  • How do I save an object that contains and EntitySet?

    Say I have an User (mapped to a User table) and the Edit view (in MVC) displays a multiselectlist of Modules (mapped to a Modules table) that user can access, with the Modules pre-selected based on the User's EntitySet of Modules. I have tried saving the User then deleting all User_Modules manually and adding them back based on what's selected on submit, but the User has a null EntitySet for User.User_Modules. I cannot find the correct way to handle this scenario anywhere online. Can anyone help?

I would like to use the latest revision number to generate AssemblyInfo.cs while compiling. How can I retrieve the latest revision from subversion and use the value in CCNET? Now I would actually like to add you know some controls to these tabs like textboxes(text edit). How do I do this? I go to my mail.xml using eclipse as my ide and go to layout view and I now get a NullPointerException so I can't even drag stuff onto the layout anymore. Thanks

  • Prevent command "del /s" from entering a folder

    I need to recursively remove unnecessary files from a svn repository and i have the following batch file to do this: @echo on del /s ~*.* del /s *.~* del /s Thumbs.db However, this is also deleting the entries under the .svn/ subfolders. Is there any way to prevent this commands from being executed under the .svn/ folders so that it doesn't mess things up? Thanks in advance! EDIT: A solution using Bash (cygwin) would also work for me since i just need to do this once.

    Hi All, I've scoured the Internet but my search-foo must not work if it's out there cause I just can't find the proper search terms to get me the answer I am looking for. So I turn to the experts here as a last resort to point me in the right direction. What I'm trying to do is create a composite control of a text box and a list box but I want to allow the control consumer to decide what to do when say the checkbox is checked/unchecked and I just can't figure it out... Maybe i'm going about it all wrong. What I've done thus far is to: create a custom control that extends ListBox expose a custom DP named "Text" (for the Text box but it's not the important part) craft the generic.xaml so that the list items have a default ItemTemplate/DataTemplate inside the DataTemplate I'm trying to set the "Checked" or "Unchecked" events expose 'wrapper' events as DPs in the custom control that would get 'set' via the template when instatiated As soon as I try something like the following (inside generic.xaml): <DataTemplate> <...> <CheckBox Checked="{TemplateBinding MyCheckedDP}"/> <...> </DataTemplate> I get runtime exceptions, the designer - vs2010 - pukes out a LONG list of errors that are all very similar and nothing I do can make it work. I went so far as to try using the VisualTreeHelper but no magic combination I could find would work nor would it allow me to traverse the tree because when the OnApplyTemplate method fires the listbox items don't exist yet and aren't in the tree. So hopefully this all makes sense but if not please let me know and I'll edit the post for clarifications. Thanks to all for any pointers or thoughts...   • Rails 3.1 text_field form helper and jQuery datepicker date format

    I have a form field in my Rails view like this: <%= f.text_field :date, :class => "datepicker" %> A javascript function converts all input fields of that class to a jQueryUI datepicker. $(".datepicker").datepicker({ dateFormat : "dd MM yy", buttonImageOnly : true, buttonImage : "<%= asset_path('iconDatePicker.gif') %>", showOn : "both", changeMonth : true, changeYear : true, yearRange : "c-20:c+5" }) So far so good. I can edit the record and it persists the date correctly all the way to the DB. My problem is when I want to edit the record again. When the form is pre-populated from the record it displays in 'yyyy-mm-dd' format. The javascript only formats dates which are selected in the datepicker control. Is there any way I can format the date retrieved from the database? At which stage can I do this? Thanks, Dany. EDIT: Ok I realised that its not the category but the link that decides which "collection" (folder) a resource belongs too. https://developers.google.com/google-apps/documents-list/#managing_collections_and_their_contents says that each resource has as et of parent links, so I tried changing my code to do set link instead of set category, but this did not work. $folder = "https://docs.google.com/feeds/documents/private/full/folder%3A0wSFA2WHc"; $rel = "http://schemas.google.com/docs/2007#parent"; $linkObj = new Zend_Gdata_App_Extension_Link($folder,$rel,'application/atom+xml', NULL,'Folder Name'); $links = $entry->getLink(); array_push($links,$linkObj); $entry->setLink($links); $return = $docs->updateEntry($entry,$entry->getEditLink()->href); EDIT: SOLVED [nearly] OK Here is how to move/copy, sort of, from one folder to another: simpler than initially thought, but problem is it creates a reference and NOT a move!     I have a standard passwd file & a usermap file - which maps unix name (eg jbloggs) with AD account name (eg bloggsjoe) in the format: jbloggs bloggsjoe jsmith smithjohn ... etc. How can I edit the passwd file to swap the original unix name with the AD account name so each line of the passwd file has the AD account name instead. Appreciate any help for a perl learner.
