• Can't set Visible attribute in ASP.NET Panels

  I am having trouble with visible attribute of an ASP.NET Panel control. I have a page that calls a database table and returns the results in a datagrid. Requirements If some of the returned values are null I need to hide the image that's next to it. • HTML Form input textbox not accepting special characters

  Hello, There seems to be a problem, where i can't display the complete value in a html form text input box. When I echo $ title, I get output as "Stacey's Mom" This is the html code I used to show the value. -- This returns the value in textbox as "Stacey". Samething happens when "," or "'" or "/" occurs in the text. How can I show the entire text in the textbox. Help would be much appreciated.

• WPF,XAML: How to set the ZIndex of a particular control to the topmost.

  how do i set any control to the topmost of the screen. For e.g. i have a textblock in a datatemplate or a hierarchichal data template..etc... now i would like to set this textblock to the topmost on mouseover. Setting the Grid.ZIndex value to 1 in the trigger for IsMouseOver doesn't work many times. In order to do that i set the ZIndex value for all the contols to -1 in the window. it worked in one scenario but doesn't work other times. If anyone can get me the details of ZIndex and how to set the control to the topmost without worrying about the other controls, it would be of great help. Note: setting the value of ZIndex to a higher value e.g. 99999 also doesn't work.

What I need is : 4 Dropdowns Only the first dropdown is visible when first entering the page. When selecting a option from dropdown1 the dropdown2 will be populated and so on If there is only 1 option then the dropdown should be hidden If all 4 dropdowns is set and the end-user change dropdown 1, then dropdown2 should be reloaded and the rest be hidden If the user have selected some of the dropdowns(say 1,2 and 3) and hit submit and the page is not accepted on the server side(not valid) the dropdowns should be set exacly as when the user cliked the submit button when the page returns to the user. Any suggestions on this?

  I hear that C isn't so type-safe and I think that I could use that as an advantage for my current project. I'm designing an interpreter with the goal for the VM to be extremely fast, much faster than Ruby and Python, for example. Now I know that premature optimization "is the root of all evil" but this is rather a conceptual problem. I have to use some sort of struct to represent all values in my language (from number over string to list and map) Would the following be possible? struct Value { ValueType type; void* value; } I would store the actual values elsewhere, e.g: a separate array for strings and integers, value* would then point to some member in this table. I would always know the type of the value via the type variable, so there wouldn't be any problems with type errors. Now: Is this even possible in terms of syntax and typing?

• How do I run some VBA code when a cell is changed?

I've already tried Worksheet_Change(), as described at http://www.contextures.com/xlfaqmac.html#WSChange However, this won't work: it only fires when the user changes the value. I want to fire it whenever the value changes, i.e. whenever the spreadsheet recalculates. Any ideas?

  Hi, I'm trying to compile X11R6-7.0 under Ubuntu maverick and got some weird compilation errors I'm unable to resolve myself. I needed X11R6-7.0 as ati catalyst drivers don't support newer xorg and oss drivers don't support 3d acceleration of my hardware. Anyone know what this error message means?   In a project I'm writing code for, I have a void pointer, "implementation", which is a member of a "Hash_map" struct, and points to an "Array_hash_map" struct. The concepts behind this project are not very realistic, but bear with me. The specifications of the project ask that I cast the void pointer "implementation" to an "Array_hash_map" before I can use it in any functions. My question, specifically is, what do I do in the functions to cast the void pointers to the desired struct? Is there one statement at the top of each function that casts them or do I make the cast every time I use "implementation"?   I have an integer array of RGB pixels that looks something like: pixels[0] = <rgb-value of pixel(0,0)> pixels[1] = <rgb-value of pixel(1,0)> pixels[2] = <rgb-value of pixel(2,0)> pixels[3] = <rgb-value of pixel(0,1)> ...etc... And I'm trying to create a BufferedImage from it. I tried the following: BufferedImage img = new BufferedImage(width, height, BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB); img.getRaster().setPixels(0, 0, width, height, pixels); But the resulting image has problems with the color bands. The image is unclear and there are diagonal and horizontal lines through it. What is the proper way to initialize the image with the rgb values? thanks, Jeff

• ASP.net Usercontrol caching viewstate across users?

  I have a usercontrol with asp:textbox controls on it that also performs postbacks. If two users, who are both identified by a different session variable, postback the page within the same second, one user will see the other user's viewstate values in the text boxes. I have validated that this happens by setting a textbox, a session variable, and a cookie to the same value (the same value that identifies the user) and writing to the log when all three don't match. The text box's value is the one that is logged as the other user's value. ASP.net 3.5, IIS 6 Has anyone experienced this issue.

• Parameter has no walue

(the value of at least one complex parameter has not been determined )
