  hi all, I have a functionality where a user is given file to download. It works fine. BUT - 1. How to know whether user has downloaded a file or cancelled it? 2. For the same Apple has mentioned 3 ways, however I am using the method where a Single XCODE proj is used for having 2 targets- iphone & iPad. There are a few queries: two binaries will be created , which I can price differently for selling. Will they need 2 have different certificates from Apple ? My app has Push notifications. So will i require 2 different certificates ?

  Hopefully there's a simple solution to this. I'm setting up a redirect for old search listings, but I don't want any of the query string to carry over. The current rule is: redirect 301 /blog http://newdomain.com But this would redirect the following: http://www.olddomain.com/blog/2009/11/article-name-etc To this: http://newdomain.com/2009/11/article-name-etc When I just want: http://newdomain.com Can this be done in the simple 301 redirect, or will I have to write a mod_rewrite rule?

I know that the fourth argument of htmlSAXParseDoc can be used to pass any user defined data to the callbacks, but I don't have a pointer to xmlParserCtxt.

Since you have to define the buffer size when building the program, but a message can be arbitrarily large, how do you, say, get the mail server to send it to you in parts?   As some of you may know in python2.7/3.2 we'll get OrderedDict with PEP372 however one of the reason the PEP existed was because everyone did their own implementation and they were all sightly incompatible. So which one of the 8 current implementations link text is backwards compatible with the 2.7 odict from python 2.7 in a way we can start using that now and depend on 2.7 in a couple of months?

  Hello, I am doing web based projects in dotnet. Currently I am implementing security using session variables. I keep current user id and user type in session and authenticate user from these session variables (say Session["UserId"],Session["UserName"] and Session["UserType"]) I do authentications. Please guide me how it is insecure ? I heard such security can be broken and applications can be hacked very easily, like it is possible to get session id and directly connect to that session id etc. Please guide me on this thanks
