• Default values for Content Taxonomy fields in Drupal with Hierarchical Select widget

  I'm trying to set the default value for a Content Taxonomy field in a hook_form_alter, but can't pin down the necessary format. I've tried this and many variations: foreach (element_children($form) as $child) { // Set $default_value. if ($form[$child]['tids']) { // This, for Content Taxonomy fields, isn't working: $form[$child]['tids']['#default_value'] = array('value' => $default_value); dsm($form[$child]['tids']['#default_value']); } else { // This, for other fields, is working: $form[$child][0]['#default_value']['value'] = $default_value; } } Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? Edit: In response to Henrik Opel (thanks for getting involved), here is the print out of the relevant field of the form with my changes to the default fields commented out, showing the '#default_value' field I'm trying to influence. It also shows that the option widget I'm using is Hierarchical Select (could this be a factor?). • Serial Communication between Java RXTX and Arduino

  I'm trying to communicate between my PC (Windows 7 using Netbeans and RXTX) with an Arduino Pro, using the serial port. The Arduino is actually connected to the PC using an FTDI cable. The code is based on the Java SimpleRead.Java found here. Currently the Arduino simply prints out a string when it starts up. My Java program should print the number of bytes that have been read and then print out the contents. The Java program works, sort of... If the string is long (10 bytes or so) the output will get broken up. So if on the Arduino I print Serial.println("123456789123456789"); //20 bytes including '\r' and '\n' The output of my Java program may look something like: Number of Bytes: 15 1234567891234 Number of Bytes: 5 56789 or Number of Bytes: 12 1234567891 Number of Bytes: 8 23456789 I'm thinking it's a timing problem, because when I manually go through the code using the debugger, the result string is always what it should be: one 20 byte string. I've been messing with various things but I haven't been able to fix the problem.   In a web app, we're looking to display a list of sam accounts for users that are a member of a certain group. Groups could have 500 or more members in many cases and we need the page to be responsive. With a group of about 500 members it takes 7-8 seconds to get a list of sam accounts for all members of the group. Are there faster ways? I know the Active Directory Management Console does it in under a second.   (Using VS 2010 Beta 2 - .Net 4.0 B2 Rel) I have a class, MyTable, derived from BindingList where S is a struct. S is made up of several other structs, for example: public class MyTable<S>:BindingList<S> where S: struct { ... } public struct MyStruct { public MyReal r1; public MyReal r2; public MyReal R1 {get{...} set{...}} public MyReal R2 {get{...} set{...}} ... } public struct MyReal { private Double d; private void InitFromString(string) {this.d = ...;} public MyReal(Double d) { this.d = d;} public MyReal(string val) { this.d = default(Double); InitFromString(val);} public override string ToString() { return this.real.ToString();} public static explicit operator MyReal(string s) { return new MyReal(s);} public static implicit operator String(MyReal r) { return r.ToString();} ... } OK, I use the MyTable as a binding source for a DataGridView. I can load the data grid easily using InitFromString on individual fields in MyStruct. The problem comes when I try to edit a value in a cell of the DataGridView. Going to the first row, first column, I change the value of the existing number. It gives an exception blizzard, the first line of which says: System.FormatException: Invalid cast from 'System.String' to 'MyReal' I've looked at the casting discussions and reference books but don't see any obvious problems. Any ideas?

