    I am trying to run java command in linux server it was running well but today when I tried to run java I got some error- Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap Could not create the Java virtual machine. my memory space is - root@vps [~]# free -m total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 8192 226 7965 0 0 0 -/+ buffers/cache: 226 7965 Swap: 0 0 0 How can I solve this problem.

  • NFS server is ignoring anonuid?

    On NFS server I've got user with UID=1024 and GID=1204. On client side too. Both servers are CentOS 6.4 (2.6.32-358.2.1.el6.x86_64). Right now anonuid/anongid is not working. Files aren't mapped to 1024 uid but to 99 (nobody:x:99:99:Nobody:/:/sbin/nologin). /etc/exports /vol/test10.xxx.xxx.xxx(rw,all_squash,anonuid=1024,anongid=1024) /etc/fstab 10.xxx.xxx.xxx:/vol/test /nas/test nfs nosuid,intr,defaults,_netdev,intr 0 0

  • Win Server 2008 Hanging on "Applying Computer Settings"

    Applied ~8 updates this morning, and on reboot the server just sits on "Applying Computer Settings". I've let it sit for a max of almost 40m with no response. I hard-booted (/duck) and can get into safe-mode. From there it applies it's updates and is ok. But still on normal boot gets stuck in "applying". I've tried uninstalling the updates from safe-mode with the same reaction. Any insights?

  • User not able to change permissions on folder in network share for Windows Server 2003

    I have a user that has rights to change permissions within a certain folder on a Windows Server 2003 network share. Although I grant this person the rights to change permission and ownership this person cannot change any permissions. The network share is also set to allow everyone full control. (I understand it is bad practice yet this is how it was first configured) Is there any reason why this domain user cannot modify permissions on the folder and files they create?

    How can I list all files (including system and hidden) on all hard drives (not removable drives)? I think in something like a: dir -a -h *.* /s > file.txt but this is for the specific drive where I'm. How can I do something like that but with C:, D:, etc, but I don't know the DOS's name of the drivers, and i need a .bat to do this (an automatic listing). Implementer can't also know the names of drivers.

    I have the following folder structure on my apache! .../var/www/www.x.tt/htdocs .../var/www/www.y.tt/htdocs I have defined a virtual host for each. So if I type in www.x.tt in my browser I get to the www.x.tt site. And the same for www.y.tt. But now my question! If I type in the server address or the server host name I get to the ../var/www directory but I want that the user will be redirected to the www.x.tt site! Do I have to create a new virtual host for this problem or is it also possible only to add a .htaccess Rule?! Thanks!

    I have the following code that returns the needed data into excel and manually changing the date will change the returned data; however, I'd like to reference a cell with a formula that will make the query a bit more user friendly. I've tried using my limited knowledge of referencing a cell but none have worked. May be I can put the font on my web server? Is this font available for free? Can it slow down my page?     Hello! I've got a strange startup error for Zend Server CE - it's probably easy to fix, but I don't have much experience with Zend Server! I'm running the latest OSX 10.6.6 and the latest Zend Server CE for Mac.     I'm in the middle of upgrading, and purchasing licensing for 3 of our Servers. One will be a Windows Server 2008 machine, running SQL Server 2008. The other two machines will be domain controllers, both running Windows 2003. Our organisation has 30 Users. I understand (through our reseller) that a Windows 2008 licence gives "downgrade" rights to use 2003. Realistically, for the above setup of 3 machines, will I just need one set of 30 CALs for 2008?

In windows system error I am able to see an error pointing to the SCSI driver continuously. The error says: The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Scsi\adpu160m4.
