  In Eclipse is it possible to create automatically Getters and Setters for a field. But I have a lot of private fields for which only getters should exist.   Why does C# not allow const and static on the same line? In Java, you must declare a field as 'static' and 'final' to act as a constant. Why does C# not let you declare const's as final? I make the further distinction that in Java, every interface is public and abstract, whether this is explicitly declared or not. Aren't const's effectively static in nature? WHy does C# balk at this?

SELECT [ID] ,[File] FROM [dbo].[Reports] I would like to be able to tell user the size of File which is VarBinary(max) field in MS SQL 2005/2008. How to do that? Maybe the only way to do is to create another column and when inserting file i should also insert it's size in additional column?

• Help with google maps api, user allowed marker map

  Without telling everyone too much about my new idea for a website, Pretty much I need help, maybe someone can help write it up, with a site that has a simple map that allows any user to double click the map and make a marker. When the marker comes up I just want Title and Description available for edit(only once, so others cant change it). What would be the best way of doing this from a UI point of view? I've looked at editable select boxes using jQuery but none seem to let you enter your own option.   Hi all, I tried to use Devise 1.0.6 over Rails 2.3. I followed the installation instructions and the user can successfully sign up. However, when I use the registered user account to sign in, the password field is cleared up and nothing happened. Could anyone give me some ideas? Thanks in advance.

  I'm trying to redo an existing panel that I made before GWT 2.0 was released. The panel has a few text fields and a scrollable panel below in a VerticalPanel. Also you would expect the extra typing will provide named argument as you pass it in, but you still have to pass them in the correct order. Can anyone help me make sense of this?
