  • Remove expired PXE certificates from SCCM

    Our SCCM 2007 R2 environment, which runs in native mode, just had its PXE client certificates renewed. Now, the site server automatically blocks the old certificates, but it appears that there is no functionality to actually delete them. I know it doesn't really affect anything other than aesthetics, but as we've had a few renewals now, the certificate list is getting long and cluttered (and unlike my desk, I like to try to keep our servers neat and organized). Does anyone know of a way to remove the old certs?

    Hi guys, I've got a Windows 2003 x86 server with a small WSS3.0 installation. Now we've bought a new server with Windows Server 2008 x64 and installed SharePoint Foundation 2010 on it. I wish to transfer the few lists and their view from the old WSS3 to SP2010. How should I do this? All the migration websites I've read talk about preparing, but no-one really say how to migrate from one x86 2007 server to a x64 2010 server. Cheers Nik

  • Exchange 2010 setup /prepareAD fails to run

    I've tried installing Exchange 2010 on Windows Server 2008 R2 (only domain controller and all-in-one system). I did setup.exe /prepareAD, setup /prepareSchema and it worked fine the first time I did it. Unfortunately due to problem with Hub Transport installation related to (at least from what I've read) IPv6 being disabled (some say disabling it helped them while some enabling helped them). I did it the proper way by using registry entry to disable IPv6 but it still errored out. So i managed to uninstall everything (renamed some old entries in registry of failed Hub Transport roles and tried to reinstal Exchange after rebooting server. Unfortunetly running setup /prepareAD now gives an error: D:setup /PrepareAd Welcome to Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Unattended Setup By continuing the installation process, you agree to the license terms of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010.     So, I've been trying to rename some movie files using regular expressions, but so far I have been only marginally successful. The goal is to parse files like this: 2001.A.Space.Odyssey.1968.720p.BluRay.DD5.1.x264-LiNG.mkv And rename them Like this: 2001 A Space Odyssey (1968).mkv I created the pattern: ^(.+).(\d{4}).+.(mp4|avi|mkv)$ With the output: \1 (\2).\3 Now, this works perfectly fine when I have movies with one-word titles, but when there is more than one word separated by a period, the regex fails to grab anything. What am I doing wrong here?

    Hello, sometimes I want to send newsletters to my customers. The problem is, that some of the emails get caught as spam messages. Mostly by Outlook at the client (even in my own Outlook 2007). Now I want to know what should be done to create "good" emails. I know about reverse lookup etc., but what about a unsubscribe link with an unique ID does that increase a spam rating? Regards, Uwe

    I am trying to make an export of a list in SharePoint to an Excel spreadsheet. I have added all needed fields to my default view of the list, (like Publishing Start Date / End date) but some fields (like Publishing Start Date / End date) don't show up in Excel. Any idea? EDIT: My setup is a MOSS standard edition, the needed fields (Publishing Start Date / End date) are standard SharePoint publishing fields. The versions of Excel I tried it with are 2003 and 2007

  • How to make Chrome spell check the whole text field?

    On Firefox, whenever a word is incorrect in a text field, it is underlined in red. Chrome does the same but the difference is that it underlines in red only when I move the caret over the word. So if I want to spell check the whole text field, I have to move the caret from the beginning to the end of the text field. Is it possible to make Chrome works more like Firefox and spell check the entire text field automatically?

Fortunately I had a CSV backup of those contacts, unfortunately I made custom avatars for some of those contacts, and these are gone. How to do a complete backup of contacts (with avatars) so they can be kept safe? PS. I occasionally use Outlook 2007 via IMAP connection, maybe it can be utilized somehow?

    I have MS-DOS 6.22 in a virtual machine (Virtual PC 2007) and I wanted to properly configure the keyboard. The keyboard I have is a French-Canadian one (FYI in Windows XP my keyboard is labeled "Français (Canada) - Français (Canada)" in the control pannel). What do I need to put in autoexec.bat and config.sys in order to use the keyboard properly (Windows 3.11 will be installed later if it matters)?
