• Access to multiple ItemRenderers within an AdvancedDataGrid

  I've create an AdvancedDataGrid where most of the cell are based on an ItemRenderer. The custom ItemRenderer (SoundBox) extends VBox. This custom component allow for simple changes in the background color based on user clicking on a cell. I'm unsure as to how I get access to those items (ItemRenderer/SoundBox) within the Grid. Any Ideas? THX!

• XAML ContextMenu gets bound to wrong row in a DataGrid

  I have a XAML based ContextMenu bound to the rows in a datagrid. It works just fine - until the grid is scrolled! The ICommand is CreateReminderCommand and the CommandParameter is bound to the data item for the row itself. This works just fine - I can right click on a row and it will show me the correct text in the menu item 'Create Reminder for order 12345'. Then I scroll the datagrid down a page. If I keep right clicking on items then suddenly I'll see the wrong order number for a row. I think what must be happening is this : The DataGrid is reusing instances of MenuItem that it has previously created. How can I force a refresh of the ContextMenu when it is displayed for an item that changes? There's no 'Update method on the ContextMenu or ContextMenuService.

  I was trying to follow this tutorial in order to create my own restful web-service using Spring framework. In the returned xml non-string objects are ignored!

• Dropdown menu disappears in IE7

  A weird problem with a dropdown menu in IE7: http://screenr.com/SNM The dropdown disappears when the mouse moves to a part that hovers above other layers. The HTML structure looks like this: <div class="header"> <ul class="nav> <li><a href="">item</a> <ul><li><a href="">sub-item</a></li></ul> </li> </ul> </div><!-- /header--> <div class="featured"></div> <div class="content"></div> The sub-menu is positioned absolutely and has visibility:hidden, then it's set to visible using jQuery, like so: $(".header ul.nav li").hover(function(){ $(this).addClass("hover"); $('ul:first',this).css('visibility', 'visible'); }, function(){ $(this).removeClass("hover"); $('ul:first',this).css('visibility', 'hidden'); }); I had a problem with the dropdown hiding under other content in IE7, fixed easily by giving the z-index to its parent and other divs: *:first-child+html .header { position: relative; z-index: 2 !important; } *:first-child+html .content, *:first-child+html .main, *:first-child+html .primary *:first-child+html .featured { position: relative; z-index: 1 !important; } Now, I have no idea why the menu disappears when hovered over other divs, you can view the site live here: http://dev.gentlecode.net/ama/ubezpieczenia.html I would love any help, been staring at this code for ages now without any solution.   HAy, i have an array Array( [0] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 3 [frame_id] => 3 ) [1] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 3 [frame_id] => 3 ) [2] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 8 [frame_id] => 8 ) [3] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 3 [frame_id] => 3 ) [4] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 3 [frame_id] => 3 ) ) As you can see key 0 is the same as 1,3 and 4. And key 2 is different from them all. When running the array_unique function on them, the only left is Array ( [0] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 3 [frame_id] => 3 ) ) any ideas why array_unique isn't working as expected?

• jQuery - Not sure which method to use, closest() and parent() don't work.

  Hello, again. :) God i feel like i'm spamming stackoverflow, this is my 3rd post for today. Sorry, heh. I even posted a question regarding this before, kind of, but i've changed the code a bit since so i thought it was better to post a new question. $('.pmlist ul li h4 .toggle').click(function() { $(this).closest('.meddel').toggle(250); }); That's what i've got now. The reason why the closest() method isn't working is because the div .meddel is just next to the h4 element. And closest() only crawls right up the DOM tree, ignoring other child elements. Right? parent() works almost the same and doesn't work either. And as i only want to toggle the closest .meddel div in the element, i need something that, yeah justs grabs the nearest one, and not all of them. • Combine 3 select fields and validate as one in my User model in ruby on rails 3

  Ok I have 3 select boxes for selecting date of birth. I have constants setup in my User model to provide months, years etc.. Anyway I can successfully validate these select boxes separately. What I want to do is combine the :day, :month and :year and store in :birthday and validate the whole date as one so I can return 1 error rather than 3 separate ones. Also doing this will make it easier to store the validated date in my birthday field in my database. Really, all we're trying to do is obtain the Hibernate config that already exists in Spring so that those of our customers that already have that information in Spring don't need to duplicate it into a hibernate.cfg.xml file in order to use our Hibernate features.

• Conflict When Two Storyboards Sets the Opacity Property?

  Hi, Background: I have a WPF UserControl (MainControl - not shown in code below) that contains another one (called MyControl in the code below). MainControl has it's DataContext set to an object, that has a Project-property. When MainControl loads, the Project-property is always null. The problem: When MainControl loads, I want to fade in the MyControl using a special storyboard (only used this one time (this "specialFadeInStoryboard" changes Opacity-property of MyControl from 0 to 1). When the Project-property is set to a value other than null, I want the MyControl to fade out using the "fadeOutStoryboard" (changes Opacity-property of MyControl to 0) and if it's set to null afterwards I want to fade it in again this time using the "fadeInStoryboard" (changes Opacity-property of MyControl to 1). However, after adding the code for the "specialFadeInStoryboard", the MyControl is never faded out... I checked the rendered HTML using DeveloperTools and i still found the asp Panel recreated. Someone please advice me what is the actual problem?   I have a simple XML document in the following format: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <object> <strField>Foo</strField> <intField>1</intField> <dateField>2010-11-03</dateField> <boolField>true</boolField> <nilField></nilField> </object> I would like to parse this into a Hash to be passed to Model.create: {:object => { :strField => 'Foo', :intField => 1, :dateField => Date.today, :boolField => true, :nilField => nil }} Sadly there are no "type" attributes in the XML, so using Hash.from_xml just parses each field as a string. What I am looking for is some sort of field type auto detection. I have also looked at Nokogiri, but that can't output as a Hash. What is the simplest and most efficient way to achieve this? • Why are my descenders being cut off when using CSS @font-face?

  I'm using the Google webfonts API to embed Droid Sans on a page. All is fine, except for the descenders (i.e. the dangly bits on y, g, etc). • Problem with saving new elements in my xml at right level

  I have a xml file that looks like this: <DataTalk> <Posts> <TalkPost> <PostType>dialog</PostType> <User>ABBE</User> <Customer>HRM - Heroma</Customer> <PostedDate>0001-01-01T00:00:00</PostedDate> <Message>TEST</Message> </TalkPost> </Posts> </DataTalk> When I now want to save new elements, I do: document.root.add((new XElement("TalkPost", new XElement("PostType", newDialog.PostType), new XElement("User", newDialog.User), new XElement("Customer", newDialog.Customer), new XElement("PostedDate", newDialog.PostDate), new XElement("Message", newDialog.Message))); The problem is now that it gets saved at the wrong hierarchal level. They all gets saved under <datatalk> and not under <posts> that I wan't to. How should I do to save the new elements under the <posts> hierarchically

  Im trying to get my admin routing working with the auth component. I want the following routing to work. Router::connect('/admin', array('controller' => 'pages', 'action' => 'index', 'admin' => true)); but when i type in /admin it redirects to /admin/users/login and display this error. I would like the button's Content to reflect the new value of the property. However, some action on the main window triggers a modal window that has more buttons on it. I was expecting the same tall buttons but no such luck. How do I get the style to propagate into all windows in the application?
