  • "Could not load" error whenever I click a work item.

    I have recently installed Team Explorer on one of my machines that has Visual Studio 2008 SP1 installed. But know whenever I click a work item or trying to open a team query I get the following error: Could not load type 'Microsoft.TeamFoundation.WorkItemTracking.Client.WorkItemTypeDeniedOrNotExistException' from assembly 'Microsoft.TeamFoundation.WorkItemTracking.Client, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' I even repaired the installation of Team Explorer 2008 but it does not solve my problem. Does anybody know how can I get rid of this error? Thanks.

    I need to be able to control brightness of my Windows CE 5.0 device. I've found that there is an API function ExtEscape to do that ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa453063 ) but it needs a structure ContrastCmdInputParm (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/Aa447689 ) as a parameter. Since ExtEscape is unmanaged, I cannot pass a .net structure. What is the simplest way to call this function?

    Hi, From what I understand, in order to achieve MSMQ load-balancing, one must use a technology such as NLB. And in order to achieve MSMQ high-availability, one must cluster the related Biztalk Host (and hence the underlying servers have to be in a cluster themselves). Yet, according to Microsoft Documentation, NLB and FailOver Clustering technologies are not compatible.     Is there a way to display the path of the solution in the Visual Studio window's name? By default it displays (SolutionName) - Microsoft Visual Studio, I would like it to instead show something like (SolutionName) - (PathToSolution) - Microsoft Visual Studio. The reason behind this is I can have multiple versions of a project checked out at a time (staging and trunk for example) and I'd like a quick way of checking without going through prompts etc.

    We have an WPF Application build on .net framework 3.5. Some testers find if they uninstall .net framework 3.5, but install .net framework 4.0, our APP fails to launch itself. Dose this mean that .net framework 4.0 does not include all 3.5 libs, and users have to install .net 3.5 even though they have 4.0?   • IE 8 install how to get version 8.0.6001.18702

    I am having trouble installing the latest version of IE namely version 8.0.6001.18702. I downloaded the install from Microsoft but when the install is completed, the version number is reported as IE 8.0.6001.18702IC. This version does not work on all web applications and I need to get the correct final version installed. The problem is compounded by the installation downloading any updates from the Microsoft site so that there is no real control over the final version you get. Any ideas?

    Hey, I'm trying to develop a toolbar for Microsoft Outlook. For getting it to work I need mso.dll and msoutl.olb as an import. My problem is: the path is hardcoded , but it varies for every OS and of course if someone doesn't install Office to the default path. I tried it this way http://support.microsoft.com/kb/234788/en-us/ but it didn't work, because I couldn't get the return value I needed (OK, after four type conversions but I thought there had to be a better way ;) ) Thanks for helping