  Hi, I'm trying to call a thread on a button click (btn_more) but i cant get it right. The thread is to get some data and update the images. The problem i have is if i only update 4 or 5 images then it works fine. But if i load more than 5 images i will get a force close. At times when the internet is slow I will face the same problem too. Can please help me to solve this problem or provide me some guidance?   I'm trying to write a test for an UrlHelper extensionmethod that is used like this: Url.Action<TestController>(x => x.TestAction()); However, I can't seem set it up correctly so that I can create a new UrlHelper and then assert that the returned url was the expected one.   Alright, an easy one for you guys. We are using ActiveReport's RichTextBox to display some random bits of HTML code. The HTML tags supported by ActiveReport can be found here : http://www.datadynamics.com/Help/ARNET3/ar3conSupportedHtmlTagsInRichText.html An example of what I want to do is replace any match of <div style="text-align:*</div> by <p style=\"text-align:*</p> in order to use a supported tag for text-alignment. I have found the following regex expression to find the correct match in my html input: <div style=\"text-align:(.*?)</div> However, I can't find a way to keep the previous text contained in the tags after my replacement. Any clue?   Hello. Background: I have an application that has to read from files on a network drive (Z:) This works great in my office domain, however it does not work on site (in a different domain). As far as I can tell the domain users and network drives are set in the same way, however I do not have access to users etc in the customers domain. When I couldn't access the network drive I figured I needed a token for a user.   So, I'm trying to use Doctrine to retrieve some data. I think my issue with the code below is setting the variable to the collection is an object therefore on the heap and therefore is just creating a pointer to the same object So my question is besides creating a deep copy, or copying the collection into a different List object is there a better way to do the following to aviod the error during the for loop.   Hello everyone, I have to classes (Person and Address) that i need to send via wcf, the classes look like this: public class PersoanaFizica :IExtensibleDataObject { [DataMember] private Guid _id; [DataMember(Name = "Id")] protected virtual Guid Id { get { return _id; } set { _id = value; } } private ExtensionDataObject _extensionData; public virtual ExtensionDataObject ExtensionData { get { return _extensionData; } set { _extensionData = value; } } private string _firstName; [Searchable(PropertyName="FirstName")] [DataMember] public virtual string FirstName { get { return this._firstName; } set { this._firstName = value; } } private string _lastName; [Searchable(PropertyName="LastName")] [DataMember] public virtual string LastName { get { return this._lastName; } set { this. _lastName = value; } } private Address _address; [Searchable(PropertyName="Address")] [DataMember] public virtual Address Address { get { return this._address; } set { this._address = value; } } } public class Address : IExtensibleDataObject { [DataMember] private Guid _id; [DataMember] public virtual Guid Id { get { return _id; } set { _id = value; } } private ExtensionDataObject _extensionData; public virtual ExtensionDataObject ExtensionData { get { return _extensionData; } set { _extensionData = value; } } private string _country; [Searchable(PropertyName="Country")] [DataMember] public virtual string Country { get { return this._country; } set { this._country = value; } } // and some other properties related to the address } The problem is that when i try to send them via wcf, the client recieves the Id properties set to 00000-0000-00000-00000 or smth like this. Any idea why this is happening? And how to serialize the proper values? Thanks,Denis.

• Java - How to find count of items in a list in another list

  Say I have two lists: List<String>products = new ArrayList<String>(); products.add("computer"); products.add("phone"); products.add("mouse"); products.add("keyboard"); List<String>cart = new ArrayList<String>(); cart.add("phone"); cart.add("monitor"); I need to find how many items in the cart list exist in the products list. For the lists above, the answer would be 1 (as phone is in products and cart). If the cart list was: List<String>cart = new ArrayList<String>(); cart.add("desk"); cart.add("chair"); The result would be 0. If cart contained computer, mouse, desk, chair, the result would be 2 (for computer and mouse). Is there something in the Apache Commons Collections or the Google Collections API? I've looked through them and see ways to get a bag count, but not from another list, although it's possible I'm missing something. Right now, the only way I can think of is to iterate over the cart items and see if products contains the individual item and keep a count. I can't use containsAll as I need the count (not a boolean), and that would fail if all items in cart didn't exist in the product list (which can happen). I'm using Java 1.6 if that matters.

  I'm just starting to use the jets3t API for S3, using version 0.7.2 I can't seem to save metadata with the S3Objects I'm creating. What am I doing wrong? The object is successfully saved when I putObject, but I don't see the metadata after I get the object.
