    When you register a plug-in in Microsoft CRM all kinds of things can go wrong. Most commonly, the error I get is "An error occurred." When you look for more detail you just get: "Server was unable to process request" and under detail you see "An unexpected error occurred." Not very helpful. However, there are some good answers out there if you really dig. Anybody out there encountered this and how do you fix it?

According to current requirement, it is required so that Client application just submits the request and then do not wait for the whole process to complete. It will allow user to continue doing other operations in client applications instead of waiting for the whole process to finish. I am in a doubt over which way to go: AsyncPattern = true OR IsOneWay=true Please guide.

    I have two fields, 'from_date' and 'to_date' on my rails form. When a user enters the dates I have to display the number of working days i.e, exclude (sat, sun and a list of other official holidays in a database table). Is this something that should be done in the client side javascript Or is this something that should be done by making an ajax request to rails.   • Hiding iPhone Status Bar pulls my tableViews up by 20px

    When doing an asynchronous HTTP request, I hide the iPhone status bar and animate in my own custom UIViewController to show upload status. So instead of seeing signal strength, carrier, time and battery life, the user gets messages based on the progress of the HTTP request. My status bar is exactly 20px high, and fits nicely where the status bar used to be. When the HTTP activity is done, the custom view animates out and the iPhone status bar animates back in. I would like to just avoid hiding the iPhone status bar completely, and instead bring my custom view ON TOP of the status bar. Currently, if I invoke my custom view animation and keep the iPhone status bar set to visible, my custom view is behind it.   • Seeking during mp3 streaming on Android

    I've got an android app that plays mp3s over HTTP. I give the Mediaplayer a URL using setDataSource, then call start in onPrepared, and all is well. Now, I'm trying to implement seeking. When i call seekTo, I don't see the Mediaplayer make a second request using the Range header to my webserver. From reading around, it seems like Android supports this. Do I need to do anything extra to get it to work? Thanks

    I'm trying to add the Hyves API with DotNetOpenAuth. It requires me to add a method name and some other stuff when accessing RequestTokenEndpoint and AccessTokenEndpoint. (http://trac.hyves-api.nl/wiki/APIUserAuthorization) RequestTokenEndpoint is no problem with "PrepareRequestUserAuthorization(Uri, requestParameters, null)" However I can't find a way to do this with AccessTokenEndpoint. Is there an easy way or can I intercept "ProcessUserAuthorization()" in a way? I tried to manual build a request but no luck yet.

  • How can I manage SQL CE databases in SQL Server Management Studio?

    I created a SDF (SQL CE) database with Visual Studio 2008 (Add / New Item / Local Database). Is it possible to edit this database with SQL Server Management Studio? I tried to attach it but it only offered .mdf and attaching a .sdf file results in "failed to retrieve data for this request". If so, is it possible to create SDF files with Management Studio as well? Or are we stuck with the simple interface of the Visual Studio 2008 database manager?
