  • VideoView problem in 2.1 Emulator of Android?

    Hi, I am using the code available here VideoView Example. This code runs properly on Android emulator 1.6 but not on 2.1. In 2.1 it only plays the audio and not video. I have gone through several other threads where this issue has been mentioned. I will like to know whether this problem is limited to emulator only or the devices also have the same problem.   • Tips/tricks/gotchas for using System.Diagnostics.Process and Process.Start

    I've used Process.Start to shell out and call 7zip to archive stuff I've also used it to call ffmpeg to compress video files. That was a while ago..but I rememeber there was some issue about the pcocess stalling if you don't read off the standardoutput/error. I don't remember everything about it. Does anyone have experience using System.Diagnostics.Process for the purposes of initiating a long running process and waiting for it to finish? Thanks

    Hello... I have created a set of tables (around 20) in MSSql 2008 and entered around 1000 records to appropriate tables. But the issue is that I want that same tables with all the entered data into MSSql 2005 (SQLEXPRESS). Obviously it won't work by taking a backup and restore it into MSSql 2005 as it won't support backward compatibility. Any suggestion would be appreciated.... Thanks in advance....

    Hello, I'm replacing some text with cufon on my page and I'm using jquery stylish select box plugin (http://www.scottdarby.com/plugins/stylish-select/0.4/) to style select boxes. The problem is that, in IE6 and IE7, select box goes under the cufonized text. (the select box is actually an <ul>). Anyone had this issue before? Thanks, Adrian

  • trying to find the comment hook I need for wordpress?

    hi all , I'm writing a wordpress plugin that will execute a certain function when a user submits a comment. The only issue is I'm using the hook "comment_post" which works but if that comment gets stopped by akismet I'm still logging that comment but now my numbers are off from what's on the actual site. Is there a comment_approved type hook I should be using instead? thanks!

    Hi all, I am using Ajax.dll.I have registered the class using Ajax.Utility.RegisterTypeForAjax(typeof(Default)) in page load. I have written a function in the server side to return "Name",like [Ajax.AjaxMethod(HttpSessionStateRequirement.ReadWrite)] public string GetName() { return "Test"; } and i accessed from the page like Default.GetName(). For first time its working fine.after leaving system idle for one hour if click any link, that throws error "default is undefined ". Is there anyway to fix this issue?

  • firefox scales images poorly

    Hi, I'm using Ubuntu Linux and when I zoom in on a page with "CTRL - +" the images become ugly, i.e. Firefox doesn't scale them correctly. Using Chromium-browser I don't have this issue. I have this problem on several machines with various versions of Firefox (3.5-3.6). Here is an example: http://xs.to/image-2AA4_4BDA24DE.jpg . Any idea how to change the scaling behaviour of Firefox?     I am developing an application using Asp.net mvc and jquery. I'd like to use the same naming convention (classes and ids) for html elements in different views. In case when I want to load a partial view asynchronously, the $(document).ready() piece of code in the main view loses its usefulness because none of the patial view's html tags and css naming is recognized by jquery. I certainly do not want to write the same code for every view. What's th ebest way to solve this issue?

But the issue is that, both the sub reports are growing (i.e. their height is not static as the number of records are variable).
