• How do i make form data not disappear after hitting refresh?

  I went to test my page on another browser. On google chrome i can fill out a form, hit back and forward and still have the data there. Now i need to refresh the page so certain data is correct (such as session id if the cookie expires or user logs out before submitting). I refresh and lose all data.   Looking for a way to rename files that are uploaded by users through a filefield. For example, rename user profile photos using uniqid. I found a good solution for D6 here: http://www.wesjones.net/home/2011/03/drupal-6-how-to-change-filename-on-upload but can't find anything for D7. Another option is to use File (Field) Paths, but (1) the module causes warnings on my setup and (2) seems to be a bit of an overkill to install a general module for a very specific purpose.

I'm using MacVim, and when trying to set shiftround in my .vimrc I get the following error: E518: Unknown option:  shiftround EDIT: However, when I try to :set shiftround manually within Vim, it works and gives no errors. • Trying to connect to a remote server using Eclipse

  I have an Ubuntu server running Tomcat, and I want to connect my Eclipse EE to it so I can work with JSP. I have no problem connecting to a similar Tomcat service when it's installed on my machine (not a server), but whenever I try to connect to the remote server I don't seem to have the option of choosing a Tomcat service. Is there some guide you can recommend (I didn't find one), or is there something I did wrong?

  I have a small app which has Users, Recipes, Ingredients and preparation models A user has many recipes, recipes belong to user and ingredients/preparation belongs to recipes. Now a user can view all recipes but I would like the option to add the particular recipe to a favourites list. Would I need to set a new DB to hold this and then link by associations or could I add a column to the recipe model called fav for example? Im looking for the best practice here or if someone has done this before and can offer any advice that would be appreciated

Putting a counter in the prefs is not an option, since wiping prefs once a month is not a problem for an average user.   Hi, I have an XML will is parsed and then fed to a bunch of Labels. I am trying to add a live element so that the labels refresh automatically from the XML. From what I've read this is possible using a tableView and [tableView reloadData] but the design dictates the use of labels. At the moment the labels only get updated on restarting the app, which is not ideal. Using ViewWillAppear is one option, but want to stick to using lables.
