so in performance ,compare in CURL , fopen , fsocketopen Which one is worst to use? And one more question, which method can execute in multi-thread?

    Hi, I was trying to make a multiplayer card game. I know networking concepts, so I know how to handle data between successive turns. I Haven't done a similar thing before so if any one could point me to a tutorial, that would be nice. I am comfortable with html/php/javascript and a bit of adobe flash.     So what I'm trying to do here is get the headers of a given URL so I can determine the mime-type. I want to be able to see if http://somedomain/foo/ will return an html document or a jpg image for example. Thus, I need to figure out how to send a HEAD request so that I can read the mime-type without having to download the content. Does anyone know of an easy way of doing this?

    Dear All, I've download Windows 7 SDK which was downloaded at the time of the beta release. Now I upgraded to RC and trying with some Direct2D samples. But I can't create the factory pointer using D2D1CreateFactory API. It's always returns NULL. Even the samples downloaded from MSDN is also not working well. There are some changes from Beta - RC Is this because of the version mismatch of SDK?

I've found good instructions for creating the links to launch the Market but this assumes that you are the developer of the app in question and know the exact package name. Is there any way to get the package name, other than just contacting the developers and asking? For the iPhone, I found easy instructions for getting the URL I need from the iTunes store, so I'm looking for info like that.

    phing 2.4.1 (current stable version) doesn't have an SSH Task to do remote scripting. In the current trunk version, there is a SSH Task that we would like to use. How can I upgrade my current phing installation (2.4.1) to the latest build? Can I use pear for that without breaking my current phing install? Or would it be better to download only the SSH Task and add that file manually to the stable phing install?

My question is, how do you develop BlackBerry applications: do you use the simulators - can you relay on them. If an application works on the simulator, does it works 1:1 on the phone? I know the industry's standard language is C++, for 3D graphics the main choice is between Direct 3D and OpenGL, but what is the most widely used GUI framework?   • Pull info from Excel Spreadsheet into C# Web Application

    I want to show information from an excel spreadsheet in a web page. The xls will have maybe 5 columns, and as many rows as needed. The columns will be 'Name', 'Created Date', 'Expired Date', 'Owner', and maybe down the road maybe more.
