  • Need help helping in converting jquery, ajax, json and asp.net

    I am tying out this tutorial, http://www.ezzylearning.com/tutorial.aspx?tid=5869127. It works perfectly. What I am now trying to do is to host the aspx contents as html file. This html file is hosted on my wampserver which is on my laptop. The asp.net code hosted on my test server.   • Can I have Entity Framework and Linq-to-SQL run together?

    Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible to have both Linq-to-SQL and Entity Framework running side-by-side. Our current configuration is Linq-to-SQL and we'd like to eventually move to EF. But there's just too much going on in the Linq-to-SQL side right now and we'd like to do it in phases. so any chance we can just start writing new stuff in entity framework but leave the older stuff running as is? And is it worth it? Thanks!

I would like to disable this feature since it is almost never what I desire, planning to make further updates later.     Our current setup is that we have two targets, Staging and Live. Collaborators may update the affected component while it is still within the workflow. A final activity is set to publish the related pages to Live. Is it possible to publish component updates (revisions e.g. 2.2, 2.5) to Staging from within the workflow? The TOM API documentation for Page.Publish() method does not seem to have an input parameter to fullfil such purpose.

I know about the existence of the @PrePersist and @PreUpdate annotations, but i don't know how to use their equivalent in my Xml mappings.
