  I am working on a project similar to a table where the user will be able to add rows. Right now there is just one row type available but I would like to give the user the ability to select from a list without changing the layout of the page. So, I put together a menu that appears on mouseover of the 'add row' link and disappears on mouseout (with a slight delay and fade in/out) using mootools event listeners. It looks like: I am now trying to figure out an easy way to make it so that the list stays available when the user's mouse leaves the 'add a row' link to go to select an item from the list. I looked through various mootools add-ons and tutorial but didn't find anything all that helpful. Does anyone know of a good tutorial guide me through this or can otherwise point me in the right direction here?

• Jquery autosuggest google maps - Load on selection

  At the moment, the Google map code works like this: When you start typing in the input box it loads a list of suggestions. Then when you click on one of these options from the list, it puts it into the input box. However, THEN you still have to click find to load up the result. I want to have it so when you click on an option from the autosuggest list, it automatically loads the result, without having to click "find" afterwards. This is the code I am working with. • Problem with Refreshing data in ExpandableListView

  Hi! My problem is when I want to refresh data in ExpandableListView while being in that current activity. I create adapter and when I want to add new data to list I call again constructor of that adapter(it is my private variable) with all new data....and then I call onContentChanged() method to redraw my list. But what happens is that I cant expand my list any more...like it is blocked or something and logcat isn't saying anything...   I need little help with transferring data from variables, arrays, lists to my SQL Server. Im not bad in SQL, but im not familiar with DataSet, DataTable objects. My data is now stored in list of strings (List). Every string in that list looks similar to this: QWERTY,19920604,0.91,0.35,0.34,0.35,343840 There are about 900000 rows like this. Target datatypes in SQL Server: BIGINT (primary key, im not inserting it, its identity(1,1)) VARCHAR(10), DATE, DECIMAL(10,2), DECIMAL(10,2), DECIMAL(10,2), DECIMAL(10,2), INT How to convert that data to SQL Server data types? How to insert that data into SQL Server? Also i need some progress bar updates between inserts. I could do this using old-fashion SQL command, but i have learn more modern way :)

  As I understand it, when a new class is instantiated in C++, a pointer to the new class is returned, or NULL, if there is insufficient memory. I am writing a class that initializes a linked list in the constructor. If there is an error while initializing the list, I would like the class instantiator to return NULL. For example: MyClass * pRags = new MyClass; If the linked list in the MyClass constructor fails to initialize properly, I would like pRags to equal NULL. I know that I can use flags and additional checks to do this, but I would like to avoid that, if possible. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks.

Preprocessing is ok since I will be calling this function many times over different inputs. priorties: 1. speed. 2. memory I already know I can use (n is number of words, m is average length of the words) 1. a trie, time is O(log(n)), space(best case) is O(log(n*m)), space(worst case) is O(n*m). 2. load the complete list into memory, then binary search, time is O(log(n)), space is O(n*m) I'm not sure about the complexity on tri, please correct me if they are wrong.   Is it possible to provide the following type of fuctionality with informix client tools? As the user types the first two characters of a name, the drop-down list is empty. At the third character, the list fills with just the names beginning with those three characters. At the fourth character, MS-Access completes the first matching name (assuming the combo's AutoExpand is on). Once enough characters are typed to identify the customer, the user tabs to the next field. The time taken to load the combo between keystrokes is minimal. This occurs once only for each entry, unless the user backspaces through the first three characters again. If your list still contains too many records, you can reduce them by another order of magnitude by changing the value of constant conSuburbMin from 3 to 4.

  I have a Logitech webcam, which I can plug into my Windows XP machine via USB. When I open the Device Manager, I can select the webcam and choose Properties--Driver--Driver Details. This gives me the following list of driver filenames: C:\Program Files\Common Files\logishrd\WUApp32.exe [25 more filenames...] C:\WINDOWS\TWAIN_32\QuickCam\reset.wav My question is, is there any way to copy this list to the clipboard? Copying it by hand is a drag.

The reason I'm asking is because we don't want users to lose their sessions. So we want to update the live website with recompile changes in the very wee hours of the morning, but would prefer to make changes during the day to expedite them. • Representing parent-child relationships in SharePoint lists

  I need to create some functionality in our SharePoint app that populates a list or lists with some simple hierarchical data. Each parent record will represent a "submission" and each child record will be a "submission item." There's a 1-to-n relationship between submissions and submission items. Is this practical to do in SharePoint? The only types of list relationships I've done so far are lookup columns, but this seems a bit different. Also, once such a list relationship is established, then what's the best way to create views on this kind of data. I'm almost convinced that it'd be easier just to write this stuff to an external database, but I'd like to give SharePoint a shot in order to take advantage of the automated search capabilities.

• Is it okay to resend to hard bounced emails after X days. What is X?

  If I see an email returned due to a hard bounce, after how many days is it acceptable to resend to that email address. It is possible for emails to be reactivated or for temporary outages, so it doesn't make sense to keep an email in my hard bounce email list forever. I've already seen cases where I receive emails from addresses that were put in my hard bounce email list months ago. Any recommendations? Are there specific recommendations from ISPs?

• Best way to update UI from other classes?

  I've got several nested classes, with the following structure: BackupLocation contains list of BackupClients BackupClients contains a list of BackupVersions BackupVersions contains a list of BackupFiles In my UI - Im populating a combo box with BackupLocations - and have several listboxes for the clients, versions, and files. When processing the BackupLocations - I can update my status bar easily because thats the top level class that the UI creates. But how can I update the status bar and progress bar on each file being processed? Since the BackupFiles are 3 levels deep, I cant see any way to update the UI. The actual processing of the files are within the BackupVersion class - which loads its files. I think it probably has something to do with events and delegates - but am unsure exactly how to proceed with this, any help would be appreciated.

• Haskell: Constrain function on type Double to only work with Integers

  Suppose I'm writing a function that takes a list of integers and returns only those integers in the list that are less than 5.2. I might do something like this: belowThreshold = filter (< 5.2) Easy enough, right? But now I want to constrain this function to only work with input lists of type [Int] for design reasons of my own. This seems like a reasonable request. Alas, no. A declaration that constraints the types as so: belowThreshold :: [Integer] -> [Integer] belowThreshold = filter (< 5.2) Causes a type error. So what's the story here? Why does doing filter (< 5.2) seem to convert my input list into Doubles? How can I make a version of this function that only accepts integer lists and only returns integer lists? Why does the type system hate me?

My problem is I am trying to do is associate these multiple queries into a type of list. This list can later be retrieved and contains all queries that were submitted simultaneously.   I have a function. I pass to it an object with a list of questions and answers. I generate a random number from a range equal to the number of questions in the object. The script check to see if that question has been asked, and if not, it asks it, the correct answer is then passed to a variable correct. I want to give 4 possible answers, each one randomly selected from the list of possible answers. I have this. I just want to know what is the best way to ensure that the correct answer is placed in the list. So far, this is what I have: it puts four answers into four targeted boxes. • Any way to Sync Google Bookmarks to iPhone OTA?

Various Artists - Indie Rock Playlist October 2008.pls'] I can't understand what's going on, why are those two specifically escaping my search.

  I'm trying to figure out how to use the linux "find" command (or another command that will get the job done) to return a list of file paths/directories that do not contain a directory of a certain name. ~/web/domain1.com/public_html/bar ~/web/domain2.com/public_html/ ~/web/domain3.com/public_html/bar ~/web/domain4.com/public_html/ I want all of the paths that don't contain the directory named "bar" (domain2.com and domain4.com). Any idea how I can get find to output such a list? Thanks!
