  • What's open-source commenting system are available?

    My site has several listing pages and on each page, I'd like to enable a commenting mechanism, but I want it to be as open source as humanly possible. This means full use of OpenID's, Facebook connect, etc. Does such a system exist that'll allow users to post their comments on my listing pages? By the way, my site utilizes a LAMP architecture.

  • ASP.NET MVC AcceptVerbs and registering routes

    Hi Folks, do I have to register the HttpVerb constraint in my route definition (when i'm registering routes) if i have decorated my action method with the [AcceptVerbs(..)] attribute already? eg. i have this. [AcceptVerbs(HttpVerbs.Post)] public ActionResult Create(FormCollection formCollection) { .. } do i need to add this to the route that refers to this action, as a constraint?

    My question is : I want to know when does a xLayout (or ViewGroup in general) add a child view from XML ? And by "when" I mean at what point of code, in what "pass" of the "traversal" of the UI toolkit ? Which method of xLayout or ViewGroup should I override ?     Hello, I'm looking to create a hash with sha256 using openssl and C++. I know there's a similar post about this here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/918676/generate-sha-hash-in-openssl, but I'm looking to specifically create sha256. UPDATE: Seems to be a problem witht he include paths. It can't find any openssl functions even though I included #include "openssl/sha.h" and I included the paths in my build -I/opt/ssl/include/ -L/opt/ssl/lib/ -lcrypto

    A non-hypothetical but abstracted situation: I have a domain www.foo.com, from which I'm making an AJAX POST to beta.foo.com. Examining the XHR object, I see a response header of 200 OK, but no response text - I even get a response 12B long, which is the exact response (a 12-character string) that I'm expecting - but the response text is blank. If this is a cross-domain issue, why am I getting 200 OK, and better yet - why am I seeing the PHP functions fire on the beta.foo.com side - yet getting no response?

    It's possible to create href-attibutes that makes the iPhone quit Safari and launch another app. For the official Twitter-app this would look like: <a href="twitter:///post?message=my+important+message">Click to deliver message to Twitter-apps status updater</a> For the Facebook-app the protocoll is: fb:/// But i can't figure out, or find any information about, how to get my message (a url to share) directly into the the status updater. Is there a url-scheme, or am I going about this the wrong way?
